I believe Forza will be the finished product in about 6 months, its already getting better and the Nurburgring addition has improved it vastly. Comparing it to Gt7 is always nice to see but they 2 different approaches to simcades, Forza has always been about driving and atmosphere and GT is mostly realism. I will say the GT fans struggle to admit that Forza can be very good at times and even in this video seems very realistic and alive.
I don't think anyone struggles to admit that Forza can be good, its problem is that it isn't consistently good. Forza's highs are right up there with what GT offers, but its lows are really low.
I like playing forza now but the car upgrading system is really bad and it crashes sometimes the graphics look at bit weird but the physics are really satisfying
GT7 is obviously better, but the contrast is better in Forza, the areas in the shade in GT7 are way too dark, especially the trees, for example at 6:28 the dark areas in Forza are more realistic. With that said, I think this time of day and weather always looks dull even in games with good graphics, I'm curious to see how they look in different time and weather. Also, is Forza using the normal P1 dashboard?
Forza Motorsport version of the Nordschleife look more detail than Gran Turismo 7 version. But there is a problem with the FM version though. Too many trees! So I’m not incline to say Forza Motorsport’s version clears over Gran Turismo’s version. I would say it’s a tie between both. -Gran Turismo player
The colors looks on forza much more realistic to me. GT always looks like someone payed to much on the color saturation. So that it always look like the tele tubbie land
Although Turn10 tends to add elements to tracks that aren’t there in real life, I do like that Forza’s tracks feel a bit more lively than GT’s because of it. They’re both ridiculously good looking games though and I’m lucky enough to be able to play both of them.
Honestly, no. I played both games and GT7 is far better then Forza, i was shocked how bad Forza was graphic wise and not to mention the physics. A friend who only played Forza and never GT was completly shocked how good GT was compeared to Forza. I was expecting way more than that from Turn10 but lets see what they will do in a year or so.
I like Forza lighting more because it’s more realistic I get polyphony wanted a anime feel to the game but I prefer the more realistic approach as far as the lighting and coloring
Saludos.
I started out with GT1 on PS1 and played all of them up to GT4, and then switched to Xbox360 and Forza pretty much all the way up to FM6, but I have to say GT7 looks head and shoulders above FM7. One personal gripe I have about all of the FM games is they look and feel more "arcadey" in my opinion, and in this case something about the camera angle (in the chase cam) and/or blurring effects makes me feel like Turn 10 is trying to amp up the sensation of speed artificially. Also not a fan of the washed out look, but to each their own.
What really matters to me is how the handling feels - and I don't know which I would prefer there - but visually and even more audibly I prefer FM. GT looks and sound way more arcade-like to me.

This video is the same as comparing 2 televisions from different brands and one of them without calibrating the colors, brightness and saturation. I'm sure that if you configure it properly, you'll notice that Forza has better vegetation and richer details. But I've always liked the photo realism of granturismo , The car's bodywork really looks like TIN and not plastic
In one hand, Gran Turismo 7 presents better visual quality in terms of car models (both interiors and exteriors), a better balance of colors and contrast, more realistic circuits in terms of representation, and better physics and car reactions. Obviously, the driving sensation in Gran Turismo 7 is also much better. On the other hand, Forza Motorsport has better sound, better ambient geometry, higher vegetation density, and overall, better graphics at the scenery level. I also prefer the sensation of speed and camera angle here.
Better sound? Have you listened some comparison? They're butchering cars like the GMA T.50bor the Valkyrie. And in general, all post-launch cars sounds bad or mid at their best

Both did a great job, this one I'm gonna give to Forza. The sunlight just looks far more realistic and the world looks imperfectly lived in. The saturation levels in GT are just too high. And the curbs look perfectly brand new, except for the occasional tire rub near the base of the curb. Forza's curbs have dirt and grime. The both did the interiors really well, they are slightly different models, so you can't really go like for like. I have experience with both. Personally, in isolation they're doing the good job representing the track in their own way.
Agreed
I like playing forza now but the car upgrading system is really bad and it crashes sometimes the graphics look at bit weird but the physics are really satisfying
Disagree.
Looks like they rotate on a centre axis and its the track thats moving in the rear view at the start
GT7 💪🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Forza Motorsport version of the Nordschleife look more detail than Gran Turismo 7 version. But there is a problem with the FM version though. Too many trees! So I’m not incline to say Forza Motorsport’s version clears over Gran Turismo’s version. I would say it’s a tie between both.
-Gran Turismo player
Actually gran turismo 7 is accurate
Gt7 only wins in lighting. That's it! Forza is better everywhere else on this track
@@dargis49 nope its not now 😢
I like both games. And Forza and gt7 has flaws and pluses.
Nope. Nurb is more accurate in GT7. even graffiti on the track aren't so accurate in Forza as it is in GT7
is it just me or forza looks faster in terms of sense of speed?
Yes different fov. But iracing is the worst its like looking 5x rifle scope or something

GT always looks like someone payed to much on the color saturation. So that it always look like the tele tubbie land
Is this car worth getting in GT7?
Yes, it is exciting to drive. Also, one of the Hypercar trio to collect: La Ferrari, Porsche 918, McLaren P1

I was always wondering why the Nordschleife felt off in FM7 compared to GT, ig I wasn’t the only one who noticed
@@lexxro87 Each to their own. I play both regularly and think both are great looking and fun to play in their own rights.
Moins stable sur Forza motorsport 😮
You only have to see second 0:09-0:11 to understand why Gran Turismo have more accurate tracks, look at the kerbs, 2 meter tall kerbs on forza
Doing my ocd in, the difference in the dashboards read outs
I would say just on car lighting and rendering GT7 has the leap. Rest forza
What is your opinion on the trees?
One is a colorful cartoon (almost cell-shade) and then other is plutonic.
gt7 best 100%
@@B-A-Lfuck the trees, they're the least important element on a racing game
I like Forza lighting more because it’s more realistic I get polyphony wanted a anime feel to the game but I prefer the more realistic approach as far as the lighting and coloring

Do comparison with real footage. Probably both games track are a bit outdated now
Saludos.
Really? Cockpit camera to show the track and enviroment?

It's the sole purpose of comparison videos
Gran Turismo has more vivid colors and a clearer image.
GT7 is truly the best overall driving simulator. Xbox has always been for kix n shiggles
Somehow they’re going the same speed yet gt looks very slow and stiff. Graphics wise its much better but I wish they let us have more sense of speed
But Forza is not bad. But is overtuned. To much stuff. Higher tress. Looks more than real.
Interior lighting looks so unrealistic in GT7. Drive a car in sunny day and you'll see, it's too dark.
Sun's position
@@olavofernandes7286 drive a real car and you'll see how looks sun's position in real life
How come the trees are different?
Because Turn 10 couldn't be bothered putting accurate ones in.
Forza Motorsport look like we're looking from a gopro with a large FOV. It make the distance between the car and things in front of us inaccurate. We're condemn to play on first person if we want accurate field of view.
why sound very unrealistic in forza and the car always spitting fire ? 😅
It’s a dragon inside
Assetto corsa p1 gtr sounds exactly the same as forza and funny enough has lots of backfires. Kunos did a good job with their product soIm not mad

Forza otherwise has higher track Details. But to much stuff out the track.
Higher tree density, not track details...both are very different things....GT7 absolutely dog walks FM if you pause and actually look at the details
Tbh not at all, hate the blinding huge gloom effect. FH5 had so sexy crisp sun reflection

Forza more realistic and sense of speed.
Arguably, GT7's sense of speed is more realistic: important when tacking the corners.
It is necessary to add normal p1 to gt7
Just wondering how many the people banging on about accuracy have driven the circuit in real life?
They can compare videos taken from in car collection and use that. It's not that hard, so care to insert the other foot in your mouth?
@@evilformerlys4704 wow didn't know watching stuff on the internet made you a prominent expert on something, thanks for the info 👍

There's just tons of evidence that point out to how wrong Forza is. Lots of people have already driven and shared their experience.
GT7 is a 9.5 game, any forza game can barely hit a 7.
GT7 its better in every aspect, Forza is just generic bs focused only on graphics, and even, GT7 has better graphics tho
I keep hearing the accuracy of gt7 yet I’m looking at almost the to absences of road markings GT 7 in comparison to FM.
Because the markings are faked. They add details that don't exist in real life
More =/= more accurate.
There's because the track had been resurfaced since 2005, most of those markings haven't been there in almost 10 years.
The road markings in FM are questionable at best
I've never attacked with a real car, so I can't judge which one is faithful to reality other than the video. Which one is actually real?
Yeah even forza horizon is getting repetitive with the sound design new cars looks like they’re reusing existing sound models when playing Beamng i somewhat started to like the tire screeching sounds when powersliding not bad for a indie game its pretty well blended with the engine sound

i believe that if forza had the same colour pallet as gt7 it would look way better, it looks washed up but it's not horrendous.
I just don't know why in an open environment, that GT's McLaren sounds like it's in a tunnel. Again, both are great representations, and if you have either game, you won't be missing out. Great job by the developers. Great video comparison.👍
Forza 💚
The engine Sound in gt7 is more realistic ❤

I just got a PlayStation basically to start playing GT7 it blows Forza away by a mile.
gran turismo has so much more dept and colour in it
GT7 overall looks better to me but Forza has more going on as far as effects and and feel like their speed effects
I just cant for the life of me understand how people can watch this comparison and come away thinking GT7 looks better here. Is it just fanboyism or something?
