Have watched with a great pleasure! Emily's an amazing opening-hearts and minds energy and I really love her (not being a Lumix myself at all lol Happy you both enjoyed the lens and thanks for a fantastic reportage:)
I've always loved wide angle and i'm really tempted with this one. I have to 7-14mm f4 for my M43 gear, so i reckon i'd like this one on the full frame. Nice to see you and Emily collaborating. Looks like you had some fun 🙂
I have sold my Sigma 16-28mm F2.8 for the Lumix 14-28mm. It's wider, cheaper, even lighter. It is fully sealed against dust and water. It has Macro-capabilities. Both lenses have a great image quality. But the Lumix has more to offer for me and I do not bother about less speed.
@@hhankx I am still using both. Different tools for different jobs but I think Lumix quality is just that slightly better. This can be clearly seen between Sony and Lumix footage when I was filming myself in this video
@@PavSZ oh for sure, but I don't mind switching for that faster aperture!...plus completing the full Lumix S prime set feels like a personal goal at this point 😂. Cheers Pav
About the comparison with the sigma 16-28mm : Lumix is noticibly wider, and weather proofed. Sigma is brighter, smaller dof (can do a nice 16mm landscape in low light, and shoot a very nice 24mm 2.8 mid-shot with shallow dof). Anyway the one thing that's keeping me away from any of these lenses is actually the lack of fast L-mount sensor that allows 4k120 without crop. (or even 4k60) : in video i love speed ramping the moves shots in ultra wide.
What an interesting Lens, I had once the 100mm Canon macro Lens. Looks very cool and interesting. Macro with this focal length seems a bit odd for me. But it is a great Lens
there is more video formats and there is quite few new features too. The quality is pretty much the same as with S5 but now your video (and photos) can be much sharper due to the better AF
@@PavSZ I don’t really see a need for this lens, but i was curious on weather this lens would be useful for a guy like me. Or if it would be just another lens collecting dust. 😂😂😂
only you can answer that question. I don't know your experience, what you shoot and what camera with. Both great lenses but sigma is bigger and heavier and it needs rear filters
Yayayaya this was such a fun day! Love the photos you’ve got!
It was a great day! Thank you for filming me waffling on this and being in this video!!
Great vid mate, can’t wait to get my hands on this one 🙏🏼👏🏻 great to see content collabs with you and Em!
Thanks Josh!
It's a great little lens.
We should make a video together sometime soon too
@@PavSZ Please do a battle between this and the sigma 16-28 F2,8 =) ...... in particular discuss distortion removal in post , please!!
Great photos with with it. U are a good photographer, not just a lens reviewer.
Cheers from Brazil, JP
Thank you very much!

oh thank you very much! Emily is ace
Wonderful collaboration I didn’t know I needed! Great video coming from the States! 💯💯💯🔥
Thank you!!

it is a neat little lens.
Thank you for watching, we had a great day shooting with it
Traveling review is my new favorite format!
thank you my friend
@@PavSZ ❤️
Always best videos for tests with a lot of samples 😉🙏📷
thank you so much!
14-28, 24-105 and 70-300 all have 77mm thread. So also a match. I'll use it with the 28-200.
thanx for the review- very informative
My pleasure. Thank you for watching
Thanks for this! The Sigma 16-28mm is f2.8, but 33% heavier, longer and not fully weather sealed - a showstopper of some folks.
Have this lens on order! Looking forward to it!
nice one!
Great review!
Thanks Hella!
Świetny odcinek, ułatwił mi wybór szerokiego kąta.
Dzieki! Dobry obiektyw!

great vid! might be a weird question, but what cam did you use to vlog on in this video? thanks!
you don't want to know (coughsonya7IVcough) 😉
@@PavSZ lol. No one ever considers the actual cam being used. How do you like the Sony vs pana?

Looks decent TBF. Feel like I'd prefer the 18mm prime if I have the 24mm already 🤔
me too but with this lens, when used in right conditions, you don't need to change lenses to get those focal lengths
@@PavSZ oh for sure, but I don't mind switching for that faster aperture!...plus completing the full Lumix S prime set feels like a personal goal at this point 😂.

good job Team Lumix!
Thanks!

Great job guys. ❤
You have good synergy.

it's not really macro but macro like. Quite cool getting close and personal with wide angle field of view
How has the quality of lumix 52 deteriorated or for the better? Does improving autofocus affect the quality?
there is more video formats and there is quite few new features too.

US on sale only $460, which is good price!
very good price
I just got the lumix s5 ii and the sigma 16-28mm f2.8 lens. Do you think this lens would be good for a guy like me with the current setup I have?
only you can answer your question

Looking for the 14-24 Sigma L mount, or this instead, since I'm not completely sure if I will use it that often. Which one would you recommend?

Nice. It would appear that Emilie edits faster. 🙂
of course
aw, what a nice review. Very human and you both are very adorable.
oh thank you very much!
Thanks for being honest my dude!
Always!
nice!!
thanks
Happy Valentines Day!

Great video! Thanx! IQ from this lens looks like a.... c...p. For 850 euro.... terrible.
of course
