What's crazy is GT7 headlights use more than one source, you can see this when the car bounces around or approached different level parts of the track around 6:40 on up, you can see the light intensity change when low beam and high beam converge, really evident on steep grade. PD really went in with lighting, if they had more power they'd have really went nuts. Look at the moonlight gently illuminating the skybox, Forza is invisible for some strange reason. I've never seen a pitch black sky, even in moonless nights due to our atmosphere that's impossible to see happen.
I also noticed that some of the track signage - the white rectangles that look the same size as speed limit signs (I know they’re not.. lol), small orange squares, etc - on the GT7 side go dark when the headlights don’t shine on them. Enjoy both games. Gt7 headlight beam looks 👌. Forza Motorsport the headlight beam reflections pop in. Room for improvements. With a closer inspection I would say this is could be due to limiting viewing distance in the graphics settings.
Also want to know, that you can't always see. GT7 feels very planted and predictable with a GT3 car, almost as if every race car has a 2tonne McMurtry suction fan beneath it, is that accurate? And yes I know about downforce, just not sure if its accurate.

For a long time I always felt Forza physics shined while in playing on a controller but sucked when using a wheel. With gt I always felt sucked on a controller but feels really good when using a wheel. The latest Forza has closed the wheel gap with a slight edge still belonging to Gt. Forza still feels infinitely better on a controller. In Gt I feels grip has an on and off button. One minute it’s all good and suddenly it’s gone. When I lose grip I rarely feel like I could have done anything to save it. Every car feels like it’s on rails with excessively stiff springs. In Forza I feel like I can make appropriate adjustments to regain lost grip. There is more of a middle ground between having grip and losing it completely. Cars in general are easier to drive in Forza but also have a more arcade feel to them. Both games have amazing physics and I honestly couldn’t say who doing it better at this point. One game is easier to pick up and play and I’m not sure if realism is factor or not.

there’s pretty much no point doing this comparison as they’ve (forza) recycled this since FM6
Why is Forza so lit? GT7 is more intimate since it's only you and your car on a dark forest. I like that feeling.
There are no lights at Nürburgring at night:
th-cam.com/video/DlDnk_n0i2g/w-d-xo.html
I vote for GT7.
Forza Motorsport fake nurburgring LOL
Forza Motorsport fake ALL CARS LOL
While those added lights at corners makes it look beautiful, i would've preferred to be completely dark
I clicked because I saw the huge Illumination diference bitween them. Nurbugring doesn't have all the light thar Forza has.
I am infuriated by this fartcan sound every single car seems to have in Forza. If you notice it once, you can't unhear it. There is this weird exhaust sound, like at 2:40 you can hear the comparison between the two games. What the hell are they doing? It's like some part of the exhaust is resonating or something. Built from the ground up btw.
Much better than the vaccum sounds in GT7 imo.
Technically, it's built from the ground up, FM7 sounded way more aggressive (and arguably better imo).
lol. Shat, from the arse down. This video makes me want a PS. If I were an FM dev this video would make me cringe a little bit.
In Gt you actually hear cockpit engine sound, I don't like Forza hall reverb.
Como fan de Forza, debo reconocer el maravilloso sonido del motor de Gran Turismo
Whats with Breaking lights in FM? 😂
Without hdr we’re not seeing an additional graphical element. You need to upload your comparison videos in hdr only
I could, but what is the percentage of people who are watching YT videos in HDR and they would notice this "additional graphical element"?
@@MotoGamesTVsmartphones largely support HDR these days. People don’t even need to do anything extra to see HDR content on TH-cam from a phone.
HDR would make a huge difference, especially in GT7 with the car lights
Enjoy both games. Gt7 headlight beam looks 👌. Forza Motorsport the headlight beam reflections pop in. Room for improvements.
With a closer inspection I would say this is could be due to limiting viewing distance in the graphics settings.
GT7 🔥🔥
Forza has the wrong LED RPM lights 😞
It's just a small wish of mine. If possible, I hope to make an album of various racing games at the Nürburgring, such as Shift, PCars...etc.🥰
What about physics and driving? Which one feels better in your opinion?
Also want to know, that you can't always see. GT7 feels very planted and predictable with a GT3 car, almost as if every race car has a 2tonne McMurtry suction fan beneath it, is that accurate? And yes I know about downforce, just not sure if its accurate.
That response won't help you since you have to try it yourself to figure out if you like it or not. I never understand these questions, which are literally just someone else giving you their feelings on something. You don't know them, so how would their input help you in the least?
I feel that forza physics are unrealistically unpredictable, like if you brake 2 meters late for a turn, you lost control of your car, meanwhile in gt7 you can still correct an error like that
@@ImSantiago8949 I’ve played the new game to the point of my driver level resetting after hitting 999 and have not noticed the issues you’re describing regarding its physics. Are you using stock tunes? They are atrociously off to the point of some cars being un drivable. Stock values are the only thing i could imagine giving you this much grief. This is without a doubt the best physics T10 has produced
😂😂😂@@MoJo-2977
thank god they added some trackside lights for forza, the headlights are trash being half the distance of Gran Turismo.
Wow FM Nurburgring was a blasphemy
Why? I don't understand this, since they put details on the Forza track that Gran Turismo doesn't have.
@@oi118real track doesn’t have lights ! FM have put lights ! Stop be blind fanboy
@@jacobdakis9423 Most people are saying it's because the transam cars don't have headlights at night so it would be virtually impossible for them to race. And forza has a decent amount of them.
@@Petrolhead55823 But realistically that doesn't make sense. Why in the world would you attempt to drive a car with no headlights at night. It's night... that's like using slick tyres on ice then complaining about lack of grip.
GT7’s lighting and presentation is so S-tier that I can’t even put it into words, it’s just objectively more visually impressive and has better atmosphere when driving at night. It’s just you, your car, and the eternal darkness.
Does the track actually have those floodlights?
Imagine driving Chaparral 2J on Nurburgring 💀💀💀
Both did an amazing job, that's it. Great games.
I love the tree model in Forza more than in GT7; in GT7, it's just... green.
I am an Xbox user and been playing Forza Motorsport since FM3, but I'm not a fanboy in any way.
Gran Turismo 7 looks way better, the lighting plays an important part here and they just deliver a better night experience overall. So much for the "built from the ground up"...
FM7 wasn't great, bjt I would take that over FM23 for sure
Turn 10 indeed truly built the Nurburgring from the ground up! Impressive to some, but with too much details and lights to the point of non-necessity it turned out unrealistic and became Nurburgerkingring even at night
The Nurburgring curbs have been the same since fm6 and 7 tho? How is that built from the ground up?
@@Wayanman28th They only use laser scanning for the tracks; the graphics are not constructed from scratch.
Gran turismo more realistic
C'est sur pc , ma Xbox et ma TV c'est pas ça 🤔, c'est plus détaillé ?
Would love to see a lap of the green hell at night with thunderstorm ❤
The audio in Forza is so loud and unfiltered. Its like sandpaper to my eardrums. I'm gonna have to side with gt for this. Gt isn't perfect either but it's definitely more balanced.
GT7 wins................again - FM was such a letdown.. I was so hyped being a long term Forza fan
"again" .. I think you judge a """""Racing Game"""" only by """"TH-cam"""". I think you have never diriven in FM.
What the fuck would that accomplish@@DrTrizio
Both good games on there own way Both shit launch….. sooooo controller psysics and chase cam are the best in Forza. While details in GT are way better like the rims in GT7 are just perfect and in Forza the cars are getting dirty. Both trade blows both good games on there own.
GT7 loses. Again. Don't lie to yourself
@@DrTrizio I got it on game pass to try it out before buying and I tried to like it for at least 20-30 hours but found it very shallow and just a massive disappointment... I was wanting to spend hundreds of hours on it...
Why the hell FM2023 has the lights in the places where there isn't any in real life Nurb? GT7 is soooo spot on. Just dark, track and the car. Nothing else
so, does the car actually have 3rd brake light irl?
not on the race car. street car yes.
forza seems like a game from 2014 but rendered with modern hardware at higher resolution
When you play GT7 Nordschleife @ HDR in the night, you will blowed away! Its perfect.
Nurburgring in Gran Turismo 7 is far more realistic than in Forza Motorsport 8. Nurburgring in FM8 is way off.
Downsight of rtx is that your headlights can only reach 15 meters 😂
Forza sounds like the it’s exhaust is directed into tin bucket… I think T10 took the vacuum cleaner used in GT5 for a spin…
Both don't really sound close to the real gt3
also the rpm led's are wrong in the forza one
Actually Forza is pretty close because the real thing runs the SLS GT3 engine not a turbo AMG engine
in GT7 it doesnt have road lightning like in FM, it looks very dark and dangerous especially if we choose race in night + rain weather
And that's exactly how it goes IRL.
It's a light source after all. You can also see those bumps on the road, and then there's a glare on the bridge's sign as you approach downhill into the last couple of corners.
Racing at night is a thrilling experience, plus the Green Hell at that being the most atrocious track even now in long decades.
If I was playing I'd probably prefer Forza because I like lots of light so I can see where I'm going. GT7 is more realistic and immersive but too dark for me
Or just play it in the daytime lol
GT7 gets my vote... I love its graphics, especially in VR... the only way to play...
why start at night?
GT7 easy.. Visuals, lighting, sound. FM sounds like the car is exhausting into a freaking can. Original beats knockoff I guess, go figure.
clearly! forza exposes the entire route so everyone knows what to do... and GT7 is just more natural and professional! The lighting in GT7 is simply photorealistic!
Great video!
For me its a mix of the two. GT headlights & taillights look for sure, the track isn't littered with spotlights, and the cockpit view "movements". Would give the rest to FM, aside the constant spotlights it just looks better visually trackside and pavement but GT gets those other points.
The GP part of the track is lit, but the Nordschleife is not lit real life Nürburgring 24 Hours like forza portrays.
Don’t forget the most important:
Forza Motorsport full current gen (the more powerful Series X).
GT7 crossgen.
GT7 looks and sounds so much better! Wish this game was on PC!
Wait did they add the entire track to Forza?
Yes
Forza has XBOX 360 interiors and it drives me NUTS
Gt7 gets head lights and the way the light shines on the trees. Forza gets prettymuch everything else. Even more so in daylight. Im playing both on the regular.
😂😂
Don’t know what forzas thinking. Gran Turismo has always been a track simulator. They just can’t compete
Omg okay stop...GT7 is a beast look the details in the night sky you can see REAL constellations and stars and even part of the Milky Way. GT7 is the best!
FM8 looks like an xbox 360 game just with higher resolution
На мой взгляд в Форзе окружение красивее.А в ГТ машины более детализированы.Если бы обе игры выходили на обеих платформах то было бы супер
is forza too bright? or is it GT that is too dark?
Forza too bright. Because there is no such light in the real circuit, GT has nailed it.
yea forza looks like theres a ghetto bird right above you at all times shining its spotlight on your car like your some kind of fugitive. GT7 looks like a car driving through the forest at night. In other words, forza sucks.
Just the coolest track on Earth 💟🌌☮️
