GM intentionally designs injectors to fail the way they're doing so. They think of it as job security. What do you think

Thanks for the info....but I think fuel injectors test on scan tool is useless. Vehicle come in with cold misfire & set code P050D. I performed fuel injectors test with scan tool. All injectors on bank 2 dropped from 38 to 41 psi, all injectors on bank 1 dropped from 26 to 30 psi. When cold start up, I able to see misfire on cylinders 1, 3 & 5 ( bank 1 ). I replaced all 4 injectors on bank 1 only. After that, the truck runs beautiful, no more misfire, no codes. But I performed fuel injectors test with scan tool again & found all BRAND NEW injectors on bank 1 was drop from 27 to 31 psi

Why wasn't an injector cleaning procedure done on it before replacing the injectors.

These are Direct Injection injectors. They have to be removed to be cleaned properly and nobody local has tehthe equipment to do the job. Port injectors can be cleaned on car but not DI injectors.

I'm going through the same problem right now 2016 Silverado 85,000 miles it's a shame I'm not at 100,000 miles and already problems.
