Some of you might have been intrigued by the set I used here. This is my creation, the "raw elemental set". The idea behind it was to be used against raw favored matchups where raw had an advantage and/or fights where you couldn't use the echo attack as much. Against silver rathalos, full ele is really strong but some of your moves outside echo attack are weaker. This proved to be an issue when I wanted to dunk silver rathalos (not enough damage). This set fixed the issue of dealing good damage on the physical side while pumping my ele damage. Another example of fights where this can shine is against glavenus and acidic glavenus. The elemental hitzones aren't good enough to make full ele strong. Besides, it is very difficult to use the echo attack on these 2 unless they are down (severely crippling ele HH). In a way this is reminescent of Deep Vero back in mhw. High raw with some bonus element on your weapon.
Nice counter build for those less than ideal hitzones. Well done, I always enjoy your videos, and though I consider myself an IG main, I use HH very often.
Would a fully safi build be better for this kind of build? That's what I use instead. My build gets close to the elemental build but I have comfy skills like health boost as well.
@@alexcompositionflat Same. I don't like running a Safi set without Health Boost. You'd be one-shot bait for Tempereds. This set is a lot like the one I'm running, save for comfort adjustments, but there's an element cap I'm hitting and I wonder why his doesn't lol
Me pretending to be a HH main: "I hate hunting the silver rathalos, he's flying all the time; so annoying" Me after seeing this run: "no excuses I have to git gud"
Thanks for sharing in the description this usefull trick, HH is my favorite weapon in IceBorn, and your videos are for me masterclass. Keep going boy, we are watching !
You maximed the elemental and raw attack to kill Silverlos and without using critical eye A perfect run need a perfect build The Master of Hunting Horn is here my comrades
@@wallacesousuke1433 wdym ? bowgun required alot of skill to use like aiming and reloading, do you know how hard it is to drag your reticle to the monster face ? like too hard, even for veteran, that why capcom should buff it.
Hey, man. I went back to this vid after trying to build a Safi elemental horn. With Element 6 and the Safi Armor bonus, the Element value hits the cap. Yours doesn't. Is it because of the single element augment?
Don't be fooled by the value you get while your weapon is sheathed. As soon as you unsheath, you will see that the cap has been increased. The safi set bonus raises the cap.
@@Doos Yeah, I tested it: 320 sheathed, and maxed out (in orange) at 400 unsheathed, if I remember right, so I didn't get the most out of Elem 6. S'why I was thinking your one Element Augment was able to push the cap up.
As you can see in the video, I lose health while queueing up my songs because of the Safi Set bonus. I didn't want to start the fight with less than full HP (just in case).
After you play a song you can play it again immediatly by pressing r2 again this is called an encore the timing is pretty generous you just have to hit r2 before your horn returns to a neutral position
@@sebastjankosec 😲😲 cool stuff, thank you very much!! And BTW, what's the combo with highest DPS for the HH? I'm a LS main but started picking the HH recently to shake things up a bit
@@wallacesousuke1433 oh so same as me 2 months ago haha also switched from ls to hh a bit and now its my main weapon haha. For when the monster is down the highest dps combo is spin>hilt stab repeat you do the spin by clicking L2 after any attack except a recital or encore and you can hilt stab by holding back and inputing any of the attack buttons after any attack except a recital or enocre (back being relevant to where yoour character is facing unless you changed the settings and any of the attack butons being X O or X+O)
@@wallacesousuke1433 To add to what has been said earlier: when you are going to play multiple songs at once, make sure you start with self-improvement. The 2 note songs like self-improvement end faster than the 4 notes songs (like AuxL). You finish buffing faster this way (ideal for buffing at the start).
Hey just wanna inform you that your thumbnail for the nargacuga speedrun is incorrect it shows a blast HH but you're using a thunder HH don't know if you can change that or even care but just so you know
wow what the heck is going on with that build. I did not know an attack awakening elemental horn could do so much damage without any element crit. Could a MT + CE build with full attack awakening be stronger than MT + CE full element?

I figured it was cause ele only really catches up on silverlos after the break, its head being 10 water until then.

@@theglaiveguy he should be hitting the elemental cap. I hit it with with element attack 6(where the last point only gives 20 element)
That bit where the impact echo hit him, knocked him out, and you rolled right into the perfect position for a pound was super clean.

2:03 - 2:26 👌
Just when i thought i was getting good at HH you show me more stuff to improve on. Good run and thank you for making me a better dooter
This is the kinda run that makes you doubt whether to stop running or to go on trying harder
Masterful stuff with the KO timings
Much appreciated Cool Cat! It's a fun fight to master (outside of the dunk rng)
Damn it, you make him look like a joke. Go away.
3:05 it’s like silver Rath hates me just for watching.
Positioning is on point!!
Excellent run, always inspiring us casual musicians. 🎷🎼🎶
I'm an SA main and I don't know nothing about HH but it seems to be one of the most complicated weapon tu use in this game, very nice run 👌
Flawless run, grats!
That was a bloody jojo pose at the end xD
A bloody stream indeed !

Beautiful!
Maestro!
Sick dooting mate
Excellent 👌🏻
How was he not hit with that fireball? 1:12 , 1:20
Superb
Amazing.. Like👍

Noice
stand close to its feet and bait it to use the jump-step attack, and combo with your smash
You're a god
We are NOT playing the same game right?
2 pcs agi+4 & 2 pcs resent+4, just super wow jewel there
Look at this hunk...
You make me wanna play HH.. but it seems hard to use
Capcom : it seem HH damage is too high after iceborne, next big dlc lets nerf it
While buffing bowguns even more xD

How long will the arena event last for silver and gold? I'm only Mr 41 :( I need a way to get to mr 70 asap. Help plz
It's not an event. You can just capture them and they have a chance to appear in the special arena.
