To explain the beginning a little, lots of things that aren't legal to buy or sell in the upper city can be bought in the markets of the undercity! Because of the deal Vander and Grayson have, the enforcers ignore that sort of thing so long as undercity folks don't cause problems in the upper city. That's where Jayce bought the illegal equipment he got arrested for
I loved watching your reaction and I have some criticism for you. 1. If there are some explanations to be done or you're discussing something about the things you've watched, I'd appreciate a short pause. This prevents you from missing critical information in the following scene, which you tend to talk over. I honestly really don't mind pauses, I know the show already and am very glad to hear your thoughts on things, especially if they're still fresh from just watching a scene. Obviously there's no need to pause for every little thing but for longer explanations and discussions it would be great. (You did for example talk over Mel saying "I'm told it's only for the greatest of minds", which shows she wasn't trying to be a practical joker but rather manipulating by subtly complimenting him, as he didn't know it to be a child's toy.) 2. I really, really love the Q&A at the end of the episode, it's one of the things setting you apart from other reactors. It's a creative and interactive way of doing a post episode analysis and really keeping me interested until the very end. That being said, I'm really looking forward to the next episode and eventually season 2!
WOW! Thank you SO MUCH for taking the time to give us constructive criticism! It REALLY means a lot to us! Unfortunately, this feedback is only making its way to us after we've already finished the entirety of the 1st season of Arcane, but for our upcoming reaction filmings- your feedback would be strongly considered!! 🙂 The Q&A- Thank you very much for your compliment, it really means a lot! Just a quick question. We want to make our content as great for our audience as possible and your feedback matters A LOT to us! Do you think we should avoid longer than 10-15 second long discussions during the reaction itself completely, make them less frequent or keep them as they are? This is a MASSIVE part of the reaction video itself and I feel like if we get this right- we will start producing better quality content for all of our viewers! :)
@@KrazzAndJazz You're welcome, you deserve it for the effort you're putting into this yourself! I can only speak for myself but I'll try to make some guesses regarding public opinion. I myself wouldn't mind it at all, if it reached up to a minute if it's an actual discussion, wouldn't want too many of those though, 3 or 4 per episode at most. Obviously it has to be actual, organic discussions, don't force yourself into reaching a certain amount in a video, just do it, if it comes up. If the pauses are too long or too frequent I'd expect viewers to skip through those though, which is bad for viewer retention and thus the algorithm. (I don't know your knowledge regarding viewer retention on youtube so in a nutshell: Time spent interacting with a video is measured relative to the length of a video. So skipping through a video suggests to youtube that your video isn't thaaaat interesting as viewers are spending less time on the video than the whole duration is.) So considering the above I'd suggest small pauses for explanations and at most a few longer pauses for discussions. I'd also try to aim for no more than 30 seconds for discussions unless it feels relevant. That's the most important part, don't try to keep to certain durations at any cost, authenticity whilst recording is much more important. If one discussion happens to be quite a bit longer, so be it. In general, though, still beware of doing too many pauses as it might interrupt the flow of the movie/show you are watching. I'd suggest easing into it and experimenting with it. One more thing I happend to notice: Contrary to almost every other reaction channel out there, you do not say your names in the beginning. This might be a conscious choice in order to be more distinct but for exampling prevents me from addressing you by name (I'm new to the channel and don't know who's who). This leads to generally less direct and thus less personal engagement. If you want to keep it the way it is (directly starting with a question to grab attention), perhaps just quickly say your names seconds before hitting play. "I'm Krazz, this is Jazz and let's get into it!" or something along those lines.
@@nekiritan6779 Thank you so much for taking the time to provide such valuable constructive feedback! The only downside is that, unfortunately, we won’t be able to implement any of these changes until season 2 of Arcane or the OVAs before season 2 of Attack on Titan. People like you, who take the time and effort to provide thoughtful constructive criticism, truly help others grow and improve! I look forward to reading more of your insights and seeing you in future videos! 🙂
@@KrazzAndJazz You're welcome, also it's nice being heard and appreciated! I'll be looking forward to those implementations in the next season then. Have a nice one!
I'd never considered the double threat of ice cream vans before. 🍦
