Omg…that sounds amazing. I’m a first time mom and have a 3 week old. I just took my solly wrap out of the box. Tried to put it on but baby wasn’t too patient with me, so I’ll revisit once hubby is awake. Can’t wait to eat too! All I do is hold her.
love a stretchy wrap, and I really like how light the Solly is, but as a babywearing educator, I do not ever recommend putting baby's head under the panel; this doesn't allow them to move their head if they need to and often leads to baby being chin-to-chest, or neck hyperextended. I learned a cool trick to roll a burp cloth into the pass across the back and it works as a little extra bumper for tiny babes who still have very floppy necks!
Wow, this is complicated (not criticism but am just in awe). Us Africans (Zambia to be specific) just tie the baby once at the back and we can still move the baby to front for feeding, while doing some chores, without untying the wrapper. After feeding, just push the baby to the back and carry on with your chores. No time to criss cross or weave the wrapper around the body.... Chores have to be done. However, we can only carry a baby like this after they are 2-3 months old when their neck is stronger, otherwise you have to hold their little heads throughout.
Always great to see once people answer their own questions or falsify themselves in the same statement. Makes things noch easier, almost as easy as if they wouldn't have posted in the first place, saving their - and others' valuable time, for example for those important chores. As stated already before, that's the newborn carry, from day zero. There are of course many other options later on with a stable neck, including simple one shoulder sling carry etc.
Hello, FTM expecting. Thank you so much for this video. Could you please tell me the brand of the baby lounger your baby is in? I can’t find that same one. It looks so comfy.
Thanks for the informative video! Question-any way of letting us know what sort of pacifier your baby is using in the vid? I’ve seen this one elsewhere but I can’t find it anywhere! It looks like the shape might be easier for our 5-week old to keep in her mouth!
I think she means keep the baby's chin off of the baby's chest. Cause if their chin is on their chest, they can have a compromised airway and potentially die
A baby should never be curled so their chin is forced onto their chest, which can restrict breathing. Ensure there is always a space of at least a finger width under baby’s chin. ❤️
Gatita Santiago my baby is five weeks and this is my fourth c section I also use a girdle but it can be a little uncomfortable so I try to hold her with one handsome to not put so much pressure on c section it’s great so she can fall sleep once she is sleep I take her out I use it once a day for maybe 10 minutes .
Kinda confusing. One video I saw says to place the baby in the strap closest to the body, but then you're saying place the baby inside of the opposite strap closest to the body???????
Very helpful thank you! Does Solly sell these onesies? So cute and soft looking, but I don't see on your website! Where can I find something like this?!
Complicated and no matter what you do it gets loose. Especially for newborns their head has no actual lateral support and so links sideways. Maybe better for larger babies which, at that point, your better off with something that has structure to support your back. Looks cool. Actually use was marginal at best.
Look for the strap closest to you and then don't use it. Then why am I looking for it? Then K is for Chin and C is for Kiss? So confused? Why all backwards are things? Ok. So it feels good on. :)
Baby is 13 days old and I can't express the joy I feel at being able to hold her AND eat breakfast

This is some kind of miracle. We just had twins three weeks ago and I FINALLY can hold one and help the other! I am saved!!!

Can you explain how to do this trick??
This is the only tutorial that made sense to me. Thank you!!!
Shortest yet the most comprehensive video on the topic I’ve watched. Thank you.
Nevermind, I went back and rewatched and your explanation is perfect!
I already love it! It's so soft and comfortable when I'm sitting/standing. Truly a lifesaver!
I can’t wait to try!!! Just got mine in the mail. I’m 35 weeks pregnant with my second baby. Woohoo to alllll the baby wearing lol
Do you like it? I'm on the market for one for my second baby too.
Thank you!! I've been trying to find a video to wrap my son for weeks now and this was perfect! Thank you Thank you!!
Worked on my preemie, he’s almost 5 pounds. I’m keeping an eye on is breathing cuz he’s still little.

@@amiecharlett2372 Hi there. Sorry i can't do a video but here is a link for you from a Zambian perspective. th-cam.com/video/6e15seZjeSk/w-d-xo.html
This video is for newborns

This really isn’t that complicated LOL takes me a few seconds
Just got mine in the mail. LIFESAVERRRR for clingy babies.
There isn’t such thing as a clingy baby. They just wanna be loved 🤍
How does this help with proper positioning and maintaining airway safety as well as shoulder and hip dysplasia?
Great video, thanks 🙏 👍🏻 The safety check list is very useful.5⭐️
Best video ever! Thank you so much! It was very easy to follow! 😊
Super helpful and easy to follow! Thank you!!
Hello, FTM expecting. Thank you so much for this video. Could you please tell me the brand of the baby lounger your baby is in? I can’t find that same one. It looks so comfy.
Loungers like this are recalled (dock a tot and snuggle me)- don’t get them. They have killed and will kill more babies
Hi! How can I know when my baby is old enough to let her legs dangle out 😄
THAAAAAANK YOU. You really saved my life. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful! Short and teachable! Thank you :)
How do I wrap a 2month old baby? Classic or newborn? Thank you.
I have the same Question ? What is the length in meter ? And what this cloth called ? I can’t find online ?
I love this wrap especially for the newborn stage 😊
I saw on the site that the wrap is for minimum (8lbs). Can I still use it if my baby is smaller?
I’m wondering the same thing, have you gotten an answer?
@@hopeboatright8803 I’ve never gotten an answer. I see others put their newborns in it, so I suppose it’s fine.

Rick Jones don’t know if you’ve figured it out by now but it looks like the natursutten pacifier
It could possibly be from Mushi
May i ask how long in yards or meter or in inches is the cloth you are using in this video...thank you
what does she mean when she says “keep chin off chest”
I think she means keep the baby's chin off of the baby's chest. Cause if their chin is on their chest, they can have a compromised airway and potentially die

Is the fabric stretchable? I got mine but i wasn't stretchable
How old can you carry babies in the wrap ?
Jen as much as I know, from new born. :) Very good for your baby mental and physical health as well.
My baby hates this wrap! Why can I do?
Random - where is the swaddle from that you have the baby wrapped in?? Is it from Solly as well?
IF you have a C-Section how do you wrap your baby?
Gatita Santiago my baby is five weeks and this is my fourth c section I also use a girdle but it can be a little uncomfortable so I try to hold her with one handsome to not put so much pressure on c section it’s great so she can fall sleep once she is sleep I take her out I use it once a day for maybe 10 minutes .

Where can I purchase one? I've been searching the stores and no luck.
My baby is 7lb. Is he too small for this?

Adore this!! What Specific Brand of Diaper is used on yur Beautiful Baby?!
what wrap were you using to wrap the baby in the dokatot? the pink one?
thank you for the awesome
detailed video
What size does the cloth is? Yard or meter?

How much does it cost??

this tutorial is also perfect if you bought a Solly Baby to carry a cat

As a mechanical engineer, I do not recommend this. But the one that is a “backpack” style.
I’m always bothered by the long hair bothering the baby
Explanation is waaay too fast
I’m 13 (soon 14)

But I’m watching baby videos

Youre hair..
It was definitely annoying me that she wouldn’t move her damn hair! Lol

The MOST complicated product for new moms. Do not recommend at all.
It’s really not it just take practice
This crappy jingle startled by newborn.
Way too fast for a teaching video!
