I didn't get very far into the campaign with Arma 3, it didn't quite grab me as much as previous games in the series. That's partly because I think I've lost a lot of my excitement about games in general and more casual really, couldn't commit as much to Arma 3 generally (in multiplayer especially, there's a lot of downloading of various mods to do and it can be quite complicated) and I didn't like the near-future vehicles and weaponry. I got a fair bit of enjoyment out of it, both in single and multiplayer, but eventually I got stuck in the campaign and gave up. It's too deep a game for me these days, but I was a huge fan of Operation Flashpoint, Arma 1 & 2. Arma 3 is a fantastic sandbox for people to come up with all sorts of brilliant mods, and must be one of the best value games in existence for its longevity. It's interesting that the campaign moves to SE Asia at the end, Altis is a big enough place to make in the first place! Is this the original campaign, or a later one they came up with? It seems like a heck of a lot of work to do (creating the SE Asian islands in addition to Altis). It looks superb.
