Just think, the Flittle you caught in a Tera raid all the way back in like episode 7 or 8 before you had most of your team would have evolved into Espathra if you'd kept it around, but your team is ace as it is. Also, Magneton doesn't learn Self-destruct, so you were panicking unnecessarily, and the Quick Ball is only as good as a regular Pokeball (1* catch rate) on any turn other than the first, so it'd be a complete waste.
Picard's Log Day 31: YO! Today is going to be an amazing day! I can already feel it! Let's get things started, shall we? We started things off today by catching a wild Pyroar, a wild Sneasel, a wild Axew, a wild Lycanroc, a wild Cetoddle, a wild Sawsbuck, a wild Scovillain, a wild Vigoroth, a wild Mudbray, (which Scykoh metamorphosed into a Mudsdale), and a wild Ursaring. ^_^ #CatchingSpree He then used Experience Candies to make his Vigoroth metamorphose into Slaking! ^_^ Then he did the same thing with Zorua, metamorphosing them into a Zoroark! ^_^ Scykoh then used a Thunderstone on his Pikachu to metamorphose it into a Raichu! ^_^ Scykoh then went back on his catching spree by starting off with a wild Espathra. ^_^ Then Necali underwent her own metamorphosis transforming into a Garganacl! ^_^ Then Scykoh caught a wild Grevard, a wild Gogoat, a wild Drifblim, and a wild Honchkrow! ^_^ Then he found the TM for Psybeam while exploring! ^_^ Scykoh then caught a wild Haunter and a wild Magneton! ^_^ What will happen tomorrow? ^_^
I think there's something wrong with the B button on your controller because I have experienced none of those message-disappearing glitches after 40+ hours of gameplay and the evolution stopping suddenly is a strong indication that this is what's going on. :|
If this is a question of which one, I would hope for the former. As much as people complained about SwSh having dlc I would much rather pay $20 to add extra content onto my game than pay $60 to buy a new game just for extra content.
@@roanoke42 Yeah they've definitely planned for DLC, which I'm looking forward to. There's a part of the map to the North-East which is blocked out that seems clearly set aside for the new part of the region that will be introduced.

you don't need to use any evo stones for the dex as all of the evolutions are either found in the wild or in 5&6 star raids

I would switch some team members out since you have so many overlapping types, also some of them are really weak
