it's legitimately insane to me the level of quality these videos have, I don't think I've seen comparable anywhere else. Really putting these other youtubers to shame!
For the sunrise shots I would recommend you to make a big cardboard to simulate the window and put the spotlight on the big sliding tripod, so everything will look more natural. The way you are currently using is looking like the sun and the window are moving at the same time. :)
P.S. If you have a balcony, you can just put the spotlight there on the sliding tripod.
This but also you want the light to rotate on its axis, not slide.

this literally just cured my depression and I'm gonna start creating again!
Everything is so thoughtful and well made. The toothbrush sander is such a creative way to re-purpose.
Oh man.. I'm speechless. What a video! It's perfect. But not perfect necessary in the sense that everything is flawless but perfect in the sense that the production is super well made but there are (I assume) compromises on certain shots/scenes to not spend too much time on them but still make them great.
So to me, this is better then perfect because believe me, as someone who has strived for "perfection" in a lot of things in life I can confidently say that that is the wrong approach because I never produce any work since I'm never content with the execution.
So it's like balm on my soul watching your videos since it's so clear to me that you (and you team/family) has great skills and attention to detail but you don't let that take over to the point you don't compromise. All the hats off to you, I'm amazed and love watching your videos and it gives so much inspiration, so thank you! Happy holidays and see you here next year ✨❤

Amazing production as always - the gear info is great but would love to see a video about how you shoot your content for us beginners - as in how you use those lights for some of your beautiful shots, you mentioned color grading so camera settings like do you just use the raw/grey footage and then what your color grading process is like, etc. I love re-watching your videos and trying to imagine how you get these shots and transitions

Those mini-rigs/jibs/sliders are awesome. And the mic stand "tripods" are a good idea too. You're right that they're not stable and would never be usable on a crew shoot, but would work great on a DIY/one-man shoot.

For #30, a lot of makers recommend the 3m green acrylic putty, but the white absolutely makes sense for your applications. 👍

I love the stupidly simple things that make work flow a lot easier. I ended up getting the id cards and dry erase markers for small lists from last year. I may try the sanding trick
