Appreciate the video it really helped with my 67 LTD but I was hoping there would be screws under it to take the speaker out do you know how I can get to that speaker without ripping the whole dash apart?
I pretty sure you have figured it out by now but there should be 4 metal pieces that are just compression push-in holders. They are like locking pins. Nothing fancy. They should just pull out easy.
Thank You sir!! I just bought a black plate 67 Galaxie from CA with a Cracked up dash I'm going to attempt to Bondo and paint this weekend. Because you cant find a dash anywhere for this car just the cap.
Got an xl same color Im trying to get running
What part of the country are you in? Your green Galaxie looks like my Galaxie from NC (near Charlotte) that I got rid of 30 years ago!

Thanks for posting this. It's exactly what I needed. Hope your resto is going well. :-)

Hugely helpful. Thank you. I removed one about 8 years ago, but forgot about taking the instrument cluster cover off.
I'll definitely follow a galaxie build!
You’re a saint
Thanks!
