You don’t need to go Genesis 5 to find the gospel, go to Genesis 3. It’s easier to read and it doesn’t break your head. By reading the gospel it’s easy to infer that the woman’s seed appointed to crush the serpent’s head while simultaneously being bitten is Jesus.

@@duckymomo7935 it isn't a ,"mistranslation", "he", "she" and even "it" are valid translations of the Hebrew. By the way, "The Catholic Church" does not translate anything, the Vulgate was by St Jerome but contrary to myth he didn't translate the Bible into Latin from scratch, he actually took all the Old Latin translations, which dated back to the early 2nd century and updated them, the translation "she will crush your head" came from those old translations and reflected the common Christian understanding of the time

@@tafazzi-on-discord he is referring to the Vulgate and the English translations resulting from it, but "she," is not a "mistranslation", the Hebrew has no pronoun so "she", "he" and even "it" are all valid translations. Catholics and Orthodox tend to prefer "she" to emphasize Mary's role, Protestants tend to prefer "he" to sideline Mary while Jews tend to prey"it" to avoid the implication that Jesus might be the fulfilment of that verse

Maybe you should do some research first about why the british empire changed its position on slavery.
      For example:
*William Wilberforce* (24 August 1759 - 29 July 1833)[1] was a British politician, philanthropist and *leader of the movement to abolish the slave trade.* A native of Kingston upon Hull, Yorkshire, he began his political career in 1780, eventually becoming an independent Member of Parliament (MP) for Yorkshire (1784-1812). *In 1785, he became an evangelical Christian, which resulted in major changes to his lifestyle and a lifelong concern for reform.*

“He was despised and rejected- a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care. Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins! But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us all. He was oppressed and treated harshly, yet he never said a word. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter. And as a sheep is silent before the shearers, he did not open his mouth. Unjustly condemned, he was led away. No one cared that he died without descendants, that his life was cut short in midstream. But he was struck down for the rebellion of my people. He had done no wrong and had never deceived anyone. But he was buried like a criminal; he was put in a rich man’s grave. But it was the Lord’s good plan to crush him and cause him grief. Yet when his life is made an offering for sin, he will have many descendants. He will enjoy a long life, and the Lord’s good plan will prosper in his hands. When he sees all that is accomplished by his anguish, he will be satisfied. And because of his experience, my righteous servant will make it possible for many to be counted righteous, for he will bear all their sins. I will give him the honors of a victorious soldier, because he exposed himself to death. He was counted among the rebels. He bore the sins of many and interceded for rebels.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭53:3-12‬ ‭NLT‬‬
This was written around 700 years before Jesus came into the earth, yet it describes His life perfectly.
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
God loves you so much and showed that by sending His Son to die for us so that we may inherit eternal life. We deserve hell but He gave us heaven through faith in Jesus. He took the punishment we deserved and by putting our faith in Him we can be saved. The Key To Eternal Life:

What I found after much research was this:
    Adam - man
    Seth - appointed or placed
    Enosh - frailty
    Kenan - acquire
    Mahalalel - praise of God
    Jared - he descends
    Enoch - Dedicated, Trained
Methusaleh - One who was sent
Lamech - powerful or to make low
    Noah - rest
So some of it does fit what people are saying based on my research but I do see some liberties taken to make it completely make sense. Either way, I don't really see myself using this as a tool to plant seeds with people. There's plenty of other places to do that.

Matthew Henry in his commentary wrote that Methuselah's name can mean 'he dies, there is a dart,' and 'sending forth' considering his death marks the beginning of the flood, it does indeed mark the beginning of a 'bringing forth' then it could be translated as 'his death shall bring'. Also, considering the obscure origins of these names no one can say with 100% certainty the definitions, even your cited 'expert.'

Methuselah signifies, he dies, or there is a dart, or, a sending forth, namely, of the deluge, which came the very year that Methuselah died. If indeed his name was so intended and so explained, it was fair warning to a careless world, a long time before the judgment came.”

The technical reason for rejecting this is that the name has the letters mem, tav, vav in that order. The root meaning 'death' is mem-vav-tav and regular grammar can conjugate this into a few different forms, such as mawet, mot, mutu, matti, etc...but metu would be outside of this understood structure. So that's why it is assumed to be a different root altogether.

Can’t believe I have to defend God’s word to a fellow „christian brother“.
Serious question: Who are you working for? God? Or the enemy?
Actually we have a slightly different word meaning, which is even better and shows the beautiful hidden message that God put into his Holy Word!
    Adam: Humankind
    Seth: Appointed
    Enosh: mortal
    Kenan: lamentation
Mahalalel: The Shining one of God
    Jared: descends / goes down
Enoch = to INAUGURATE people / to train as TO TEACH someone
Methusela = His Death Shall Bring
    Lamech - For Humiliation
    Noah - rest
You can very easily build the following sentence with it:
Humankind was appointed mortal lamentation, but the shining of God (must be God’s son, right?) shall go down (from heaven to earth, right?) to teach that his death shall bring, for humiliation, rest.
It’s even better!! By humiliating us before God by repenting, our sins are being forgiven!
Here you have THE TOTAL PROOF, that I’m not lying! With sources!!
    The names and their meanings:
    1. Adam = Humankind
Coming directly from the Hebrew word אדם (ʾadam), meaning "man" or "humankind," the name Adam was the name of the first man created in Genesis. Interestingly, in Genesis 1:26, the word אדם (ʾadam) is clearly plural and means "humankind," as the accompanying verbs are plural and two people are created as a result.
    Source: bam.sites.uiowa.edu/hello/adam
    2. Seth = Appointed
    Meaning: Set, Appointed, Foundation
Etymology: From the verb שית (shyt), to set or place firm.
When Eve names Seth she says, "God has APPOINTED (שית) me another offspring..". (Genesis 4:25), and traditionally readers have understood that therefore the name Seth must come from the verb „appointed“ (שית).
    Source: www.abarim-publications.com/Meaning/Seth.html
    3. Enosh = mortal
The name in Hebrew is אנוש (enosh, Strong's #583), meaning "man." This word/name comes from the root אנש (A.N.Sh, Strong's #605) meaning "MORTAL" in the sense of weak and sick.
    Source: www.ancient-hebrew.org/names/Enosh.htm
    4. Kenan = lamentation
Noun קינה (qina) denotes a kind of sad poem; a DIRGE OR LAMENTATION, which both had to be fabricated and could, presumably, pierce a person's soul like a spear (which is an obvious Biblical figure of speech; see Luke 2:35). The denominative verb קונן (qonen) means to do a dirge, which could be either to chant or compose one.
The name Kenan may even be construed to come specifically from the verb קונן (qonen), to chant a dirge (Ezekiel 27:32, 1 Samuel 1:17), from the noun קינה (qina), LAMENTATION or sad poem which is sung (Jeremiah 7:19, Ezekiel 2:10).
    Source: www.abarim-publications.com/Meaning/Adam.html
    5. Mahalalel = The Shining one of God
In Hebrew, this name is written as מהללאל (ma-ha-la-ley-eyl, Strong's #4111) and is a combination of two words, מהלל and אל. The root of מהלל is הלל (ha-lal, Strong's #1984) and means "to shine." This can be the shining of a light such as from a flame or the moon, but figuratively the shining of a person’s character such as his fame or pride. From this root comes the word מהלל (ma-ha-lal, Strong's #4110) meaning "shining" or "ONE WHO SHINES."
The second word is אל (eyl, Strong's #410), which literally means "mighty one," but is often transliterated as "El." The meaning of the name מהללאל can be "The shining of El or "The shining one of El."
    Source: www.ancient-hebrew.org/names/Mahalaleel.htm
    'El' is hebrew for 'God'!
    The Shining one of God!
    6. Jared = descends / goes down
The name Jared comes from the verb ירד (yarad) a very common verb meaning TO GO DOWN, DESCEND, decline.
    Source: www.abarim-publications.com/Meaning/Jared.html
    7. Enoch = to INAUGURATE people / to train as TO TEACH someone
    Meaning
    Inaugurated, Trained
    Etymology
From the root חנך (hanak), to inaugurate or train.
    Source: www.abarim-publications.com/Meaning/Enoch.html
    8. Methusela = His Death Shall Bring
Meaning: When He Is Dead It Shall Be Sent, Man Of A Javelin
Etymology: From (1) the noun מת (mat), man, or מות (mut), death, and (2) the verb שלח (shalah), to send or let go.
For a meaning of the name Methuselah, Jones' Dictionary of Old Testament Proper Names reads מות (mut) for the first part and translates the whole name with When He Is Dead It Shall Be Sent.
‚To send‘ would be the same as ‚to bring‘
    Source: www.abarim-publications.com/Meaning/Methuselah.html
    9. Lamech = For Humiliation
    Meaning:
    Strong Man or FOR HUMILIATION
    Etymology:
From an otherwise unused root that means to be strong and robust.
From (1) the particle ל (le), to or towards, and (2) the verb מוך (muk), be low.
    Source: www.abarim-publications.com/Meaning/Lamech.html
    10. Noah = rest
    Meaning: Rest
Etymology: From the verb נוח (nuah), to rest.
The verb נוח (nuah) means to come to rest or to cease interference. Noun נחת (nahat) means quietness or a quiet attitude. Noun ניחח (nihoah) or ניחוח (nihoah) means a quieting or soothing. Noun הנחה (hanaha) means a giving of rest. Noun מנוח (manoah) describes a place or condition of rest. Noun מנוחה (menuha) or מנחה (menuha) means resting place, or quietness.
    Source: www.abarim-publications.com/Meaning/Noah.html
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Here you have it:
Humankind was appointed mortal lamentation, but the shining of God (must be God’s son, right?) shall go down (from heaven to earth, right?) to teach that his death shall bring, for humiliation (repentance before God), rest.
Absolutely perfect and true hidden message in Genesis 5!

In case anyone’s interested in praying for our Christian leaders/shepherds/ministries/TH-cam channels like Inspiring Philosophy:
16 prayer points you can pray for them:
    1
You can pray that they will always have a good walk with God (that they will not forget their first love), that God will bless their daily private Bible reading and prayer life, and that they will have good sound doctrine.
    2
You can pray that they will be full of the Holy Spirit and that God will bless their ministries so that many more people will come to faith in Jesus for God’s glory, and that they will feed God’s sheep and disciple them properly.
    3
You can pray that they will be humble, that they will remember how many Christian leaders in the past have fallen, and that they will have a very healthy fear of the Lord.
    4
You can pray that God will protect them and the ministry God has given them from:
    Pride
    Love of fame
    Love of money
Desire for the approval of people rather than the approval of God
    Being worried about offending people
    Compromising God’s Word
    Sexual temptation
    Demonic attacks
Persecution (from outside the Church and inside the Church)
    5
You can pray for their PHYSICAL HEALTH and that God will heal all their health problems.
    6
You can pray for their MENTAL HEALTH. Pastors and Christian workers often have stress and battle discouragement and depression. Please God touch them and heal them of all mental and emotional problems and distress.
They can also sometimes be hurt by the people they serve or by other Christian leaders - so we can pray that this won’t happen but that if it does that God will heal these wounds and strengthen His servants to forgive each other and that God will restore unity for His Glory.
    7
You can pray that God will bless and protect their families.
Satan often attacks Christian workers by attacking their loved ones.
So you can pray that their family members will all have a good walk with God, have good sound doctrine, that God will protect them all from demonic attacks, that God will also bless and protect their physical and mental health, heal them of all infirmities, and that God will bless all their family relationships so that there is peace and love in their families.
You can pray that God especially blesses and protects all areas and parts of their marriages, so that they will not be tempted to look elsewhere.
Also please God bless their marriages especially so that they can be a model and example for other Christians.
    8
You can pray that God will abundantly bless and protect the finances of the ministries and also the personal finances of God’s servants (especially finances needed for health or medical expenses).
You can pray that they always have abundant finances so that they can always do every good work God wants them to do.
    9
You can pray that God blesses and protects the relationships between Christian co-workers in ministries - so that no jealousy or strife or bitterness takes root. That they will all have Christian unity and that their focus will be on God getting all the glory and rejoice in any and all work for God.
    10
You can pray that God prevents any technical or logistical or legal or any type of problems for their ministry, but if they have any such issues/problems that God will help them resolve/fix and totally solve and remove these problems.
    11
If it’s an internet (e.g. TH-cam) ministry you can pray that God will help the videos spread on those platforms and get many views and that God will use the videos to bring many people to repentance and faith in Jesus.
    12
You can pray that God will help Christian leaders be good shepherds of Jesus’ sheep and continue to feed Jesus’ sheep, and that they will not only convert people, but also disciple new converts so that they can grow and develop and mature in a healthy and supported way.
    13
You can pray that God will give them the heart of a servant.
    14
You can pray that God gives them wisdom and helps them and powerfully guides them when making all decisions and plans.
    15
You can pray that if they make mistakes or sin that God will grant them humility and repentance and restore them.
    16
You can pray that more Christians will pray consistently for Christian leaders/pastors/shepherds/workers/ministries.
    ***********************

      ----------
      15
You can pray that we will have more of God's love in our hearts for the lost so that we will not be afraid to share the Gospel, but that God's love in us will override any fears and make it automatic that we share the gospel in love.
If there was a frozen lake, you wouldn't want to go swimming in it.
But if a small child fell in, you would automatically dive in to save them.
We can pray for love that will cause us to act.
      -------------------------
"Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful."

While there has been misunderstanding with this concept of the names of the Noah's genealogy talking about christ before he was born, there is some truth here when it comes to the concept of Jesus begin predicted and ordained since the beginning. For instance if you go to the Torah or just the old testament and you look at it in it's accurate Hebrew translation, the first verse of the text does spell out Christ's mission. Because every letter in hebrew has a meaning. The first word in the text in Hebrew roughly translates to "The son of god will be destroyed by the fathers works/hand on his mark/cross."
This stands out to me because it reminds me of the text in Isaiah. Specifically Isaiah 46:9-10; "Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure."
So there some truth to the fact that God declared Christ coming before he came. I do think we should look into the meaning of the names in Noah's genealogy though. It would interesting to understand what they mean as well.

Nowhere in the letters of first word of the text can it be translated as “The Son of God is destroyed by his own hand on the cross.”
      Bereshith beyt-resh-aleph-shin-yud-tav =
House-head-chief-tooth-hand-mark. There's no "son" in any letter, ntm G-d, destroy, or cross. This nonsense started with Jeff Benner. Professional scholarship does not support his views. I really don't know why Christians feel some need to find some hidden something to validate their beliefs. It seems to me, if it is truly valid, then the plain written text in its plain simple meaning and truth should be more than sufficient. It doesn't serve anyone by making up such things that really aren't there.

@@disguisedcentennial835 I'm talking about if you spell out the symbolic meaning of every letter in Hebrew of the word for 'beginning', you can derive the sentence I said in the previous comm. @@Axer01250 Even with how you put it, the letters dont make sense. Beyt does mean house and Resh does mean head, but it is more than just each individual letter. Many words in Hebrew are made up of two Hebrew letters. For instance the letters bety-resh together make the word 'bar', which can roughly means 'son'. The letters alpeh-shin together can roughly mean 'fire' or 'destruction'. That's why in the torah the burning Bush in Hebrew is called the aish sanai. Aish, meaning fire, coming from putting aleph and shin together. And while aleph does mean chief, it only means that because not only is it the first letter in the Hebrew alphabet, it also represents God as being the first being. The word Elohim begins with and Aleph, which as you said means chief. Also yod-tau together roughly translates to mean 'time' as well.
So what the word Bereshith really means when you spell it out is this. Beyt-resh:"The Son(of god)", Alpeh-shin: "Will be destroyed", Yod-Tau: "At the appointed time." So it seems we were both wrong, because this is what is actually means. Thanks for calling me out, I wouldn't have noticed that before.

@@sonyyung5510 Thank you for the pleasant dialog. You initially stated the correlation between individual letters. Combining two letters together to form the word you want is cheating. We can combine any two letters together to get the text to say virtually anything. That is not a valid methodology. Secondly, Ben is the hebrew word for son. Bar is Babylonian Aramaic. So additionally, now we are allowing to cross over language boundaries as well? I'm sorry but this is a far stretch, that really has no linguistic foundation. It holds no weight even in a PaRDeS interpretation. This method doesn't even hold true to the rules of traditional hebrew gematria. It's really more of an eisegesis than anything. I'm more curious as to why Christians have to make, and hold on to such claims to prove some sort of pre-existing christ figure, if it's not already pointed to in the plain text of scripture itself? Shouldn't that be enough?

Looking into it myself, I got the impression that they're more names referring to the trajectory of Cain and Seth based on how they represented improper and proper worship. Cain's Enoch comes first but Seth's Enoch comes after Praising God and someone going "down." Jared compares to Irad which might specifically be talking about Eridu suggesting God only gives knowledge after we humble ourselves in worship of Him while Cain represents Man taking Knowledge for himself according to himself, eventually abandoning God and seeking divine meaning your own way until you are brought down and scattered. Jabal, Jubal and Tubal-Cain etymologically all having the same base of Yod-Beth-Lamed that relate to flowing (sound from a horn, nomads over a region, water in a river) and "Tubal-Cain" likely meaning some kind of refinement, perfection or seasoning of Cain. So the ultimate fruit of Cain is being washed away in the Flood. The tradition of Naamah as Noah's Wife even suggesting her name of Pleasantness showing God's mercy even toward Cain by preserving the Good of his violent brood on the Ark.
Then again I also think most of the big Genesis ages might be "reverse Gamatria" considering how Hebrew Numbers were just the Alphabet with different values. So convert the huge age to the Hebrew alphanumeric rendering and then see what the semantic range of that "word" is

They are not getting the meaning from the name in those instances but the root words like Methuselah or Methushelach; Math: Male, man from Mathay: When? Shelach: missile, weapon, sprout from Shalach: To send, appoint. But the Methu might be from the same root as moth (to die, death) so methu shalach death will send or appoint aka death will bring. There is a thought that the mek in lamek might be muk meaning to be low or depressed aka despair. Enosh: Man, mankind from Anash properly to be mortal. Anash: To be weak, sick aka mortal. Kenan or Qenan from the same as qayin: spear which is from the same as qinah: lamentation aka sorrow. Mahalalel: praise of God. Mahalal: praise from Halal: to be boastful, to praise aka Blessed. El: God, in pl. gods. Enoch from Chanok from Chanak: to train up, dedicate aka teaching. Seth from Shith: To put, set aka appointed.

I just did a quick search and easily verified ALL of them! This is not the only "messaging" found in the Torah. Check out what has been discovered using the pictographic meaning of the paleo-hebrew characters used in the original manuscript of the Torah. The language was designed for transmitting hidden messages! One astonishing example is the tetragrammaton YHWH. The pictographic meaning of the four letters forms a sequence "hand", behold, nail, behold.. The very sacred name of God describes the nails and the hands of His Son sacrificed on the cross!! The Gospel is in His name!!!

The translations do seem to pan out. However, my issue with this comes from the fact that the word order appears to be wrong.
Biblical Hebrew uses a sentence structure of verb-subject-object (SVO) word order, whereas English, and 42% of world languages, use subject-verb-object (SVO). For example, Genesis 5:24 transliterated reads: "Walked Enoch with God and he was not for took him God."
As a side note, Modern Hebrew does follow SVO.
If this was a hidden message written by a Biblical Hebrew author to a Biblical Hebrew audience, wouldn't we expect to see a hidden message using the word order of that language? If so, we would expect to see the genealogy look something like: Seth, Adam, Enosh, Kenan, Jared, Enoch, Mahalel, Methuselah, Lamech, Noah.
If this is instead to be a hidden message by a Biblical Hebrew author to a future, later audience (to which I would say "Well-played!"), I would find the notion, while not impossible, highly improbable.
Also, for fun, I tried this with a subject-object-verb (SOV) word order, the most used at 45% of world languages, and found I had to divide Methuselah into its two parts in order to make the sentence conform properly. This gave me a genealogical list of: Adam, Enosh, Kenon, Seth, Mahalel, Enoch, Jared, Meth, Lamech, Noah, Selah.
Now, granted, I am not a scholar of this subject in any sense and all this is what I have gleaned from a few hours of internet search. So, I would be most grateful for the thoughts of any actual Biblical Hebrew scholars.
I would also be most interested if this "hidden message" also appears, and is as clear, in any other languages aside from English. Similar to my point above, if a hidden massage is written to people beyond the immediate audience, then it should be able to be read by people of multiple languages, not just one.

Hello, I am a new Christian and I have a very important question. When did the doctrine of the trinity become accepted as Christian theology? I have heard that this one early church father named Polycarp wasn’t a trinitarian and yet he was a deciple of John the apostle. Could this mean that Christians originally didn’t accept the trinity? I know that Christians early on believe the divinity of Christ, but I’m not so sure about the trinity.

Trinity in simple terms means three persons in One God. So, trinity is clearly in the Bible.

Hey IP, I have a question for you. If there were humans before Adam and Eve, as well as humans that were outside of their lineage, then how does this not affect the doctrine that Adam’s sin affected all of humanity (original sin)? Because since these other humans were not related to Adam they wouldn’t have inherited Adam’s sin. Therefore, there would be humans with no original sin living alongside humans with original sin.
I've wrestled with this question and can't find or come up with a satisfying answer.

    • @blusheep2
      @blusheep2 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

I think the answer would contain these points, at least:
1)"Where there is no Law, there is no sin." - So original sin isn't something that is passed down through a blood line.
2)Adam and Eve were chosen as man's first representatives or "priest kings" and therefore their representation imputed the curse on all. Because of them, no man has access to the tree of life. Loss of that access is why we die according to Gen. 3:22
3)Not only did sin come into the world but also Law. For the first time God's will was known and as time went on that knowledge not only spread but mankind's sin did as well.
I don't know if that is the full answer but my guess is that his answer would contain some of these points.

Well this one is very disappointing if this is not true, IK alot of Christians will believe the 1st thing they hear online without researching it 1st, but thats why we must go to The Early Apostolic Church Fathers who learned from the Apostles themselves, & find the truth on the traditions of the early church.
Then see if those traditions were held by other church fathers after them.
Bc alot of protestant Christians dnt even kno when the books of the Bible were canonized, but its the traditions that makes this possible.
As some Christians will say why do I need the church fathers when i have the Bible 2day, 🤦🏻‍♂️ its bc of those traditions of the church fathers is the only reason we have the same Bible 2day.
So basically we must go back, & see if this was even taught in the early church, & not take Michael Jones word for it .

      The First Vatican Council declared:
“The books the church holds to be sacred and canonical not because she subsequently approved them by her authority after they had been composed by unaided human skill, nor simply because they contain revelation without error, but because being written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, they have God as their author, and were as such committed to the church.”

Then you can study the 4th watch. In the Roman clock, the night is split into 4 watches of the night. 6-9pm, 9-12am, 12-3am, 3-6am.
3am signifies the morning sacrifice, when the messiah would be resurrected from the dead.
Proverbs 8:17 - I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.
Here are some biblical events that happen during the 4th watch.
Jacob wrestled with God and met Him face to face just before entering into his destiny as Israel. Genesis 32:22-31
Moses led the Israelites across the Red Sea Exodus 14:25-26
God is looking for Samuel with a 3am wake-up call saying, "What is it Lord, here am I for you called me," 1 Samuel 3:5.
Where is God my Maker, who gives songs in the night’” (Job 35:10)
Peter and Jesus walk on water, Matthew 14:25-26
The angels appear to the shepherds in the field to announce the birth of the savior. Luke 2:8-14
The bridegroom woes His bride in the night hours, Song of Solomon, Matthew 25:1-13
“And in the middle of the night a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’
The women went to the tomb in the very early morning of the first day of the week. Lk 24
Jesus is resurrected from the dead, Matthew 28:1
Jesus 2nd coming "like a thief in the night
I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.” Rv 22:16
Men testify of being woken up consistently at 3am exactly. Not 3:01, not 2:59. As in my own experience also, this is an urgent call to prayer, and fasting sleep (waking early for giving thanks and intercession) once a week is also biblical in the new testament.
So 3pm the evening sacrifice - Jesus dies
3am the morning sacrifice - Jesus alive again
Now go read Genesis 1 again. Who is standing there in the midst of creation for the first 6 days?
Notice the wording. It is not 'day and night', it is not 'morning and evening'
It is exactly 'evening and morning' from the beginning.
"There was evening, and there was morning, the first day" and repeated through the following 5 days of creation.

    1. Adam (אָדָם) - "man" or "humanity"
    2. Seth (שֵׁת) - "appointed" or "placed"
    3. Enosh (אֱנוֹשׁ) - "mortal" or "frailty"
    4. Kenan (קֵינָן) - "sorrow" or "lamentation"
    5. Mahalalel (מַהֲלַלְאֵל) - "praise of God"
    6. Jared (יֶרֶד) - "descent" or "shall come down"
    7. Enoch (חֲנוֹךְ) - "dedicated" or "teaching"
    8. Methuselah (מְתוּשֶׁלַח) - "when he dies, it shall be sent" or "his death shall bring"
    9. Lamech (לֶמֶךְ) - "despairing" or "hope"
    10. Noah (נֹחַ) - "rest" or "comfort"
If you disagree copy the Hebrew names and paste them into a translator or Google you will see he's wrong.

It honestly doesn't make sense when you're trying to debunk stuff like this. I mean so long as it doesn't contaminate the central message of the bible in any way, what is the point?
And the source is just one scholar out of many and the fact that some of the names didn't even have meanings means he also is limited.
Different scholars have different views alright. You pick this side doesn't necessarily mean the other person is wrong. You could look into it carefully and seek out how they came to that conclusion rather than just debunking it with the 1 book you've there.
    ❤❤love your videos though

Why is it not a good explanation that the new testament was just written to reflect the old testament and to create Christianity where people believed in God yet respected the government? Not to sound conspiratorial

    • @earlygenesistherevealedcos1982
      @earlygenesistherevealedcos1982 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Who did the writing? Someone connected to the government? Then why did the government persecute the Christians for believing in their conspiracy? If not the government, why would someone write something that would help people respect the government?
And if they wanted people to respect the government, why make Jesus above government?

As if governments are Christian, Christianty has, wait for it.... Separation of Church and State! Ever heard of separation of mosque and state? Nope, because if you want a religion where all these things are explicitly intermingled you go to Islam. Try to be more precise next time.

IP, your back must hurt from carrying christianity on your back.
At this point, you have helped a lot of people in search for truth. Over the years, these evangelists and priests haven't really decisively answered my questions until I found your channel and theistic philosophy. And I really thank you for that.
I really don't know understand why the vatican or the pope hire people like you and help christians in the defense of biblical doctrine, you should be much more popular. People are so eager to watch the pope on his balcony rather than these kinds of content and strengthen their faith.

I feel like you did not do your research because none of that was true. It literally depends on where you got the definitions of the meanings of the names. A popular google search will NOT give you the TRADITIONAL hebrew meanings. That's the big difference. Every culture has different names and different meanings to names. The meanings of the names are still the same as "man is appointed mortal sorrow blah blah blah" but I am open minded to the possibility I am wrong. I just don't buy that its not.
