Grandma didn’t protect her , even when she explained her story smh 🤦
You do what you know. People deal with pain and stress differently. I’ve forgiven myself and her🙏
“Children should be seen and not heard” was the detriment of so many young people back in the day, and even now.
Shame on our elders for blaming and shaming us! “You must have enjoyed it” is thee most demeaning and cruel thing a “trusted” person could say to a victim.

@@MichelleSpeakzThat part hit me hard. I went through the same and I told my grandmother whom I lived with and was raised by and she asked me " So what do u want me to do?" That's was 20 years ago I was 16. I'll be 36 in May and still can't get over it.
Her grandmother actually set her up. Who leaves a little girl with a grown man, especially an unstable grown man? People try to say they trust these men but their response to the abuse shows they had malicious intent.

Wow,..😮🥺 You most definitely are a strong woman,.. I had a sister who at the time had just turned 17 and had that happen to her twice before her 18th birthday 😢😮💨😠😩 She wasn't as strong as you,..she couldn't deal with it and ended up commiiting suicide 2 days after Christmas that year!!!😮💨 We are 11 months apart at age, so I was 17 and two weeks later she turned 18!😩 I am SOOOOO SO SORRY you had to deal with all that at such a young age!!!! My best friend ended up telling me her stepdad was sa abused her since she was 8 yrs old he made her take Polaroid photos naked if she wanted to go out and her mum knew and allowed it sadly she she died in 2017 of cancer 😢 I confronted them both with disgust and they then sold there house and moved to a different location do not know where

Sweet lady. Your story it’s not different from mine, the only difference is that in my country it’s normal and if you dare to complain it’s your fault. One time a guy that I thought was my friend almost raped me and told my friend she said it was my fault because of the way I dress and I believed her.
