Never get tired of watching 380 reviews, was lucky enough to fly BA 380 business late 2021, but as expected Emirates is another level.

Qatar qsuite is another level, but emirates a380 does have some nice perks.

Have to comment that trying to make the most of flying in business or first (rather than just predominantly sleeping…… which happens on some videos) is exactly what I’d do given the rare chance of an upgrade, particularly long haul…. So well done for testing everything out !

I had a free upgrade. Its the first time where I did not sleep for any amount as I was busy exploring everything from the ICE system to the bar, and they keep topping up the sandwiches as I keep munching on them. Just soooo good!!

Great review and flight. Something I can spot it when you starting the trip from your hometown, Vienna, you always take the Railjet to the airport. The only obstacle to enjoy this A380 for me are passport, some health documents, Visa, and money.
I really like the A380. They look cooler than the 747. It’s kinda good to take a nighttime flight, cause really relaxing on a long flight. The interior of the A380 is sorta like being in a building, in the sky. 😃✈️

I agree 2 yrs ago EK didn’t have the amount of ads in between programs and films like they did on my flight this January 2022 I love emirates. In all classes but this did get on my nerves but no major prob really .
the747 upper deck has those storage bins too They might be larger than the one's on A380
Hello David, did the DXB trip on the same plane and same flight time two weeks ago. A little business class ticket correction, Emirates offers 3 business class tickets, the cheapest one DON'T offer limo service neither lounge access anymore, like the upgrade offer, I recived too. Couldn't sleep in economy and had to laugh when you said you were oversleeped even in Business class. Did you get it why the Mobility drink was blue? Cheers
Remembering back in my days of flying this particullar business class from DXB to IAH when i was 14. The seat is super comfy, had some nice features, and great service as well...
excellent review as always. The business class on the A380 is my favorite with the suites, the bar, and the mini-bar. If you book in advance and are a Skywards member, you can actually personalize the minibar to your selections and preference. As you said in the video, the chauffeur service in both Dubai and other countries is a FANTASTIC service (I have used it in the US and Dubai and works great! - Turkish also started providing chauffeur service for business class in the U.S.)
May I ask how you find out what time they pick you up from hotel in Dubai. We have booked it for our BC flight. But can't see what time they will collect us anywhere. Do you get an email closer to the time? We don't fly till August. Thanks Caz

@@manishprakash6860 the preferences come from your skywards profile - in there you can add your preferences and through their they will personalize the minibar; also somewhat depends on your status with them. Additionally, once you get on flight you can let them know and they will personalize it at that time

Those side storage boxes are also featured in the upper deck of some 747-400s. I once flew coach on an Air France jumbo and because of those it felt a bit like economy plus!

Does Emirates serve vegetarian options in A380 business main course lunch/dinner? I only saw meat/sea food options. I would like to request vegetarian option for main course but would like to try breakfast and desserts in my upcoming trip.

Why are the A380s and 737 going away? What airplanes are replacing them? I'm sure the double decker planes will survive
they are not producing a380 and 747 anymore. Emirates will operate them for years to come however without more production eventually they will die out 😔

Great info! Looking to go to Male in 23 and wanted to do business class, but it's up to 7500 round trip. Going to try calling and negotiating since we're a group of four. If not economy it is and hope to get this offer although being with a group might hurt that chance. Hmmm...why am I consumed with drinking at a bar in a plane at 35K feet? Must...happen...

A mini bar generally consists of alcoholic beverages. I don't think having two bottles of waster and a small can of Pepsi makes it a mini bar. Good selling point I suppose.

I've flown EK business numerous times and the mini bar is a joke because you still have to call the flight attendant for ice and a glass...so what's the point 🤔 (And it's the same in first as well.)
I traveled from Dubai to Washington and got a great upgrade offer for business on the Emirates A380. Best 14 hours!!!

We’ve had two of those photos when me and my family traveled to India via dubai in 2013 and again in 2015 to Sri Lanka, only offered it in the dubai to Cochin and colombo with 777s
One very uncomfortable problem with Emirates business class is the window seats where a seated passenger is surrounded by plastic and really boxed in. The aisle seats at least have one open side but those window seats are really uncomfortable.
Why not do a trip report of the Emirates First Class suite on the Boeing 777-300ER

Hello, just wondering if I buy an economy seat, what are the chances of me receiving an email from Emirates to upgrade to business for less than the full price before my departure date? Or is there a sneaky way around getting a lower Emirates business class ticket that you know of, thank you for the videos.
I'm not 100% sure. But in my experience you can only upgrade to the next higher class from the original ticket you purchased.
So if you brought an economy ticket. You would be offered an upgrade for premium economy.
If you brought premium economy, you would then be offered an upgrade for business class.
And finally if you brought business class, you would be offered an upgrade for the first class suites.
But in the end, it depends on how fully booked the flight is, they're not going to offer upgrades if there are passengers paying full price for them. So to increase your odds. I would book a late night flight or early morning flight for the best chance at getting an upgrade offer.

Yes definately is worth it for the 500 euros extra you paid.... for the experience alone is worth it. I agree about those annoying ads before each video. I remember it on Cathay Pacific as well, and super annoying. They detract from the overall experience and should be abandoned.

When you read an aircrafts registration, it comes across a lot better using the phoenetic alphabet.
Not so great if you’re on the aisle. I’m sure it’s narrower than other aircraft and you’ve got people on top of you every time anyone comes down the aisle. Get a proper window seat and it’s good though.

Why are passengers paying for a premium seat with a mini bar forced to drink Pepsi when their preferences is for a Coca Cola product or vice versa (contractual obligations by the airline aside), my point is if I am paying for a higher class fee I should get more relevant choices that I like not what someone else likes… are drinks in the mini fridge cold or not … again I have often experienced hotels saving on electricity by only turning mini fridges on only for confirmed reservations that are entitled for the service; hence, lukewarm drinks in the fridge …

0:10 I so agree! This is why I like Emirates a lot! Over ANY other Airlines!!! Only Emirates can make so many A380s! I also think that all B777s in Emirates Fleet will disappear, because they are not even as luxurious as the A380s. I think one day, we will end up having only Airbus A380s of Emirates. Maybe we might add some Boeing 747s, because those are like, one full lower deck and a partial upper deck. But I don't know yet. What I am quite sure of though, is all B777s are going to disappear one day, and we might only have A380s. What's your opinion?
You’re 100% wrong. Emirates has stated they’re gonna start retiring A380’s around the 2030’s and also the 777 is very sustainable and they’ll be ordering 777X planes so the 777 will live on. Whereas the 747, first off why would emirates order a plane like that, number two, the 747 is being retired by almost all its airlines. And third t he 747 is no longer produced anymore. So your claim is very incorrect.

Enjoyed your report as usual! Just one minor thing, You should have done your intro somewhere where masks were not required. The mask muffled your voice just enough, that it was difficult at times to hear what you were saying. I am assuming that the mask mandates are now being relaxed, which will make things easier! A380s are my favourite plane
A normal person can consume about 1 oz. of alcohol an hour without getting drunk. Russians and Latvians can drink even more. I would sit at the bar for the entire duration of the flight.
Someone reviewed a similar Emirates upper deck business class and complained of a 2 3. 2 seat configuration. Needless to say he came up with a very negative review because he was seated in the middle row of the 3 seat business class seat. Sorry it was on the 747 upper deck.
Nowhere to hang your jacket and I found the seat quite narrow.
For some obscure reason they have this large chrome handle on entry which makes access uncomfortable for me.
Main courses were served in airline economy dishes which I thought very poor and on both legs, Bkk to Dubai , then Dubai to London. I did not enjoy the food.
1st leg staff were great, second leg cocky steward was too big for his boots. I prefer the service on oriental airlines
