Thats a good sign that there is someone with a half decent brain trapped inside this guy. This is what happens to a person when their parent doesn't guide them in any meaningful way and neglects their duties to educate their child. This man has severe arrested development, that's the only reason he acts weird, but nobody understands why. Take it from someone who has gone through it to a MUCH lesser degree. You don't act awkward like that when you have a normal upbringing, he doesn't even know how fucked up his childhood probably was because he's been brainwashed into thinking this is normal. Now he embraces his anti social disorder for views, which in my opinion is a horrible, shrill way of living, stop encouraging his stupid behavior. He could claim it's all an act one day, but that's only part of the truth. Now he's purposefully turned himself into a spectacle for idiots to gawk and awe at, it's all disgusting, greedy, nonsense.
it's crazy, when it's generic, walking up to someone on the street for something you need is easy enough, but when it's asking multiple people for something 99/100 people will say no to, it's like learning to swim in the middle of the ocean for some reason. A whole other type of terrifying.

Brett is such a bro lol the part where dax was randomly showing him himself in 21 jump street he went along with it and was like Oh yeah i thought you looked familiar.
Dax radiates charisma. It doesn't matter how you look at him, he is so genuine that you will feel drawn to him and appreciate his approach to things in life. His speech is very gentle and he didn't put pressure on either of the contestants during the show. It was awesome.
This is brilliant. Hes awkward as hell but somehow not cringy. “There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high- powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die."
Matt Clayton Content Cop was great but it thrived in an era of TH-cam where drama was rampant and everyone was in a battle royale for popularity and relevance. IDubbbz has since become comfortable with his current space on TH-cam and has decided to shift to a more creatively liberating form of content that allows him to create an engaging story and provide new perspective on some of the notable figures of the online world. I think Idubbbz should team up with EmpLemon and Internet Historian to cover a wide variety of events and people from the history of TH-cam and the web.

the immense awkwardness of the gameshow was actually very entertaining. Having the contestants confused and uncomfortable was a unique perspective lol. I could definitely see this premise become popular and Dax is the perfect host lmaoooo

Hes a great example of autism not necessarily being a disorder (in the literal sense). Hes a perfectly functional human who happens to think a different way
The thing that I love about Ian is that he seems to never ask something of someone that he wouldn't ask of himself. He manages to immerse himself in the life of these people without coming off as voyeuristic. He speaks very kindly to people and yet he also respects them enough as human beings to tell them uncomfortable things right to their faces, and I think people appreciate that more than anything else. When you're eccentric, and especially if you manage to gain some kind of fame from your eccentricities, people tend to keep you at arms length for their good or your own. Ian instead treats them like he would any other person, and you can tell that even when he's criticizing someone or something, it touches them.
I think he is half doing a character but he is definitely super awkward, he just learned to embrace the awkwardness and doesn't get embarrassed by it. when I feel awkward because of my social anxiety it feels almost painful and I can't do anything to stop it, Dax does not seem to have that at all.
Idubbbz struggles approaching random people to ask about a smoothie game show, but he has no problem throwing a tantrum in a spongebob onesie in the middle of walmart?
Dude daxflame could make a KILLING by awkwardly interviewing people on the street. That should be his go-to content. It's hilarious but sometimes cringe
Thing is while idubbz would make more money doing this on Netflix, just like dax, he wouldn't like doing the same thing.I think idubbz likes the control and freedom of TH-cam
@@samemz I am sure you're right. I was really just meaning something with the structure and quantity of a Netflix series. Maybe i'm just itchin' more iDubbbz documentaries.

The actor guy, Brett. Was kind to an awkward stranger and joined his strange gameshow that now has 4M views on TH-cam. If Dax was looking to put a moral into the smoothie gameshow, thats it!
Brett and Dax are equally nice and yet are the antithesis of each-other. One a friendly mega chad who could make anyone comfortable, the other a friendly awkward guy who could make ANYONE uncomfortable. I would watch something revolving around the two of them navigating REAL social situations (the real part is important, because it wouldn't work scripted).
That’s exactly what I was thinking lol, couldn’t have said it any better. And I like your idea of a show featuring the two. I think it could be hilarious and benefit both of them
@forrestrichard8133 it wasn't random though - he'd be judging the smoothies by how they taste /to him/, so the smart thing to ask is what tastes he likes. He was just giving them a little (huge) nudge when nobody asked lol
At first I thought it was awkward, but his comfort in being friendly and open made people feel strange. I mean he's only talked to less than 100 people from the same area, there are definitely people that will find him approachable once he tweaks some things a bit.
I’ve never heard of this dude before, but I fucking love him and respect his… ability to be and/or do this. This dude is literally the most “comfortable with himself” that I’ve ever seen and it’s truly encouraging. Gods bless you, Dax Flame. You truly inspire me to reach a higher level of “just don’t give a fuck”. Thank you.
@@markovmily6950 I think he is, he wouldn't be making TH-cam videos, starring in movies and wishing for a talk show if he wasn't comfortable in himself. He's clearly very autistic and his neurotypical audience doesn't know how to interpret his energy.
I was genuinely laughing through the game show part! I wasn’t even sure what I was watching or laughing at but it was pure and all the content seemed so… genuine
Between this and Full Force, these anti-exposé’s are some of the best videos on Ian’s channel. He treats these iconic people with such respect and seems to have a genuine fascination with what makes things cool and popular, or in this case what happens when the popularity fizzles out. Keep it up man. We love to see it
It's good that Ian has a straight character to keep doing these kind of videos after all the shit that happened to him. Even with the shitty part of the audience he gained during his guys being dudes era berating him for nonsenses, he still delivers good videos and has evolved. Not many can do that.
I had the same thought, he took the meticulous research away from dumb youtube controversy and instead invested that time and energy making basically the same thing but in a positive way. This shit is way better than content cop imo.
Arbiter my thoughts exactly. I like content cop for comedic value, but it could never touch wholesome, heartfelt and interesting documentaries on real people with quirky lives likable and personalities.
Had to come back to this after binging "The Hot Seat with Dax Flame". Makes me very happy and proud to see Dax to realise his vision of having his own show with guests. Thank you Ian for broadening Dax's reach!!!
It's better than the damn unboxing shit. Maybe Ian's moving past his FilthyFrank equivalent era. I've always wanted him to focus more on the interesting shit, rather than mind numbing boxes of useless crap. He's putting his money to good use with these documentaries.
@mod channel Sure, to each his own. For me some of it was entertaining, but most of it made me want to exit my own body. I did enjoy the odd patter with the Japanese dude that sent him weird crap though, that was kinda fun.
@@dougthemoleman That unboxing shit is what made him who he is. Gotta admire his progression and the way he adapts to TH-cam. Unlike a certain youtuber that got layed to rest and came back just to talk shit when someone was vulnerable;)
dax needs an adult swim show. that gameshow was so awkward and surreal, felt something like the Eric Andre show or Nathan for You. would definitely watch it more
Dude this is perfect, that fits him so good. I just wonder if he would want to do that knowing it isn’t a serious game show. Or, it is all an act and it’s what he’s been waiting for.
Lol the video ends with Dax saying, "I think maybe I've heard it on a roller-coaster." The Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit is a roller-coaster in Universal Studios Orlando that allows you to select a song from a list of artists that plays throughout the duration of the ride. "Sabotage" by the Beastie Boys is, indeed, an option. This guy is as real as they come.
I just finished crying from laughter after the third question in the trivia. It was so brilliant - the absurdness of a smoothie trivia at all, the contestants not realizing at all what's going on and that question - got me so off guard, I was laughing so hard. Brett is still an absolute genius, and I'm so happy to see him in the spotlight!
I think Brett is literally one of the most genuine and kind people I have ever heard. He was so willing to do anything dax said. I loved him! Holy crap thanks for the likes, never had this many before 😂
even in the gameshow where there's supposed to be a competition, he always makes sure that everyone is comfortable and understands everything... this really is a one in a billion man
You’ve done two documentaries about two people I knew nothing about and now care for unconditionally. You make really good docs man keep up the good work.
God damn what a lovely guy Brett was! He just smiled and did everything he was asked and really tried to participate and lift the show. Such a shame Ian didn't think of interviewing him by the end of it. I would've loved to hear what he was thinking during this shoot.
@bob dylaqn I mean I don’t want to be an actor but I could totally see actors like Brett doing anything to get their name out there. It’s extremely hard to do because so many are trying the same. But I’d say he succeeded in a way with this, i mean we know his name and what he looks like and are talking about him now are we not? I don’t know, I just respect people trying for their dreams. And Brett did more than great being on this game show with the worlds worst host.
The documentary stuff might be my favorite content so far, the content cop was amazing, loved the squirrel stuff and bad unboxing along with the complains are always entertaining, but the Docs are such a balance of humor and legitimate filmmaking in my opinion, I’d like to see more. I’m in full support of these. (I’ve seen airsoft fatty like 3 times) A slice of life.
I would also watch a smoothie game show, I found myself really enjoying the awkward cooking/minute to win it vibe. I’ve always had a weird interest in odd competition shows and this was something that was quite up my alley. I could definitely see myself subscribing to a show like this especially if it was better produced.
