Praying has the effect of making you feel better, not your imaginary friend. Better to meditate on this world and the ways we can better it.

My father a simple man of British ancestry who wasn’t ever knighted or considered important by anybody except his family was laying in a rented hospital bed, dying at home in his own darkened bedroom. Family was near him and heard him say, “ Thank you for bringing the Light, it helps a lot,” then he held up his right arm and held out his hand and said, “Jesus.” My dad exhaled and never breathed again. I believe that Jesus came and led this simple man who taught his entire family and took us all to Church and I think He took dad by the hand and dad saw the Spiritual Light and was led to Heaven. By the way we are Americans, my father was 50% English and 50% Irish blood from his grandparents. The ancestors had immigrated to America back in the 1800’s I don’t know for sure what exact year. But his mother was an infant in her mother’s arms in the year 1885 sitting on the seat in a covered wagon crossing the prairie to come and homestead farm land to build a home and farm the land under the Homestead Act started by Abraham Lincoln. My dad was born in 1925 and his mother had him when she was 46 years old and dad lived to be 93 years old.

Yes I filmed David Attenborough in 1995 at Potteric Carr Nature reserve in Doncaster. I had my own video production business and got the job of filming a record of him being shown around the reserve. I do have a photograph of me speaking with him as well as the video. As I walked with him and looked into the ponds of nature, I did ask him if he saw God the Creator in all this creation. He didn't of course and kind of dismissed it. So sad that with all his privilege and knowledge of creation that he was totally blind to seeing the Creator. We continue to pray for him that he will humble himself, repent of his sin and receive Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour. Time is running out David, please do it now. We don't need any special sensory organs to believe but humility, a contrite heart and open eyes to see the Creator who gave us life in all this miraculous creation. Mankind in its fallen and sinful condition doesn't want to be accountable to Almighty God but carry on in our arrogance and sinful ways.

I once told a friend I envied her faith. She told me to pray to the Holy Spirit for the gift of faith, which I did pretty much every day. I can't pinpoint the moment but after several weeks I just knew Jesus Christ was the way and the truth. I couldn't deny Him now, even if I wanted to and certainly not if my life depended on it. Perhaps Sir David could do the same!

The Bible says we may pray and ask for something and if it is according to His will, it will be done. I prayed in faith and asked God if He would save Bob Dylan. When I say "save" I am really meaning to say that He would bring him to Himself, that He would rescue him from his sin, and save him to Eternity.

I am suffering from severe depression, and your videos have helped to lift my spirits and reconnect with God. I downloaded the Bible app and have started spending time with God by reading scripture. Does anyone find a connection with wildlife and nature as wonderful and gentle signs from God? Now that it's winter you can see many deer in the woods, aside from them venturing into plain sight while grazing. I was looking up the meaning of the words "Kyrie eleison" the other morning because the song Kyrie by Mr. Mister started playing in my queue (beautiful beginning to that song). And as I read the words "Lord have mercy" I looked and staring at me from the woods was a gorgeous deer. I have found great comfort in seeing God's creatures. We have 2 cats. They both like to be close and cuddly but one cat started doing something he never did before after my dad passed away. He would come up to visit early in the morning, meowing, head-butting and rubbing his face on my face, then he would plop right next to me. It could be for a few minutes or longer, but it was like God was giving me comfort for my grief. I don't take anything for granted and I try very hard to be the latter, understanding and kind. About 3 hours after watching your video, I told my sister how I prayed for guidance. Normally, I read the Bible, pray, and carry on with my day. However, this morning after praying for guidance, which I do in a secluded room WITHOUT my phone with me, I decided to read a bit more. I started where I left off, and there it was, my answer! When I told my sister she said “you know your phone can hear you” 🤦♀️ She says she believes in Jesus, but doesn’t read the Bible. I have been trying to encourage her by showing her how my life has changed since I’ve gotten back on track. I’m 61, saved at 11 but fell off track. Lot of stories in between of God trying to get my attention. It took one bad day that got my attention and I stumbled across your videos along with a couple others. Started reading the Bible and Praise Jesus, I’m staying on track. I’ve messaged you before Joe and you asked about sharing my testimony. Is that something I do on a message like this or should I share elsewhere? God Bless you and all you do🙏 ****Edit to update: after talking to my sister after what went on, she ended up telling me that I was “being mean”. I thought I was just being stern, direct. I didn’t respond to her after she said that because I didn’t want to escalate things. Later that night, I always sleep with a large covered glass of water at my beside. For the first time in maybe 5 years, after taking a drink in the middle of the night, I completely missed my night table! Water went EVERYWHERE . My purse was beside my bed, and yep, a good amount landed inside it. About 2 hours later, one of my cats had a hairball.. sorry for the tmi… but if you have cats, I’m sure you know how loud it can be. Now don’t judge ( not that any of you would) but being so tired, I thought I will just clean it up in a couple of hours. But, nope, this particular hairball stank! Lol And I knew I should have cleaned it up in the first place. So up I got and cleaned it up. Now it was about 4 or 5 am. All I could think about was what my sister said about me being mean. I don’t claim to hear God speaking to me, but perhaps he was getting my attention 🤷♀️ So, of course I read the Bible until it was a decent time to call her and apologized. She accepted my apology and we talked. I let her know that I appreciated her saying those words about me being mean. It really got me thinking about accountability. So, while my intentions were to encourage her, it kind of flipped back on me in the way of a learning moment. ***

You can overcome. It may seem that times are hard and it’s easily to get discouraged. I know that is the enemy at work. Remember, he is tricky. He’s not the cartoon character that a lot of people try to portray on tv… please don’t mistake this as me saying that’s what you think, because that is not my intention. In fact I’m just learning all this myself. The devil is very tricky. He can seem so charming just to entice you to sin. He already knows your weaknesses and will use them against you. But as soon as you give into the sin he will be the first to ask you “ why did you do that? You know it is wrong”. That is why you will feel guilt after committing a sin. The Holy Spirit within you grieves whenever you sin. Just by you writing what you wrote, shows that The Holy Spirit is indeed with you and doesn’t want you to feel that sorrow, that sadness and the feeling of not wanting to go on! My advice to you and I hope others will correct me as I am still learning myself, but I’ve learned that if you have not already accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then that will be a good starting point. Maybe @offthekirb can help you with that or someone else on this thread may be of some help. After that, you will start to feel changes. It may not happen overnight but that’s where faith plays a part. Just look up at the sky and all around outside at all the miracles God has performed! He created the entire universe! There is proof of it in the Bible. I downloaded a free Bible app on my phone that allows you to hear the Bible as you read it. I feel it’s important to not just listen to it, but see the words. And yes, it may seem overwhelming, but I promise, it will all start to make sense. If me, as a 61 year old woman, that is just now reading the Bible for the first time, then you can too. The app I have has all sorts of features for looking up information as well as other freebies like the verse of the day. The one I downloaded is called Holy Bible, daily study, audio & prayer. I got mine from the App store on my iPhone. It has a lot of features that you can familiarize yourself with to help you along. Just remember, Satan is basically a bully. He wants you to fail whereas God wants you in His Kingdom!! How wonderful! You start reading where you want but there are different places you can research that may be more helpful in deciding on whether to start at the beginning or with something in the New Testament. Again, I promise you, it WILL get better. Also, start praying daily. Go somewhere alone where you won’t be disturbed if possible, and let God know you want to know Him. He’s listening. He may not come right out and talk back, but I assure you he’s listening. Keep a journal if you must of different feelings you have and use it as a reference when something does change in your life. You will be surprised! I know I was. Don’t ever think there isn’t hope because that’s just the enemy trying to make you think that. Say it out loud “ I rebuke you for (insert whatever it is). I’m just telling you what helps me and hopefully it will help you. For reference, I used to drink, do drugs and other sins. It can be overcome. Have faith and remember to thank God for what blessings you do have. It may be something as simple as you having a roof over your head, or even the means to see this message. And repent any sins you can think of. Don’t dwell on them, just repent and renounce (turn away from the sin). Say it with a childlike faith and believe it when you say it. You can do it! God will forgive you of your sins when you repent with your whole heart. Slate is wiped clean for you to go down a more righteous path. And if you slip up, get back up and pray again, stay in The Word by reading the Bible. Now, this doesn’t mean to go sin and ask for forgiveness only to do it over and over again. Keep having faith and trust that the Holy Spirit is with you. Do NOT give up. Keep watching Joe’s videos. Pray for wisdom , guidance, discernment. It's incredible to me that someone like David Attenborough, who has seen how intricate this world is knitted together can still be unsure about an intelligent designer. It may just be his "education" holding him back from saying what should be so obvious to him. I love David Attenborough though, he really does have a wonderful way of presenting God's creations. I was always fascinated with David Attenborough's documentaries. The way he showed the complexity and mysteries of nature. To me it was evidence of intelligent design, so it always bewildered me how he related everything to evolution. I mean really, if these plants and creatures needed to have these features to survive, then how could they have survived long enough to evolve into their complex forms? I was taught evolution at school, but by the time I was an adult, I had totally disregarded it. The evidence of God is literally everywhere. So, now I too believe in a 6 day creation. To me, one cannot be a Christian if they believe in evolution, for if death preceded sin then what is the purpose of the gospel of Christ?

I love your informative videos. I too am a simple soul, always learning everyday who Jesus is. The bible to me is many beautiful, interesting stories, I am amazed how prophecy is being unfolded right now in 2024

My father a simple man of British ancestry who wasn’t ever knighted or considered important by anybody except his family was laying in a rented hospital bed, dying at home in his own darkened bedroom. Family was near him and heard him say, “ Thank you for bringing the Light, it helps a lot,” then he held up his right arm and held out his hand and said, “Jesus.” My dad exhaled and never breathed again. I believe that Jesus came and led this simple man who taught his entire family and took us all to Church and I think He took dad by the hand and dad saw the Spiritual Light and was led to Heaven. By the way we are Americans, my father was 50% English and 50% Irish blood from his grandparents. The ancestors had immigrated to America back in the 1800’s I don’t know for sure what exact year. But his mother was an infant in her mother’s arms in the year 1885 sitting on the seat in a covered wagon crossing the prairie to come and homestead farm land to build a home and farm the land under the Homestead Act started by Abraham Lincoln. My dad was born in 1925 and his mother had him when she was 46 years old and dad lived to be 93 years old.

Yes I filmed David Attenborough in 1995 at Potteric Carr Nature reserve in Doncaster. I had my own video production business and got the job of filming a record of him being shown around the reserve. I do have a photograph of me speaking with him as well as the video. As I walked with him and looked into the ponds of nature, I did ask him if he saw God the Creator in all this creation. He didn't of course and kind of dismissed it. So sad that with all his privilege and knowledge of creation that he was totally blind to seeing the Creator. We continue to pray for him that he will humble himself, repent of his sin and receive Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour. Time is running out David, please do it now. We don't need any special sensory organs to believe but humility, a contrite heart and open eyes to see the Creator who gave us life in all this miraculous creation. Mankind in its fallen and sinful condition doesn't want to be accountable to Almighty God but carry on in our arrogance and sinful ways.

I once told a friend I envied her faith. She told me to pray to the Holy Spirit for the gift of faith, which I did pretty much every day. I can't pinpoint the moment but after several weeks I just knew Jesus Christ was the way and the truth. I couldn't deny Him now, even if I wanted to and certainly not if my life depended on it. Perhaps Sir David could do the same!

She would see a brother in town centre who was unwell physically yet handed out tracts, whatever else was going on, she eventually spoke to him, and realized that she was talking to a guy who knew the Well that never runs dry. Since her assurance was in her want to be correct.
She got the Holy Spirit leading, her canny husband didn't fret.
One time we were out in town, and two ladies were closing the security blinds of their business. Turns out they were spiritualists. A debate ensued, and she held her ground, our other brother who had gone to pray, said little later,
I'm glad I fast on Thursday and Sundays.

My Uncle who is Mormon and I talked about being a Christian. He was brought up in a Christian home. He converted when he got married. The Lord gave me the right things to say. He was very red faced because he could not win. We did not yell just talked. The Holy Spirit was with me that night. Leading me to give him food for thought. My mother started reading her bible again. Thank you Lord.

Does anyone find a connection with wildlife and nature as wonderful and gentle signs from God? Now that it's winter you can see many deer in the woods, aside from them venturing into plain sight while grazing. I was looking up the meaning of the words "Kyrie eleison" the other morning because the song Kyrie by Mr. Mister started playing in my queue (beautiful beginning to that song). And as I read the words "Lord have mercy" I looked and staring at me from the woods was a gorgeous deer. I have found great comfort in seeing God's creatures. We have 2 cats. They both like to be close and cuddly but one cat started doing something he never did before after my dad passed away. He would come up to visit early in the morning, meowing, head-butting and rubbing his face on my face, then he would plop right next to me. It could be for a few minutes or longer, but it was like God was giving me comfort for my grief. I don't take anything for granted and I try very hard to be the latter, understanding and kind. About 3 hours after watching your video, I told my sister how I prayed for guidance. Normally, I read the Bible, pray, and carry on with my day. However, this morning after praying for guidance, which I do in a secluded room WITHOUT my phone with me, I decided to read a bit more. I started where I left off, and there it was, my answer! When I told my sister she said “you know your phone can hear you” 🤦♀️ She says she believes in Jesus, but doesn’t read the Bible. I have been trying to encourage her by showing her how my life has changed since I’ve gotten back on track. I’m 61, saved at 11 but fell off track. Lot of stories in between of God trying to get my attention. It took one bad day that got my attention and I stumbled across your videos along with a couple others. Started reading the Bible and Praise Jesus, I’m staying on track. I’ve messaged you before Joe and you asked about sharing my testimony. Is that something I do on a message like this or should I share elsewhere?

****Edit to update: after talking to my sister after what went on, she ended up telling me that I was “being mean”. I thought I was just being stern, direct. I didn’t respond to her after she said that because I didn’t want to escalate things.
Later that night, I always sleep with a large covered glass of water at my beside. For the first time in maybe 5 years, after taking a drink in the middle of the night, I completely missed my night table! Water went EVERYWHERE . My purse was beside my bed, and yep, a good amount landed inside it. About 2 hours later, one of my cats had a hairball.. sorry for the tmi… but if you have cats, I’m sure you know how loud it can be. Now don’t judge ( not that any of you would) but being so tired, I thought I will just clean it up in a couple of hours. But, nope, this particular hairball stank! Lol And I knew I should have cleaned it up in the first place. So up I got and cleaned it up. Now it was about 4 or 5 am. All I could think about was what my sister said about me being mean. I don’t claim to hear God speaking to me, but perhaps he was getting my attention 🤷♀️
So, of course I read the Bible until it was a decent time to call her and apologized. She accepted my apology and we talked. I let her know that I appreciated her saying those words about me being mean. It really got me thinking about accountability. So, while my intentions were to encourage her, it kind of flipped back on me in the way of a learning moment. ***

You can overcome. It may seem that times are hard and it’s easily to get discouraged. I know that is the enemy at work. Remember, he is tricky. He’s not the cartoon character that a lot of people try to portray on tv… please don’t mistake this as me saying that’s what you think, because that is not my intention. In fact I’m just learning all this myself. The devil is very tricky. He can seem so charming just to entice you to sin. He already knows your weaknesses and will use them against you. But as soon as you give into the sin he will be the first to ask you “ why did you do that? You know it is wrong”. That is why you will feel guilt after committing a sin. The Holy Spirit within you grieves whenever you sin. Just by you writing what you wrote, shows that The Holy Spirit is indeed with you and doesn’t want you to feel that sorrow, that sadness and the feeling of not wanting to go on! My advice to you and I hope others will correct me as I am still learning myself, but I’ve learned that if you have not already accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then that will be a good starting point. Maybe @offthekirb can help you with that or someone else on this thread may be of some help. After that, you will start to feel changes. It may not happen overnight but that’s where faith plays a part. Just look up at the sky and all around outside at all the miracles God has performed! He created the entire universe! There is proof of it in the Bible.
I downloaded a free Bible app on my phone that allows you to hear the Bible as you read it. I feel it’s important to not just listen to it, but see the words. And yes, it may seem overwhelming, but I promise, it will all start to make sense. If me, as a 61 year old woman, that is just now reading the Bible for the first time, then you can too. The app I have has all sorts of features for looking up information as well as other freebies like the verse of the day. The one I downloaded is called Holy Bible, daily study, audio & prayer. I got mine from the App store on my iPhone. It has a lot of features that you can familiarize yourself with to help you along.
Just remember, Satan is basically a bully. He wants you to fail whereas God wants you in His Kingdom!! How wonderful!
You start reading where you want but there are different places you can research that may be more helpful in deciding on whether to start at the beginning or with something in the New Testament. Again, I promise you, it WILL get better. Also, start praying daily. Go somewhere alone where you won’t be disturbed if possible, and let God know you want to know Him. He’s listening. He may not come right out and talk back, but I assure you he’s listening. Keep a journal if you must of different feelings you have and use it as a reference when something does change in your life. You will be surprised! I know I was.
Don’t ever think there isn’t hope because that’s just the enemy trying to make you think that. Say it out loud “ I rebuke you for (insert whatever it is). I’m just telling you what helps me and hopefully it will help you.
For reference, I used to drink, do drugs and other sins. It can be overcome. Have faith and remember to thank God for what blessings you do have. It may be something as simple as you having a roof over your head, or even the means to see this message. And repent any sins you can think of. Don’t dwell on them, just repent and renounce (turn away from the sin). Say it with a childlike faith and believe it when you say it.
You can do it! God will forgive you of your sins when you repent with your whole heart. Slate is wiped clean for you to go down a more righteous path.
And if you slip up, get back up and pray again, stay in The Word by reading the Bible. Now, this doesn’t mean to go sin and ask for forgiveness only to do it over and over again. Keep having faith and trust that the Holy Spirit is with you.
Do NOT give up. Keep watching Joe’s videos. Pray for wisdom , guidance, discernment. Don’t forget to thank God for all He has blessed you with.

Our light can shine by showing gentleness and compassion in our conversations. We have too much hatefulness and divisive behavior everywhere. Showing respect to someone nowadays will brighten up the room to God's glory.
So true! It's easy to feel like responding argumentatively to those who spread satan's lies & to those who cut down our Savior & Father God. But one major purpose of Jesus' ministry as a man on earth was to teach us ~how to love the haters. It really is ALL about love!!!

It's incredible to me that someone like David Attenborough, who has seen how intricate this world is knitted together can still be unsure about an intelligent designer. It may just be his "education" holding him back from saying what should be so obvious to him. I love David Attenborough though, he really does have a wonderful way of presenting God's creations. I hope he opens his heart to the Lord some day soon.

I was always fascinated with David Attenborough's documentaries. The way he showed the complexity and mysteries of nature. To me it was evidence of intelligent design, so it always bewildered me how he related everything to evolution. I mean really, if these plants and creatures needed to have these features to survive, then how could they have survived long enough to evolve into their complex forms?
I was taught evolution at school, but by the time I was an adult, I had totally disregarded it. The evidence of God is literally everywhere.
So, now I too believe in a 6 day creation. To me, one cannot be a Christian if they believe in evolution, for if death preceded sin then what is the purpose of the gospel of Christ?

While not a Christian but a Muslim, I think as people of faith we feel God and therefore see his magnificent creation around us. David sees but his heart is where the blindness resides.

Look how long it’s been, and still counting, since Christ Jesus resurrected; He’s giving more people an opportunity to receive the free gift of Salvation!
