I love how at 1:54 the first two Pegasi carry duos where they seem very serious like your usual hardened adventurer with a grudge but then the last one seems like the party bus, and all I could think of was just "yep, thats a D&D party"

So Maw of The King, Firecracker, and Daybreak are backstories for parts of the party with Stormbreaker and The Assembly Song covering actual campaign events which Dani the Bard experienced. I think I got that right. I don't know if Jingle Bells and Meet my Friends count as 'Canon' for these stories being told.

I think meet my friends is canon to some degree and happens during the fight in this song

Cessair's theme is also backstory for one of the characters. Hard to tell though, and if it is she's gone through some character development
Don't forget "Glad to Meet You," which I think happens immediately after Firecracker (it's the same characters that Firecracker focuses on but it's them actually talking to each other and essentially confessing love for one another).
That moment where the Captain says "You will never be rid of me!" becomes so much more incredible when you realise that Noella's reply to her was "I know."

(Edit) Actually, this could extend the assembly song story! That one spoke of a group that split from their kingdom, and this kind of referenced them coming for a small kingdom. I could be completely off though

@@snakeman830 I can second this. At about 2:18, you see someone who looks similar (same horns and similar outfit) to the singer in Meet my Friends, and they have a floating sword. I always thought Meet my Friends took place in a tavern, but now I see it could likely be the deck of a ship, with the raised deck behind her
I love the amount of story it gives, it truly feels like a Bard singing about a grand adventure it just immerses you effortlessly into the world!

Love this sea-adventure themed music. Reminds me of my current party finding a ship that seems to be alive. There was a stone altar with three slots containing one glowing sapphire gem and another sapphire gem and an empty slot. Notes of the previous dead crew were found saying that the ship didn’t bend to their will as it didn’t like that the crew was pillaging and plundering many folk. Right now the party is currently preparing the ship to sea unknown of where the missing third gem for the third slot is.
Oh in our current campaign we have a magical train that can go under the sands, since if we go above ground it’s infested with young purple worms which have nearly killed us several times. We just found another train wrecked by a giant ant lion which we killed, ie I killed while our bard was asleep from his own Nat 1 sleep spell, the paladin jumped into its den like an idiot, and somehow missed the ant lion completely with his claymore and got stuck down there, and our sorcerer, a literal criminal who managed to miss three seperate casts of eldritch blast, one of which just miraculously managed to hit the bard 100 feet away, in the opposite direction to the ant lion. We are all pretty sure that our sorcerer is planning to kill all of us, or at least kill the bard.
Any ship has the ability to go underwater... once.

Noella has come so far from Daybreak. Shes regained so much, friends, love, even a cause it seems. Maybe finally with this closure, against the people who started her down this path. But like the captain said...Can she ever be rid of her? Has she finally really found a reason to see the sun and forgive herself. I hope so

@@DragonQueen-cv5mw from what I gathered she was taken by the mistwalker as a child, and grew up in her crew, kept as a "trophy" pretty much, the mistwalker almost being an abusive parent in a way

I know I’m late for the party, but I love this video, this is a powerful video that feels like a final of a campaign for Noelle and I love the Dani and the other character that standing by her with the crazy look on her face and just cheering at the end where the other are calm or taking a sigh of relief.

Holy hell I don't know why but this song I keep listening to on repeat, the "as she fell into her grave", now I dunno if you were pushing at the high end of your range but that's what it felt like, really gave a ton of weight to that line ngl. This was just really well done, and this does an amazing job at really hyping me up as the party descends on pegasi.

Coming back to this channel and finding this after discovering The Assembly Song and Maw of the King in 2020 feels like coming back to AO3 and discovering that fanfic you absolutely loved in high school suddenly got an update
This was so epic!! Awesome to see this part of the story brought to life with art and music! Absolutely amazing yall!
Your songs about this Ocean town and sailors and all this wonderful music have given me an idea for a dnd game where they’re on an island with no monsters or predators of any kind, and all of a sudden, miners from the town break through into a sinkhole leading through every layer of the under dark down to maybe some random layer of hell, not sure. Anyway the party is townspeople who are effected by the sudden rush of monsters towards the town, and it’s basically a rush for the party to venture deep into the underdark over the course of several sessions, and eventually they make it to the portal, where some giant group of monsters are making their way out of the portal, the job is to fight the monsters off as some magic user attempts to close the portal in time.
The rasp and trill of the vocal is absolutely mesmerising and haunting! The instrumental captivates and empowers me like few have managed before! I love your story and your vision! Thank you from the bottom of my e3,5 heart!

Aaaaaa this is so _good!_ Maw of the king was how I found your channel, and now it feels like it's coming full circle with your other D&D songs. But I'm sure there's more to this story. I'd love to see this show, but perhaps I can more realistically hope for an ongoing series of short videos in the same vein as DingoDoodles' Bellowing Wilds campaign...? Either way, I hope to see more of this story and more of your songs, they're always phenomenal.

It feels like we are in a tavern just enjoying a nice drink maybe some food. When in comes a red devil with an instrument regaling us with her adventures in the world. And the only connection we have between what happens.
I don’t know much about the characters, but I like to imagine the “ohhh ohh oh” in the background is the halfling hyping up the bard
This is what wants me to get back into D&D but I I'm still new to it and the people have played with are to impatient to teach me how to play so I'll keep trying because this song is inspired me
DnD is not the only tabletop you can play. Personally I find World of Darkness: Hunter the Vigil a lot easier to start with! There’s also Fates which deals solely with D6 dice and that’s it. Not everyone’s first tabletop has to be DnD 👍🏻
