A fun trick I found when I first got EXP walker was that holding the control stick right at the edge of the standing and walking zones will cause the character to perform this weird stutter step that racks up EXP much faster than standard walking or running do! It's tough to get the controller to stay right at that zone for a long period of time, but if you manage to get it to stay just right, it would make this challenge MUCH swifter!
If you meld an aero and magnet without using any crystal there is an small chance to get the exp walker ability. You can get these commands at the very start of the game whit the command board.
Hahaha this is the best thing ever 😂. I am definitely going to do this challenge myself. I love endurance challenge runs where the question being answered is not if it is possible to do this but more if you will be sane by the end of having it done. One of my favorite trophies on a website known as Kongregate was an impossible trophy that I can't remember the name of the trophy and I am only pretty sure the game was called Gem Craft. The description of the trophy though was (slight paraphrasing here): Go outside, your family misses you. I though that this trophy though a little bit harder in endurance and a lot harder in skill is very similar to the run around to get to 99 in the "you did what!?!" combined with the "it took how long!?!" mentality. Just for clarity. Impossible is a difficulty 4 of 4 trophy it is given out pretty sparingly, for games that have trophies, at least 85% of them don't have even 1 impossible trophy. Though I can't remember exactly I don't think (unlike all other difficulties) you can have a second one in a game. For people that have a few impossible trophies though the description is accurate. This is claimed by many to require broken levels of endurance and the greatest endurance run of any trophy on the site. Especially at the time in which the first few got it.
This actually seems like a good way to cheese some easy-ish levels in the early game. Why does this seem like an actual cheese strat. This truly is the Pokemon Daycare grind equivalent for Kingdom Hearts of all time
If I remember right, the PS4 controller dead zone only applies to the original release of 2.5 on PS3 - IE, using a PS4 controller on your PS3. It was *definitely* a thing that cost me a few game overs, and I don't recall such an issue happening with 1.5+2.5 on PS4
Trying this on PS5 since May 16th. Got some deadzones-yet managed to get a night where Terra was still running since I last checked. Got him from 38-67 (with 12 levels of Skull Rock grinding in between) Trying with Ventus from LV42 to a similar level this week. Something ive noticed is that I get a longer running session without deadzoning If my TV is on. Usually dead zoning faster if I turn on my TV to check, then turn it off. May just let my TV go to sleep mode to get these levels. An amusing (yet wasteful energy-wise) way to get this grind while I grind at my day job 😌. Especially in hype for the KH collection coming to Steam.
Is it really that much weirder than FF8 both encouraging you to grind for the magic system, and heavily punishing you for grinding too much with harsh scaling?
@@1stCallipostle I think it's a bit worse as they cap your stats as well as have floors to kind of make levels not super important, and they apparently even cap your party member's damage after the first one essentially making them heal bots and limit machines rather than an actual RPG party.
DDD and KH 3 did this well by not having a hard cap, and instead just halving any excess damage you would deal past a certain point If you want to grind for an unreasonable amount of time to do more damage, you can still do it, but it's more work and time than just learning the boss's patterns if you really are having that much of a problem with them
@@reddodeado301 Still not sure I'd call it well. Like, the grind itself is already a bit of a punishment for going the brute force route isn't it? Why actively make stats less important? At a certain point, why even have the RPG elements anyway and just make it a more traditional action platformer if you're going to limit stats and even party members like that?
@@JosephJohns-xi1qbtbf about that second one, irrc theres was an old KH2 mod video showcasing why party members got their damage and hitstun nerfed super hard in boss fights; it basically showed their abilities are infact otherwise too good at handling bosses that they can do it on their own a la KH3 Roxas lol
If you had this game on PC you could have ran this in the background with a binded hot key. Im sure you know that but you Might think of switching, theres a bunch of cool challenges you could come up with in the PC version KH games that you cant do on console.

A video for that?
Bro I'm Ngl I've thought of this video idea but decided it was too crazy. You absolutely mad man
It’s still crazy 🫠. But only the most crafty people can go through this… and apparently someone did

I powerleveled in FFXII on PS2 using ulililia's powerleveling guide back in the day.
yeah i got to level 99 in like an hour about 60% trough the game's story with the skeletons in the forest.
Yeah, BBS damage caps you on bosses. But still, the science of the challenge is thrilling!
And something a lot of people don't know is that critical hits in BBS are the only way to go above said damage cap!
Thank you for your service, elbow juice! 🤣
Wow this challenge looked hard… bet you could say it took *elbow juice*
the smart thing to do would have been to use Terra and just use sacrifice because it can't kill you but it lowers your hp
Hahaha this is the best thing ever 😂.

Huge respect for the Phineas and Ferb reference.
Damn Braig and MF!!! Fantastic video AND concept!

Getting to 99 already takes way too long when doing it the regular way, so this is certainly a thing.

Wonderful
Huge Respect to your time👌
I must say, despite being a lot of time it's a lot less than grinding at KH2 at the prologue
Stuff like damage ceilings is just so odd to me. KH is like the one RPG that fights the hardest against its RPG elements.

Bro what is that song I’m tryna remember what game it’s from and it’s killing me lol
The songs are from the forest level in Mario Odyssey, mute city in smash, and pokemon black/white. I forget some of the names sorry lol
Yeee the forest level was what I was referring to. Appreciate it brother!
I like being a little over leveled but this is excessive 🤣
Men will wear down their controller and not use AutoHotKeys
