Stormcloaks? Must have been the wind. Dragons? Probably just my imagination. For the Skyrim Guard, life is easy as a stolen sweetroll... even if you take an arrow in the knee.
This animated music video took a lot of time to draw, and this heartfelt rock ballad itself predated It Just Works. But now it's finally time to share our The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim meme song with you, seasoned Dovahkiins.

The song's a damn bop so I would not be surprised if a significant number of those views were not directly dependent of skyrim (I count for a bunch of those, having never played skyrim).

Another guess is it’ll also be more about the memes and stigmas surrounding the game and its genre rather than the world of Teyvat and its characters.
I also wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a sponsored project since Fontaine’s coming out really soon as well.
Edit: I went back and watched the Amogus song again and this GI song is either farther along in production than we might think, or some people on the team are Genshin fans, as Klee does make an appearance in that music video. This only has me more excited.
Truly, nothing was more bone-chilling than Paimon showing up.
No Wonder This Guard Has The Power To End Conflict Through Song, He (And By Extention, The Dragonborn, Due to Being The One Who Stole His Childhood Sweetroll) Is An Immortal Who Has Lived Several Centuries And Survived The Eruption Of Red Mountain (As A Child) And The Oblivion Crisis (While Just Rocking Out Casually At Oblivion Gates). The Absolute Mad Lad.
Bro I've listened to this 30 times today and it's not old yet i even got it on Spotify to listen to while playing Skyrim it's just so good i love it
Dovahkiin maybe good at shouting, but this guard is a master of the way of the voice.
so true
Nice
Rlly
This comment may be very funny, but don’t let that distract you from the fact that Ulfric Stormcloak murdered the high king with his voice, shouted him apart!
What if someone who is a master of the shout uses it for a song such as this one?
This song pierces my soul.
Much like an arrow pierces a knee.
Shut up and take my like
What arrow? Were you taking about that beeze eariler?
It was just the wind.
nah, probably just the wind tho
@@S_O_U_PSir you have 14 arrows in your head
Это так мило что он на поясе носит перья со своего детского шлема :3
You have great attention to detail, I would have never caught that myself.
Why is every song these guys make such a masterpiece? Keep up the good work guys. :)
The Imperials and Stormcloaks getting along through this very unobservant guardsman is truly a beautiful thing.
They must defeat the Thalmor TOGETHER!!!
I like how Gabe recovered from the traumas of the "songus amongus" video after 10 months. Even the doctor is the same one, that sat with him in the ambulance car. These details, wheter they are tiny or not, are truly amazing
There's LORE!
@@electrocubic5116 Genshin impact is coming
This doctor is actually meme character too.

this is genuinely incredible. I love it, no other words needed
This song makes me unbelievably happy every time.
The vibe this song gives off is that “bad things are always transient, and our anxieties make things seem much worse than they are. And we can always make things better.”
Even the war that scorches the land and turns brother against brother will pass. In the end, everything will pass- and so too will this storm.
If no soldier will take up arms, a war cannot be fought.
And so, the Civil War is ended- nothing more than a bad dream.
Simply your imagination.
having actual dragons as back up dancer must be legendary!
This is absolutely gorgeous. How could I live without this the last 4 Months? ❤
Here for that amazing face-palm duo of Ulfric & Tullius at the end.
I thought I just heard an amazing song right now, but it must have just been the wind
Yup, just the wind. Wait- What if the wind is actually the Greybeards using their Thu'um?
2:26 "the winds will pass, the kings will fall, we should stay strong, cuz life goes on."
that hit different.
Who would of guessed the solution to both the civil war and dragon crisis was just good vibes and a smile
Guard:*watches his friend get murdered* must have been the wind
This brought tears to my eyes... It's just something about Stormcloaks and Imperials throwing down the weapons and jamming together to a great song essentially ending the war.
Why it can't end like this in my home country... I am ukrainian.
Sometimes I cry about stupidest things.
Great song, Chalkeaters, as always.
Hope you and your loved ones stay safe there.. ❤️ thank you so much
@@TheChalkeaters Thank you, me and my family are safe thankfully! Keep making the world happy with your songs, Chalkeaters.

Мира вам!
So that went from a complete meme to...
An unironically great song with an actual message behind the phrase, turning the dumb one-liner into an uplifting message of hope, brotherhood and holding up for better times that will eventually come
Wow, how in hell...?

it's beautiful,
I've looked at this for hours now
I was grinning and chuckling the whole song😂, thank you for this. Animation was wonderful
For a song thats supposed to be making fun of a 12 year old games stealth mechanics, its got some impressively deep and meaningful lines, like "We should stay strong because life goes on", Im awestruck at how incredible this song and the performance is.
If you know about the Christmas Day miracle of 1917, this song has similar vibes.
@@VinnyMartellothat was 1914 but yeah similar vibes
Thanks for the correction.

I love how 3/4 into the song the Stormcloaks and Imperials make a temporary peace to join the song.
Ulfric and the Stormcloaks hold off the invasion of Solitude if you trigger the wedding from the Dark Brotherhood questline. He might not like the Empire, but he's not a partycrasher.
@@FamusJamus please tell me theres actual dialogue where ulfric is like "we're about to win this war and march on solitude, but we can't do that while there's a wedding going on i mean c'mon"
"Temporary"? I like to think this song ended the war.
@@glassphoenix9095 That is _really_ close to his actual line: "We're ready to march on Solitude but the Emperor's cousin is getting married!"
There's a clip called "Secret scene if there is a Wedding going on during the Battle for Solitude in Skyrim" by TIMENG which has the full thing.
Saw Chalkeaters, thought it was a band of ex-Marines, discovered best new song for my playlist "And One Time, In Skyrim..." Thanks! Great tune!
