- Hello and welcome to more of my Pokemon Scarlet playthrough on Nintendo Switch! Today, I try to catch something I definitely shouldn't be trying to catch at this point in the game.

In battles with wild tera Pokémon, their health will always stop at a certain threshold when they're low, so you can't accidentally kill them. That's when their terastal runs out and you can start throwing balls.
passive damage from sandstorm, leech seed, poison, etc won't break the tarastalization
Can't wait to see him explore the west side of the map and fight level 20's pokemon haha

Scykoh had guts of crud to battle and catch a level 75 Lucario!
I actually raised that little dude at the end of the episode there. He's pretty cool, both figuratively and literally.
Walls are merely a suggestion. I caught a Bagon and named it Wall Clip.
Gotta hand it to Scykoh- he's persistent 🤣
That Lucario catch was some true Pokémon hype, nicely done!!
I think you could also use Dusk Ball inside caves.
Tera Pokemon can't be nocked out in one hit, they are guaranteed to live at 20% HP.
You can't knock out a wild Pokemon that's terastalized. It'll do damage to the red, break tera, then you can catch it

Picard's Log: Day 32 YO! Today is going to be a great day! I can already feel it! Let's get things started, shall we?
We started things off today by getting into a battle against a Musician named Sara who sent out her Toxtricity so Scykoh let Necali play with this Baby Download wannabe! ^_^
Then Scykoh got into a battle against a Student named Teo who sent out his Galarian Tauros so Scykoh let Flam play with this torro terror! ^_^
Scykoh then caught a wild Tinkatuff, a wild Gible, and a wild Gabite! ^_^
Scykoh then got into a battle against a Student named Mihai who sent out his Hariyama so Scykoh let me play with this super sumo! ^_^
Then Scykoh got into a battle against a Student named Triana who sent out her Gothorita so Scykoh let me continue to grow! ^_^
Scykoh then caught a wild Salazzle! ^_^
Then Scykoh scared all of us when he took on an *INCREDIBLY STRONG* Lucario!
Unfortunately, he made everyone faint so we were rushed to the nearest Pokémon Center and healed.
Scykoh then caught a wild Houndstone and a wild Glimmet! ^_^
Scykoh then tried again to defeat and capture that *INCREDIBLY STRONG* Lucario! ^_^
*_THIS TIME HE SUCCEEDED!_*
What will happen tomorrow!?
Great catch on that! I did a pokeball only run, i spent ages capturing that! Shame you cant use it just yet though

Wooow great episode! Didn't think Lucario would respawn but you got your second try! Nice!
I don't know if it's all wild tera pokemon, but at least some of them are static encounters, so they will always be the same pokemon, level, and tera type when you encounter them. That Lucario came in clutch for me at the elite 4 after I spent the entire game rotating pokemon in and out of my team to evolve everything and I only had my starter high enough level to actually battle (plus the Lucario and a slightly under leveled Azumarill with an electric tera type apporpriately named "Raiblu" which unfortunately had Thick Fat instead of Huge Hower) and I couldn't use my starter against one of them due to typing so I just wrecked face with level 75 Lucario tera STAB Ice Punch. Luckily I chose Fuecoco so even though he was basically useless against one E4 member at his level he curb stomped literally everything else he saw after that. Guy is so good there apparently have been talks of banning it for nuzlockes, not sure how you would nuzlocke the game and maintain the difficulty that random encounters added.
Seems like cheating really to just use a level 75 Pokémon in game

The Pokémon on the west side aren’t level scaled so I don’t know if you want to venture over there before you get too far🫣
for 24:50 - The game loves to clip wild Pokemon through the Floor for whatever reason.

Wow you've really got your moneys worth with this game! Unfortunately it's making the episodes very tedious. Half hour to go through 1 cave & catch 1 tera mon? Might be a playthrough that's better once it's finished. Can't wait!
My dude I think it’s time to move away from craftee :( he’s just not good enough or being used enough
Yeah, after a few generations of actually usable early bugs, it annoys me that they went back to "we can't have a higher BST than 410! Everything around here must be bad in battles! We DECREE IT!" for Spidops.
I’m sorry to say, but the path you chose for the game is incredibly tedious. You’re not going to have much of anything to do when the main game is over unless you buy DLC. It probably would’ve been better to choose ‘become Pokémon champion’ as your goal. You can catch Pokémon along the way, but still stick to the story. With episodes like these, it’ll take forever for you to finish the story. Don’t take this personally, I’m just saying.
