SPOLERS I always took it as Holtz took Connor there, but we also know he left Connor for weeks and/or months as part of "training." Raising him was not high on a list. My theory has always been they saw very little of each other. His accent, to me, comes from head canon-ing whoever else was in Quortoth.
I love keith szarabajka that plays Holtz. He's 5'9" of crazy beautiful. He was an upper level demon that collected people's souls in an episode of Charmed.
He was a regular on the original Equalizer TV series in the 1980s and has done a ton a character acting work. Keith also does voice work for video games.
11:13 Different sources put Connor between 16 and 18 here. Ironically, his actor (Vincent Kartheiser, 23) is four years OLDER than Sunny's (Erika Tormahlen, 19).
Well... if you consider it's hellish squids that drains water from bodies that named it "The Destroyer". I suppose it's fair to assume that it's a demon destroyer... thus Connor. Not that it means specifically something good nor bad for Angel. Just that we can suppose he's not here to destroy the world.
A brilliant action packed start to 'A New World' with Groo, Gunn and Angel up against Connor. A great scene as well when Angel finally overpowers him but cannot kill him. Lilah turning up as Wesley's flat is somewhat strange, and we are very fearful of her intentions, and she says 'the worst spot in hell is reserved for those that betray'. Conor of course definitely got his fighting skills from his mother and father! We see however his wild evil streak when he cuts the ear off one of the assailants. When Angel turns up after the girl OD's, we have Connor tell Angel his Father ( Holtz ) told him all about Angel and has obviously poisoned his mind. The reappearance of Holtz at the end now really throws the cat among the pigeons. Two really good back to back episodes here.
Connor is 16 because he was trapped in Quor'Toth hell dimension with Daniel Holtz in sixteen years inside after he being kidnapped by Daniel Holtz when he was four month old as baby.
Dantes Inferno lists the 9 supposed layers of hell 1.limbo 2. Lust 3. Glutany 4. Greed 5. Anger 6. Heresy 7. Violence 8. Fraud 9. Treachery Each circle becomes worse. The 9th circle for those who are treacherous to friends, family and loved ones. In dante's perspective that is the worst sin you can take part of
Biological father Angel, surrogate mom Cordelia, and biological son Connor reunion. Can't believe nobody talks about Connor's first kiss with his female friend Sunny.
I never liked Connor, because when I watched the show on TV, I skipped season 3, so I missed his lovely-baby time. But I'm quite intrigued by how many episode a person who likes Connor takes to hate him.
I never grew to hate him. I hated some things that he did, but never hated him. He's one of my favorite characters not only in Angel but in the whole Buffyverse.
Teenage Connor has always been my favorite character in the entire Buffyverse, to the extent if Lexi hates him, I'll stop watching her vids. It wouldn't be anything against her. She's entitled to her opinion. But I wouldn't be able to take the Connor hate. I identify so much with him and Dawn it's ridiculous. Life is unbearable when you feel like you don't really have anyone and can't believe in anything. I think the haters forget that Connor's behavior is understandable. He was gone only a few episodes and came back as a sulky teen, so for the viewers that was a blip. For Connor, he spent his whole life in a demonic Hell dimension, the worst of them apparently, with no other people besides his abusive psychotic kidnapper who never really loved him because he was so sick with hate that he infected into Connor like a disease. He had to spend every second of his life fighting to survive pretty much alone with no real family and friends. He was TRAUMATIZED. And I don't blame him for not trusting anyone after that, let alone the father he was literally raised to hate since before the age of 1. And then he was straight up manipulated by Evil Cordy/Jasmine who used his desperation for love and belief against him. Is it any wonder how he came out? Really? How would you?
OMG! it's amazing to make his eyes roll back as he immerses in bliss, it's a mind-blowing experience, I did what I mentioned last week and now he can’t have enough, I learned the exact moves by go’ogling Jevie Hindlerg’s latest, it doesn't even compare!
Raised in a Hell Dimension by an old English man from the 18th Century and came out with an American accent. Makes sense.

So much for that smooth reunion where father and son reconnect, rekindling their relationship
Father and son officially reunite.
Great Buffy moment at the beginning.
Connor is one of those characters that illicits strong emotions from the fandom. cant wait to see what you make of all that comes up!

He also had a reoccurring role on Supernatural as the prophet Donatello.
3:23 I get it all Groo knows is this guy showed up and tried to kill Angel, So Groo tried to help him.
I love how invested you are! It makes your reactions that much more interesting!!
I always loved Mistress Myrna

Welp haha
I knew she's in Just Deal tv show back in the day.

"How old is he supposed to be?"
Excellent question.
16:43 That's a shotgun so Angel took several bullets for Conner.
That moment when you realize your son is only 10 years younger than you..
0:07 I ALMOST JUST FELL UP THE STAIRS OH MY GOD😂😂😂😂

His name is Stephen.
He's 18 atm.

Loved this Series in the 90s Buffy&Angel

This isn't the Conner kiss you should be creeped out by.
How old is Lyla, anyway?
I think the actress who played Lyla was approximately 33 at this point
I just want on the record that you wanted Holtz to die, the details were not important
I keep wondering who Lexi hates more: Holtz or Warren.
Yes
@@TheLexiCrowd excellent answer 😉
Lexi when Conner parries Gru's axe: "oh thank god"
The rest of us: "oh god dammit"

I don't hate Connor, I hate the writers and directors who took a great actor and made him give us this.

yeah holtz is bad, so much worse than the trio for sure......
