I picked mine up from the dealer today. After a little hassle, I asked their preference of payment and they requested a cashiers check , done. After a 2+ hr drive I was told that there was a 24 hold on check payments !! I asked if cash was preferred and no indication of a hold was mentioned. After a trip to the bank which was no help, I showed my account summary to prove it was real and thankfully they accepted it. Just not what you want to hear after a long drive months of waiting and following the instructions given. All was good until my insurance company is closed till the morning f@$k. A little more patience.

I wanted the M1KR competition but it’s a little too pricey for my pocket along with a Brentune/full exhaust/sprint air filter/tail tidy.. which is unfortunate..
I commute 95% of the time on my current 21 S1KRR and I think it’s time to look at the S1KR 2023 model. I know you really enjoy your single R.. I’m going to talk numbers at the dealership next week and maybe trade in my 21 👍

Congrats! Excited to see the mods. For non track day riders is a flapper delete needed, or will the Brentune open up the sound from low revs?
So you don't "have" to do a flat delete bren tune can force the flaps open
Too bad TST industries doesn't make the fender eliminator with the brake and indicator set for this as they do for the RR. That would look great on the R models.
Can someone link that hood for the TFT display? I thought it was mentioned somewhere on one of Bill’s videos but I just doom scrolled and cannot don’t it.
That M1000R has to be the best naked ever made. Looks so well rounded, tons of HP, all the bling bling in the world. And i still have the mt-09 because i'm poor as funk

Mine dyno’d with 191 to the wheel after full exhaust and stage1 brentune

You should definitely put on the new NRC tail tidy,It will definitely make the rear look more slick
Unfortunately NRC is garbage. I've had a Tom of them and they have all had issues.
@@CaliMotoTV oh ok,Perhaps TST industries or I see that Futurismoto is dropping a new design in the beginning of July aswell.
@Alexander Rohm unfortunately TST doesn't have anything available for the S1000R, I have the futuris Moto on the S1000R, and what a pain in the ass was just to get, it took months.
@@CaliMotoTV haven’t ever had issues with mine and I’ve had them on numerous bikes although they’re not the best. Ducati have a slick option forget the name but hoping they make one for BMW soon

I compared the M and the Streetfighter V4 and bought the Ducati. The finess and details of Ducati are way ahead plus the sound. Keep going, nice vids

Stop going on about the rev limiter we all know you’ve got to run it in, the bike is amazing and if you test ride any bike when it’s restricted you will never get the full feel and power, so that should not put any body off
