Honestly, I feel like what u just said sums up what we should take from this game, if everyone had thought about them all winning, even if it meant winning less money, instead of only thinking about themselves, then everyone would have won. So basically if everyone though about a greater good for all the people, and not just them, everyone would win, and maybe this applies for many things in life.

Well, I feel Dax didn't give a good first impression that's why he was treated like that. He didn't act confident in expressing himself, he just wasn't firm enough and he seem like a yes guy. People subconsciously tend not to treat people like Dax as equals.

Dax was unwanted on both teams because he is more submissive and not competitive or greedy. In a situation where hungry lions see a piece of meat, usually everyone is going to get greedy, selfish, and mean really quickly so they don't find him fitting into that environment. It's sad because he seems like a very kind person.

i would chose red, not for the reason you listed, but because red is statistically better. you are comparing 50% money with the risk of having no money (blue) to the chance of having 100% money with the risk of having no money (red). its really a no-brainer if you think of it statistically, but i do see your point.

In his most recent yt video he’s more serious and not “nervous” as it’s about something important. but in interviews and other videos he’s more “anxious” and what not. I’ve seen this game before, and it’s honestly way better in 1 on 1 situations. Because I feel like when it is 3v3, it is more of a competition with the other team. You don’t feel as bad screwing the other team over because you are helping your team win. But when it is 1 on 1, you alone make the choice of screwing the other person over, and that makes it a much harder choice to make!

I'd probably go red purely because I'd rather get nothing than let someone I don't know (and therefore can't trust) get all the money (if they decide to be greedy). Obviously would be different if I knew the people playing, depending on who they are. Probably would share half of it after with the person if they actually deserved it.

I understand some people need money more than others at the time, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be more sympathetic towards other people as well. I would pick blue, so that the worst case scenario is the other team winning some money. Maybe if they're nice, they'll split it at the end. But even if they don't, blue makes it possible for everyone to win, and by picking it, you are projecting a more altruistic humankind. It's also true that takers in this world are, in the long run, more likely to falter than succeed. Regardless, it's more fair to pick blue.

Except for based on probability theory the rational choice is red. Based on game theory in the prisoner dilemma in one shot play you choose red. The true rational thinker will pick red.
Actually picking red is the best option bc the you either win $333 or no one gets anything. With blue, you only get a maximum of $100 if you win and if you lose, the other team wins all the money. Its honestly the smartest and most logical decision.
39k viewers and 1.2 made it to the comments to say dax. Dax had the best strategy but pointing out what youtube society is or isn't for a reality check of what we're working with. At least now we know the last one picked is not the least. A crapshoot. To have greedy self serving people on your team is to ensure everyone loses in the game . Basically "teams" plural, was a misnomer.

The mindset does make sense though becuase you have absolutely no idea what the opposing team will decide and if you go for 'everyone wins' while the opposing team doesn't it's a loose. In the end its just a game though
Blue is still safest bet because if the other team chooses red you still wouldn’t get the money anyway and if they choose blue then y’all all get the money
Either way, they won't win anything, so they might as well pick blue in case they're wrong. Or pick red if you want to spite them and not let them win the money.

Dax should've argued why everyone should choose blue (he was on both teams), because if one team chooses red and his team chooses red, they won't win money. and if one team chooses red and his team chooses blue, they won't win money. So either way, they won't win money, so they can hope that both teams chooses blue.

I’ve seen this game before, and it’s honestly way better in 1 on 1 situations. Because I feel like when it is 3v3, it is more of a competition with the other team. You don’t feel as bad screwing the other team over because you are helping your team win. But when it is 1 on 1, you alone make the choice of screwing the other person over, and that makes it a much harder choice to make!

@@Yue_Jin So what if someone else gets the money? The money in the game was no one's to begin with. We're not losing money. I understand some people need money more than others at the time, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be more sympathetic towards other people as well.
I would pick blue, so that the worst case scenario is the other team winning some money. Maybe if they're nice, they'll split it at the end. But even if they don't, blue makes it possible for everyone to win, and by picking it, you are projecting a more altruistic humankind.
It's also true that takers in this world are, in the long run, more likely to falter than succeed. Regardless, it's more fair to pick blue.
