About MLB.com:
Commissioner Allan H. (Bud) Selig announced on January 19, 2000, that the 30 Major League club owners voted unanimously to centralize all of Baseball's internet operations into an independent technology company. Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM) was formed and charged with developing, building and managing the most comprehensive baseball experience available on the internet. In August 2002, MLB.com streamed the first-ever live, full length MLB game when the Texas Rangers and New York Yankees faced off at Yankee Stadium. Since that time, millions of baseball fans around the world have subscribed to MLB.TV, the live video streaming product that airs every game in HD to nearly 400 different devices. MLB.com also provides an array of mobile apps for fans to choose from, including At Bat, the highest-grossing iOS sports app of all-time. MLB.com features a stable of club beat reporters and award-winning national columnists, the largest contingent of baseball reporters under one roof, who deliver over 100 original articles every day. MLB.com also offers extensive historical information and footage, online ticket sales, official baseball merchandise, authenticated memorabilia and collectibles and fantasy games.

But the real question is did the umpires give Terry a shot
Doubtful. Their ass would be in the jackpot if they did.
It would had been the wrong time to do it
This made my night
That’s the situation
Nopee
Pfft.... I love how they're calling Bruce Willis "Bob Melvin."
also, that's chip hale
Hahaa
I have to ask why was Joe West with Jerry Layne's Crew for?
it was a 2 game series, and Joe was coming back from vacation waiting for his crewmates to get back from the west in 2 days
I was at this game
As a major Mets fan I am missing those beautiful cream uniforms
My authentic personalized jersey is cream, but the white with pinstripes is a better look.
Who's the Crew Chief of this crew? Layne, West, and Culbreth are all Crew Chiefs
West based on seniority. I’m guessing that two of the umps had been doing replay review and were giving two other crew members a night off or a chance to man the replay room.
In the event of multiple chiefs, the senior one takes charge. You could also have a situation (although rare, it happened last season) of a "rookie" being a chief with 3 AAA call-ups. (MLB service clock starts the year an umpire is promoted to full-time MLB status, not when he is an AAA call-up umpire.)
Jerry Layne looks like a chill person
Jerry is/was a pretty good ump.
@@BornToPun7541 He was funny
This guy ain't Bob Melvin, its chip hale
Okay let's go over the Ground Rules, you can't leave first until you chug a beer, any man scoring has to chug a beer, you have to chug a beer at the top of all odd-numbered Innings, oh, and the 4th Inning is the Beer Inning.
We know how to play softball 🙄
I think this is the game where joe west got hit with a faul ball
Joe was U1 here, it could have been.
As manager was dancing to turn it on again
Why go over the rules with Joe West? That guy is by far the worst ump in baseball.
We're just going to act like Angel Hernandez doesn't exist?
@@rylandspencer they are equally as unqualified to be an umpire.
Joe West after there done talking..What???
You guys can say Joe West is a bad umpire I think he’s the best because he actually pays attention and he’s reasonable
Joe bacame a MLB ump at the age of 23! He came in when umps ruled with an iron first and the players respected them. Keep on going Joe!
Given he has umpired the most games in MLB history and the fact that he came back after the mass resignations, he's certainly a reasonable umpire
That is why I prefer cleaner ball parks. Sure they are less pretty and some would say boring but there are fewer quirks and less questions about plays. At no point should a ball get lost or stuck in the field of play or should a fan be able to reach into the field of play, especially over the home run line. It should never come down to an opinion of what side of a line a ball touched to determine a home run or not. Either it went over a wall or it didn't.
No, like you said thats boring. I prefer different ball parks.
What?!?!
This is what makes ballparks so unique unlike other sports where every dimension has a standard. Thats what people love so much
Then you wonder why MLB a major leagues TH-cam account have less subscribers than 3 new yotubers with zero idea what to post. MELVIN COLLINS Really? The guy is in baseball since almost a toddler to this age and still MLB call him by the wrong name. TERRY COLLINS give the guy a shot for God sakes
There is a comma in between Melvin and Collins. So they are separating the two last names...
Read the title properly...
