Great overview. I've been looking at Yamaha synths recently and I'm drawn to the montage m8x but it's pretty pricey. Still trying to figure out the main differences between the ModX , Genos and montage models
The main difference is MONEY! I known someone who bought the new Montage and he's had quite a few issues with it. As I said the MODX+ is a great starting point and has exactly the same AWM2 and FM-X sound engines as the old Montage. Considering you can get this for under £1000 now it's a no brainer in my opinion.
