HOLY CRAP!! My parents had this exact car when I was a kid. Daytona blue with a while painted hardtop. I have a picture of my standing next to it when I was about 8 - I'm 40 now. I have a yellow 67 that I am working on now. LOVE THE '67 GALAXIES !!!
My mother had a black 67 Galaxie with red interior and an 8 track tape deck ( A real big deal back in the day) I loved that car. GOD willing, I will have one some day. When I was 16, I offered to buy a 67 Galaxie that had been sitting in a mans front yard for well over 10 years. he wouldn't sell. 3 times I offered and 3 times he said not. That same car is still sitting in the same spot. I am 44 now.
Awesome! I love it! In the 80s I owned a 67 Ford Galaxie 500 Fast-Back, and she was sweeeet! She was a turquoise color, hardtop, mags, jacked in back, never had any problems with her at all for the three years I owned her and for the life of me, I don't recall why I let her go. I hate myself right now.
I've got a 67 galaxie as well. Very smooth car, but bouncy at 120+ lol. I have a 390 and C6 as well, my opinion the FE series were some of the best engines made.
My first car was a 67 ford had 3 of them to make one good one. I was 15 at the time. Sure wish I'd kept it. Lot of awesome memory's. never sale it you will be sorry. Pass it down to your kids.
The '67 LTD fastback was amazing, the chrome inside and out and the cloth interior made it look far better than the Galaxie, I kept that car for over 20 years
I also thought the 1967 Galaxie's were much better looking than the 1967 Impala's, plus I've always preferred the Galaxie's over the Impala's, I like how the 390 was a very common motor for many of the 1960s Galaxies/LTD's
I really like your car it looks great,I hope you still have it ! One of these day's I'd like to build a 67 Mercury Monteey fastback or ragtop, I would like to run a 428 cj with the Shelby heads & multiport fuel Injection setup they pull 500 hp and runs smooth ! I used to have a 67 Monterey ragtop as a kid it was a nothern car therefore rusty the frame was to soft it crumbled when wacked! I would love a clean car to cruise !
Nice car man! I always loved the '67. IMO the best year for Galaxies. Do you or any one know if anybody makes replacement body panels etc for these cars?
Can't blame you man! Think I'm going back to my oldschool rides once I sell my Monte SS! Too much expensive, computer operated crap in these newer cars! Love my Monte, but I'd rather have an older car anyday. If you're ever around the RIC airport, maybe I'll get to see that in person. Later
Did they have a 2.50 rear end back then? I have a 70' galaxie, 390-C6 w/ a 2.75 rear end (as noted on the ratio tag on the pumpkin) Sweat car though... makes me wanna start mine up right now for the hell of it.
either way it looks just like your except 7.5/10 condition but only 7*,*** original miles Also i was thinking about puting a lift kit on i was thinking 3" in back 1" front, any suggestions
Nice 67,I have one i bought new when i got out of the army, restored it twenty years ago.Yours really sounds good.
Now that's a car. When a Ford looks like a Ford and Men were Men and sheep were scared! Nice car.

I've always loved the 1967 Galaxie's, I thought 1967 was definitely the best year of the Galaxie's, loved the stacked headlights

That is one Sweet Ride, speaking as an owner of a 67 LTD Fastback...

Try to find the chrome grill from an XL. It will look 100% better from the front
