Oof, I had both of those plushies at one point. Luigi got lost when I was moving houses, and my best friend from third grade destroyed Mario during recess. FeelsBadMan
this is so fun to watch as someone who enjoys collecting but doesn't always have the funds to do it I always hope to find something that I normally wouldn't be able to get my hands on! Really inspiring stuff love your videos and keep up the great content
Trust me, if you collect for a while you will find some crazy stuff, for instance I found a copy of Ninja Five-O for $15 on eBay, and I got the Famicom GameBoy Micro at a yard sale for £20 on my way to pick up my Arms pre-order. Seriously, go to yard sales, people rarely know what they have!
My rarest thing in my tiny collection are the Squid sisters amiibo's, and another Callie in box. They are worth pretty much these days. And i didn't got them when they were in stores
Man, I love how your videos are short sweet and to the point. No overblown production or unnecessary backlog, just the facts, some little tidbits of your own, and a beautifully flowing video.
The reason why the mario & luigi plush toys are rare becuase some plush chanel used them for there videos and now that fanbase is trying 2 track down the plushs
Excellent video and nice items to share! I would be happy seeing more rare items and looking forward to the story of the IQ Player since I am a big fan of the N64
Hey there Nintendrew, been loving your videos!!! I have quite a few things in my Nintendo collection myself, including Mario-themed playing cards and a Mario and Peach badge, both of which were from Club Nintendo. I even own a Nintendo Switch badge
@@TheSmart-CasualGamer I don't even know if the have one in South America they are trying to "be" in brazil with a Brazilian Eshop but like they don't sell games or switches
Other good ways to build a collection in general 1. ALWAYS CHECK CLEARANCE SECTIONS 2. Yard sales 3. Buy cheap stuff (a little more in depth but even if you dont own a system a lot of 1-5 dollar games/figures comics can help you build a decent sized collection in a short time and hey you might even find some hidden gems that no one talks about ) 4. good will/thrift stores 5. Ebay lots
This is really neat! I'm not a collector myself, but its always awesome to have some insight on the collector world, especially that of video games and merch! Can't wait to see the iQue video as well!
with the prices as of writing this comment The most expensive/rareist things in my collection would be: A complete with case and manual copy of Gitaroo man for the ps2 65-100$ (found it years back at a half price books and I had a 25% off coupon so I paid like 25 I think?) A factory sealed Gamecube Broadband Adapter 150-200$ (found it at goodwill for 6$) The Sonic adventure soundtrack(Digi-LOG Conversation release) which is 160-210$, (found it at the same goodwill) My copy of earthbound which is around 160-220$ (mom got me it for my birthday back in 07) A complete with memory card and cable copy of pokemon box which is around 250-300$ (payed 60ish like 10 years ago)
About those Mario and Luigi plushes, back when in like probably 2008 or something, I got a Mario plush, and a Luigi plush, however, ever since then, I have never ever seen another Mario or Luigi plush that looks exactly like mine.
I'm speechless, these items are pretty rare and awesome. I once saw a golden n64 controller like yours, priced around 50$. I didn't think of it as much, but I was really wrong
I honestly think that the iQue thing looks really cool. The button layout is closer to the GameCube controller and it doesn't has the third leg from the n64
LittleNick I found that and a not for resale Zelda GameCube title as well at a flea market I bought them both I already knew about Master Quest but I looked up the other not for Resale and learned it can go up for at least 120 I paid 15 for it
Just found your channel and want to say I really like it and your collection. Really makes me want to start collecting more and makes me feel regret for the dumb trades/sales I did of my old stuff as a kid.
With Toys R Us just having closed all of its US stores, that gold N64 controller will earn more value over time especially with its great condition you got it in. You have some cool stuff here, nice video!
Interesting... I've only recently started collecting. Nothing rare to note, as of yet. But this makes me hope I run into any of these things. And yeah, you should do another one of these! I like them!
Nintendrew please read this comment: I went to west ky 4-h camp and i just came home.I went to play disc golf and some other campers were in a conversation about youtubers. All of a sudden, this woman said her son was a youtuber for his job.We asked her what the channel name was,and she answered Nintendrew! I was very surprised,as I have been watching your videos for a long time now.
It motivates me to the core hearing an avid collector with "limited" funds! Currently I'm in college, and collecting is quite difficult due to insufficient funds. Nevertheless, I'm persistent! Thanks for your great videos Nintendrew!
Probably the rarest item I have in my collection is a Super Mario Galaxy 2 poster that my grandfather got from GameStop when the game came out in 2010! I have never found the same poster on eBay since!
I am so jealous of that Jackbros cartridge. I collect SMT/Persona games and that is one of the two I'm currently missing, the other being Revelation: Persona. ONEDAY I WILL HAVE A COMPLETE COLLECTION...
You should list their current value (which you did) and what you got them for (which you did for some) when you added them to your collection, would be really interesting!!
I like this list. it makes me feel like I have a fair collection that is neither better nor worse than what is pictured as these items are super rare but not completely impossible to ever obtain without selling vital organs illegally and then purchasing said items sold as stolen on the deep web. So, yeah, love this. :3
I didnt know those Mario and Luigi plushies were that rare and in demand. I have the Mario one which I got at the employee Nintendo store at Redmond headquarters.
I have always found that shops like Vintage Stock are pretty decent places to look. Of course flea markets and garage sales are the places to go to find some interesting items.
the rarest item I have in my overall collection of things, mainly because of sentimental value -that I paid too much for but hey I bought it anyway- is a vaporeon plush I got and love from toys r' us online, just a bit before it closed.
2:30 a other likely reason is because of the plush adventure videos on TH-cam like Sml uses the Mario Party 5 plush and Bowser while the Luigi is used by MarioMario8989 people watch the video and want that plush
People... he affords his hobby by not buying other non-essentials. Raise your hand if your financing an expensive car! Imagine how many games you could buy every month for the same amount..
Yes but I have a vast collection of items gathered over the last nearly 40 years from atari lynx to gameking 2, I've never thrown anything away and even have sealed unused consoles. But then I got woken up by banging at my door and people screaming the roofs on fire. It was indeed on fire in the fear and rush I only grabbed my keys and a photo album. Although in the end only a few things suffered damage and it was fresh clean water that did that damage it has completely changed my view on material goods its really not worth clogging your home up with things like this, it can all be gone in an instant and is ultimately better off in museums
Man, if that works for you, that's great - different strokes. In my mind, I'm essentially running a museum of my own 😉 and these items are safer in my collection than rotting in an attic or sitting in the sun at a flea market.
Okay, so when you showed off those Mario Party 5 plushes, I remembered that I had those same plushes too. So after some digging in my closet, I found them (Although in a slightly roughed-up condition with the buttons missing and Luigi's L is gone on his hat). Crazy how some toys I had as a kid hold such a crazy value. Edit: After doing some research, I can confirm that the plushes I have are the real deal, same tags listed on various ebay auctions and everything. However, they have some minor damages such as missing buttons except for Mario's right button and Luigi's L sticker missing on his cap. Hopefully they are still worth a fair price.
One time at a Goodwill I found an old Kodak color instant print camera with a strange history and production run, and it could go from 200 to around 750 U.S. dollars on eBay and other sites, and my dad would let me get it. (TT)
If you have a P.O box you should do fan mail stuff
I have! The address is in the description - I just literally haven't received anything in months. 😂
Nintendrew oh lol 😂
Nintendrew And this folks is why more people need to read the description
Nintendrew I am going to make you a huge box full of awesome Nintendo stuff soon! I just havent had the time yet.

Pikamon101 but didn’t they do a Nathaniel special edition?
InteractiveHero No, that was a seperate model. Though they have a Nathaniel: Pink Gold Edition!
Pikamon101 but it’s not melee!

Still cant believe how expensive that Mario plush is
its the same plush as supermariologan uses.
Yep, everyone wants them because SuperMarioLogan and CuteMariobros each use them.

Cool Guy Games 1998 FRICK OFF but at the same time you are right

Who else would have an iQue but Nintendrew
simpleflips has 200 of them
Pretty sure REREZ has one. I remember him making a whole video on it
Shane from Rerez reviewed one he got
Correct
My rarest thing in my tiny collection are the Squid sisters amiibo's, and another Callie in box.

IKR? The build of that Mario plush brings bad memories.
Lol you mean those freaking SML people, my cousins watch them and I am disappointed
Turqou well to be honest i like the old vids
I heard that Scott the Woz has a one-of a kind Sonic 2 cartridge with a pen streak on it, nothing you have compares to it tbh
oh yeah i remember that🤣
well i have a gamecube that has a black marker dot on it so....
