Hiking to Blanchard Springs AR

Our hiking group makes two 2-3 day hiking trips twice a year, one in April and one in October/November. In 2024 for our Spring hiking getaway we went to Mountain View Arkansas. We stayed at the Ozark Folk Center which has lodging for all visitors. The accommodations were great. This was our second trip there in 4 years. We decided to go there because we had some members who never experienced the great trails that that area has to offer plus we hiked trails we didn’t hike in the previous trip. On this video you will see one attraction, Blanchard Springs. This spring comes out of the Blanchard Springs caverns , which is a national park. It is located off highway 14 between Mountain View and Yellville , in the lower Buffalo River. At Blanchard Springs there is also a lake, Mirror Lake that has excellent trout fishing and a 2+ mile trail . This was just one of 3 three trails we hiked on our Spring getaway. Next one is in October or November 2024 to the Hot Springs area in Arkansas.
