Thanks for all the hard work getting new content to the masses. I really appreciate your eclectic choices in music compared to the standard fare of screaming metal music on other car sites. One question is the food still good at the Voyager Cafe? I used to spend a lot of time at Mojave soaking in the aircraft. Especially in the 80's and 90's. Thanks again for everything you guys do for us!
Just thought i needed to comment I'm an 81 year old guy who originally found you on cable. I know nothing about fabrication or design but found myself mesmerized by one your talents and two more importantly your and Jamie's personality's i was very pleased to find and join your utube channel. Thanks for your postings.
I am a master woodworker, a bit, he is the ONLY other person I have seen do this. I will NEVER miss one of their posts! My human soul needs this ......
Ian is DEFINITELY one of the most talented fabricator, sculpture and custom automotive creators in the business. HE TRULY LOVES WHAT HE CREATES. I am 79 years old going on 80.I have had hands on experience with automotive work but not even close to his caliber of PURE GENIUS. I catch every episode I possibly can. PLEASE KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT WORK. ❤❤❤😮
This is another one of my favorite builds that Ian is working on, I'm following this one from the beginning to the very end of his amazing craft, I don't want to miss any episodes
It's absolutely amazing how Ian can fabricate all these compound shapes...while creating such beautiful outcomes ! IF i had the money, I'd call him and order my own "38 Cadillac Roadster"
I love your sarcastic humor! Great work, I’m a model builder and use similar techniques but I never take myself too seriously which is just the way you seem….
Correction, not TV Magic, Jamie Magic! Love the editing and Kramps style music! Totally stealing his hammer bending trick! Always pick up a few tricks watching Ian! 😊👍🙏🙏
Thanks!! Great Video! Ya know... they keep getting better as y'all grow, move, and evolve. that's part of the fun in watching. Thanks again!! You Crazy Kids, today....
Your channel is the best out of all custom car channel on audio quality when grinding and banging noises are so loud on other channels. Y'all keep them low so it doesn't blow out my ears
The continuing saga of Jamie and Ian, i simply love your show! its the highlight of my week ! ive seen everything you have out.. i think you and Bad Chad should do a build together. that would be epic!!!! Ian i wish i had your skills and knowledge and Jamie is wonderful .. talent with the editing and camera work...
Ian working with Mauvais garçon? On the one hand, we see calm, and aesthetic research, and on the other, we see agitation and disorder... Marriage is impossible!
Hi Ian and Jamie, I’m watching this episode now. I noticed today for the first time that when Ian was doing the Shrinking and Stretching I could see the metal movement. I never understood what was happening before but because Jamie was giving us a point of view shot I was able to actually see it move! You guys are Awesome I Love your Videos! 🔥🚗🤴🏻&👸🏻💯
Fascinating! As a self taught amateur who keeps my and my friends rusty wrecks on the road by making these types of repairs in the rusty prone British climate . I find your videos unbelievably useful.
I was just wondering the steps it took to perfect the shrinker and stretcher devices. Someone really had a insight into the movement of metal. It is amazing to watch Ian determine the point to shrink or stretch to move a point.
Dang, I wouldn't have the patience you have Ian to weld a bunch of bits together and have it look "like factory". Great work and I'm anxious to see the final result.
Good Morning Jamie & Ian, from the peoples republic of Illinois 👽 What a great way to start my day before headin out to the HOT-Shop to work. I still have a shrinker & stretcher from building parts for my 1940 Willy coupe. Love this channel & all you two do! George The GlassMan. 👽👽👽👽
Hey Buddy, ya just made my day. Finished my food, poured a glass of relax!.sat down to watch the box. Then it happened, da notification ding, Quick glance and (as mentioned) ya made my day .....talk about timing, WOW, THANKS AGAIN MATEY. Off with the box,up with the legs. ❤❤❤
First of all Jamie you are a rock star on the camera and the music and editing. Secondly Ian you are a genius, what ever the minds eye can see you can achieve. Love the TH-cam channel and no more suits to answer to. Just a couple doing what they want when they want. Love it, love it, love it! Keep on keeping on!
Ian! I always 'stand tuned' for your next vids. Ian, Jamie hey!. Another awesome vid 'Mr Fabricator' The way you mould bend work that steel. Fantastic to watch, next please. Cheers
Great job Ian, for some reason this was a real fun one to watch. I was fascinated to see the steps taken to working the door reconstruction. Only 80 deg, here in Yuma today Yay!!!
Absolutely amazing! It was like watching it melt right into place!👌🏻LMAO😂😂 on the upside down dash! I think a lot of us were saying flip it, because of the contour of the bottom of the dash and the hood? But, there’s no way it would look as good as it does if you flip it! It looks Binga Banga!!👌🏻 Good stuff!!
My brain is tired, the input of this MASTER course of common sense and a lifetime of experience is far more than I expected. Ian, your skills and mostly, character, make me love you two even more. ....... Seriously, thank you!
Awesome work as always, loving the dash the right way up!, I like how you jump from one vehicle to the next keeping it fresh and interesting. Cheers from Australia
I'm an old guy and watching that door fitment today(which was good) brought back memories of the days when I used to watch Boyd Coddington and he always insisted on using a paint stirring stick thickness to quage all of his body gaps. Memories.
Jamie I seen How you Swept the Trimmings Out of the Way while He was Shrinking and Stretching I Love how you 2 work as a TEAM and it is Very Important to Make Sure cut Off Sharp Stuff is Taken CAre of Immediately it would be Bad for 1 of the Dogs to Get some of that in it's Paw LOVE you Guy's
G’day Ian and Jani watching you fabricate that door jam is incredible how you are able to know in your mind how your going to do it when to me it just looks bits of metal and those pieces you have just tacked on will become beautifully finished off. It’s amazing how you go about it I’m 67 yo and have never seen a restoration like this and always wondered how it’s done, it just looks to me like rusted cut metal , I love watching you work it out it’s a pure art form anyway thank you for showing how you do it. Kind regards John
Great video, thank you for taking all the time and effort putting these together, a lot of us enjoy and appreciate it. Please don't let the comments from the key board hero's get to you, they are the few... your fans are the many...
Outstanding work today from both, the fabricator and the camera lady. My question today is have any of your friends such as Johnny jalopy, Tom or Don seen your new shop? Thanks guys
Love watching your videos. A video was recommended to me For a video from HHwheels And I didn't know that you were one of the fabricators for a show called car warriors where you helped built the SkullClops Corvette apparently they found it and they're going to restore it small world.
You are a pleasure to watch and an inspiration to others. Keep up the amazing creations you do. I look forwards to watching every episode. From Jason pugh in south Wales in the UK LIVE THE DREAM BOTH AND ENJOY
In order to create uniform gaps on a door, the closed door must be galvanized all around, then the door is cut out with a knife. After that, the gaps are perfectly uniform! This method was used in the 1960s when building the VW Beetle in Wolfsburg!
I really wish that you had made a metal dashboard scaled up to match the dimensions of the Cadillac using the instruments and A/C ducts from the fiberglass dash.
Pre show comment - this is to prove that CJ-DJ and The Fab Man are so good that an advance comment will be as relevant as a post video post. Thank you both for sharing!!! BTW I’m watching this at 2:22 am Oregon time on Saturday 10/19/2034
So glad to hear you admit that the dashboard is upside down... even if you were being sarcastic. Lol. Keep up rhe good work. Loving it... Well most of it.
You started cutting and I didn't know where you were going. To the average guy, you think about the way cars are made today. But you always make it happen !!!
Great work as always! A helpful reminder. Seen the hinges were sagging on the Caddy. As well you know that once the hinges get replaced or re-bushed, the bodywork will change..
