Hands on Katie's Underware cable management system is the BEST. I love that it's been blowing up like this! (and of course the Multiboard base tiles are pretty awesome, too)
I have never seen a better reason to own a 3D printer, and I have watched MANY 3D printing videos, I am gonna remember this system whenever I finally get one.
Now *I* want a 3D printer. Love your videos and would I would be a sucker for a more in depth video on starting out in 3D printing with this system. What should you get if you have $500, $1000, $1500, $2000 to get started?

good that someone liked it. i don't get this video at all. you can do the same with pieces of plastics and 2-sided tape. a lot faster and cheaper and leave printer for something that needs it.
I got a feeling this is going to pull me down a rabbit hole. That cable management looks so good, and being able to do it all with a $300 3D printer sounds amazing just for trial and error.
Could you include the links to the 3D files you printed in this video (assuming they’re all publicly available)? I’m especially interested in the MagSafe monitor mount.
I think if you Search for Hands on Katie and then Underwear System you’ll find the original creator’s video and all the files. At least this looks very similar. So even if it’s not the same it might help you until Quinn can share his source 😁
I appreciate the subtle detail of talking about wall count for strength rather than the common not quite, but almost myth that infill is the way to strengthen the prints. (For anyone who is wondering "what???" think pipes. A pipe is almost as strong as a bar, because the outside is where most of the strength you care about comes from. That plus some other factors is why if you want a stronger part, you want the shell to be thicker as opposed to infill, which is really just there to hold the roof up while printing)
this video is an all-timer! Love it so much. I've never ever ever been even tempted by a 3d printer. But now, I think our love for desk/office organization and for cheap mid-century modern designs... may have us getting one (or paying my bestie to use one of his) soooooon. Love this video so much. It's gospel. i'm forever changed.

I only recently found Hands On Katie (who is the creator of the Underware 3D model), she is absolutely lovely at what she does in the DIY community. She deserved to be featured in your video as she also had a introduction video about the Underware which was completely hilarious
Firing my 3 Bambu Lab printers up and beginning my organization. My cable management has always been a "problem" but I am super stoked to get this under control. I thoroughly like your methodology with power cables and data cables being able to be accessed. Really great ideas.

LTT had zoning issues with their Langley house as it was not zoned for business use but residential use. Hence they had to move their operations elsewhere.
One thing to keep in mind having those printers on folding tables, even with vibration calibration, the speed that the bambu X1C prints at normally will cause a LOT of motion. If you get poor resolution, putting it on a more solid surface will help.
I'm super happy to see Hands On Katie's Underware getting more exposure! It's such a simple, elegant way to manage your cables and it's a thing that can grow with your needs. I'm currently printing my own set (still on a CR10 so printing the multiboard frames takes like 12 hours per frame which suuuuuucks).
The peg board he shows would be a few dozen cents to print, not accounting for power. PLA costs about 20 bucks per kilogram, and a print like that would really only be maybe 30-40 grams, so about 80 cents. The other bits would be maybe twice that.
@@alexwebster9539 the printers cost a lot and it takes a few dozen to hundreds of hours to get them calibrated and learn how to use them (or you go the easy but expensive route and get a Bambu Lab printer for even more money) but the plastic is cheap
