Pokemon Scarlet - Quaxly's Final Evolution! | PART 30

- Hello and welcome to more of my Pokemon Scarlet playthrough on Nintendo Switch! Today, we get to see Quaxly's final evolution! I avoided spoilers on this, so it's my first time getting to see it!

Picard's Log: Day 30
YO! Today is going to be an interesting day. I can just feel it! Let's get things started, shall we?
We started things off today by getting the TMs for Spikes, Night Shade, and Imprison while exploring! ^_^
Scykoh then got into a battle against a Student named Gerard who started things off by sending out his Lycanroc so Scykoh let me play with this pesky pooch! ^_^
Gerard then sent out his Scyther so Scykoh let Flam play with this bladed bug! ^_^
Scykoh then caught a wild Torkoal and found a TM for Take Down and Fire Spin while exploring! ^_^
Scykoh then got into a battle against a Student named Lorenzo who started things off by sending out his Finneon so Scykoh responded by letting me continue to grow! ^_^
That tingling feeling is getting stronger...
Lorenzo then sent out his Qwilfish so Scykoh let Goose :) play with this fugu foe! ^_^
Then Scykoh got into a Tera battle where he quickly defeated and caught a Barboach! ^_^
Scykoh then found the TM for Dragon Tail while exploring! ^_^

Scykoh then got into a battle against a Hiker named Celia who started things off by sending out her Naclstack so Scykoh decided to let me play with this Necali wannabe! ^_^
Suddenly that tingling sensation began coursing through my body but I was too deep into this battle to let it get to me now! ^_^
Meanwhile Celia responded by sending out her Flareon so Scykoh decided to let me continue to grow! ^_^
Celia then sent out her Hariyama so Scykoh let me show this fighting foe what for! ^_^

Suddenly Picard began to undergo his final metamorphosis! ^_^
He transformed into a Quaquaval! ^_^

WHOO HOO! MAN ALIVE THAT WAS FANTASTIC! I FEEL GREAT!
Scykoh then caught a wild Deino and a wild Snorunt! ^_^
Scykoh then found a TM for Dark Pulse while exploring! ^_^
Scykoh then fought and caught a wild Tera Flittle! ^_^
Then Scykoh found a TM for Fire Fang while exploring! ^_^
Then Scykoh fought and caught a Terastallized Falinks! ^_^
What will happen tomorrow?

Talks about how he wants to catch a Pineco then almost immediately cuts to a scene with a Pineco in front of him and he just leaves it 😂

I believe that pineco falls from the tree so you may need to bash into it. Loving the content as well!
Picard's final evo is water/fighting, so it might be wise to relearn a fighting move and the guy that asks for bronzor fragments will give you armour that will be used to evolve charcadet
i dunno how your recording sessions work,but because of this game's memory leak,its good to try to restart the game when the game starts chugging nonstop
As a note, the random items you find aren't preset. They're all randomly generated so you can't ACTUALLY collect 100% of them because they keep respawning.
I think those were definitely salandit in the ceiling... 22:15 plenty of clips online of pokemon spawning in walls and ceilings and floors, so I bet that's what you saw in that cave
The most fabulous starter
X-scissor does not have any secondary effect, so leech life is just strictly better. Moreover, even if you don't have the materials to craft leech life, you actually got one while exploring a few episodes ago, so you can teach it right away
please use zl to lock onto pokemon, it shows you if you've caught it or not

I wish the minimap would lock to north. It doesn't seem like a hard thing to make happen but oh well i guess.
was just thinking this yesterday 😅 makes no sense for the map to rotate
I’ve heard ppl say you can click R to lock it but frankly I could never get it to work…that map gets me so lost 😭
Scykoh keep your eyes open for wild Pokémon, you never know when a shiny might pop up. Because in my playthrough I’ve encountered like 10 full odds wild shinies.
For the free roaming Tera battles you can hit them as hard as you want it will stop at the low hp where it breaks their Tera, you can’t one shot it
My first thought when the guy says a Pokémon so big it was like a mountain is Tyranitar!

Is there a reason why you're never doing the stealth encounters (B -> ZL to target -> ZR from the back to initiate encounter) in order to vastly improve the catch rate?
Quaquaval reminds me a bit of Pave from Animal Crossing 😂
May I recommend going to the Bug gym on the bottom left side of the map? That one happens to be much lower level so I would hate for you to have an anticlimactic last gym leader if you leave it for too long 🙂
X-Scissor does not have a high crit chance. It's just straight damage. Leech Life is sorta just butter.
I meant to say "better" but "butter" is funnier so I won't fix it.

Necali will evolve at 38, and I did say prepare for Picard's final evolution.

Please, swap crafty for another pokemon, its one of the worst pokemon in the game.
Ugh what's the point of an "open world" (still not open world since everything is so linear) if towns are so empty and nothing close to alive? Enjoy watching the let's play but they did such a bad job it definitely does NOT deserve the price nor the hype.
