Man this sequence is really awesome 😎 prop to the catcher and pitcher for that matter. They were just out there playing around not taking themselves too seriously. Just a slice of baseball. Some nice pitching, a slugged hit, and a funny end to a scoreless inning. They can do more of that, pretty cool stuff.
The batter only sees the pitcher shaking off the pitch. So if the batter had a pitch in mind which would be the most obvious choice then and there, now he thinks they are going with something different. And then they still go with that exact most obvious choice, but already got the batter expecting something else. Just intended to mess up the batter's pitch guessing a bit more.
Stop showing the ump cam during the live at bats, it should be for replays only. It’s very difficult for the viewer to jump between the two perspectives and accurately assess if a ball is a strike or not. I don’t know why national broadcasts have to make things so complicated. We’re tuning in to watch the game not your broadcast. That’s why local broadcasts are vastly superior. The producers know they’re simply conveying the action on the field not making it about themselves.
Lol. You are the only person that didn't enjoy this ONE inning from a different perspective. Also, every single local broadcast brings on guests, or mics up a player, or something else in each game. Maybe you should mute the TV and listen to the radio.
I can’t believe they talked to him when he was catching
100% RETARDED. Somebody’s going to make a CRITICAL ERROR doing this one day soon and YOU WILL NEVER SEE IT AGAIN.
Ridiculous. Let the players play the game
@@ryandouglas8382 he agreed to do it
A catcher mic’d up this is gold
I always wants to know what the players say to the ump after a called ball or strike.

Yeah, we got to see a variety of outcomes from their perspective.
Really shows how tough it is to hit MLB pitches. Those things are bullets switching directions in mid air
This is so cool 💯
I kept pressing square but nothing was happening until I finally jacked one off the wall
Robo ump with a proper camera set up back there would be amazing
They need to abandon all other pitching camera angles in favor of the umpire cam. Its so much better
Variety would be really nice.
I love this. As a catcher all through LL thru HS this amazes me.
3:22 - How in the world is that pitch not a strike?
It looks different on camera than in real life
it was low but it looks different on the camera
Very interesting!
Can someone explain the 'shaking' and how it gets in the batters head? Not familiar with that. Just curious.

The problem is that Adonis Garcia didn’t wanna see him that why they almost fight in the playoffs
i wanna know im 14 at catcher catching 80mph and my hand goes black every off season i wanna know how tf it not hurt for him
His glove probably cost 3x what yours cost. They have silicone pads for your glove hand. Have you tried those?
Can't understand a word he's saying. Nice idea though.
Thanks for choosing a catcher who speaks English as his 1st language

Bring ENGLISH back to the MLB
What a garbage comment
