Speaking of finding rare Amiibo, me and my friend once looked at the Wind Waker amiibo two pack at Meijer and said "Eh we'll see those later". Current price: $118.
One time I found a wind water link amiibo at toys r us when they were closing, it was upside down in the box which somehow would probably make it worth more and it was 60% off yet I walked past it

Curse Sonic games for no reason? I mean, yeah, Sonic has had a certain number of classic games the past decade or two, but you can't deny that Sonic's career has been kinda rocky ever since Sega got swallowed up by Nintendo, all things considered.
(Don't hate me, I'm just a general observer of the Sonic franchise, I have no intention of invoking riots at my door.)

2 of the best dungeons in fire emblem echoes were locked behind the alm and celica amiibo, and since I got the game a while after launch I couldnt find them for a fair price.
I agree with your opinion on Amiibos, I remember my friends getting me the ike and pit amiibo from Japan as a birthday gift in 2015 because of how impossible they were to find in Canada.

I agree on the amiibo restocks killing the magic of amiibo collecting. They kind of messed up because the initial stock was SO limited, you could show up and wait for hours before a store opened and still often strike out. To fix this they swung back too far the other way and made the gaming section just piled up with formerly rare amiibo

I think it's funny that Nintendo is basically saying they want to forget the Wii U existed,they basically just ported all the major Wii U games to switch,Mario maker 2,Mario 3D world, Pikmin 3 deluxe, Mario kart 8 deluxe,and smash ultimate is basically a deluxe smash 4 with air dodge and more stages/fighters
