Another thing to note about Victory Pose is that it's the last exp you gain. So if you move after killing an enemy with exp walker on you'll just get 3 exp thanks to exp walker. So, super not worth using if you forget to turn that off.
Fun Fact: If you're not above save scumming, you can get EXP Walker before your first world. 1) Do the Keyblade Command Board and get the bonus Blizzard Command in the center of the map, down a few from the starting check point (Or you can steal one from an opponent.) After this, you'll need one more blizzard (Or your starting Aero as Ven) 2)Level them up to level 3, which can be done easily with Command board 3) Save Before Melding just in case you don't get your desired outcome. 4) Meld your Blizzard and Blizzard (or Aero) together with no gem and eventually you'll end up with Blizzara with EXP Walker before you finish your first world. (Really useful for Aqua since her physical attack is near 0)
when I recently redid Terra's story, with the Steam port, my first Zero Gravira, by pure accident, had EXP Walker... I knew I was in for a fun time since it was before my first world there too... Ven and Aqua, I waited to get the crystal for it, but Terra was fun to get it for right away

It's been a long time since I did this on the PSP. All I remember is crafting Mega Flare over and over again, going to a Radiant Garden area where the 3 of them fought a boss and spamming MF there. Lol
I remember another spot you could go for, in the space station you had one room that spawned 2 or 3 waves of blobmob unversed (those jellyfish floaters), used the same method, exp chance + 4 megaflare. Because I got clapped by Terranort, it meant that I couldn't go to radiant garden to grind levels with Aqua, so that other spot was a nice alternative.
Bro.. The amount of times I've left my ps2 on over night to grind exp, money or whatever.. Ratchet and Clank 1 for example.. Clipping out of bounds, holding down the attack button all night with some weights, attacking with the airhorn weapon on the racetrack, infinite bolts.
I don't want to be that person, but i just made so many fira to make the magic haste. Through experience the melding ingredients for it is 2 Fire rather than 2 fira. Besides that miniscule mistake. This was an amazing guide! Thank you!
As a heads up for new players, the exp walker rubberband or tape trick only works on some versions of bbs. For example, if I remember correctly it doesn't work on the ps3 version of 2.5, but it does work on the ps4 version
An alternative to putting a rubber band or sticky tape on the DS4 analogue stick is hold the analogue stick one direction and then tap the Share button. You then can let go of the analogue stick and the PS4 will presume the analogue stick is still being held until the Share menu is closed. Better than damaging or wearing out the analogue stick.
The best way in the psp version at least was the arena where you fought trinity armor. In the post game, the world level is raised quite a bit. All you need are two mega flares to kill the two massive spawns that show up. IN the psp version, there was actually this glitch that prevented either Ven or Terra's worlds from getting that post game world level upgrade. So, you are stuck with very low level enemies for level grinding.
If you're playing this on PC, which you probably are if you're watching this now, seems making a macro that holds down the WASD keys with EXP walker don't work as some shmuck has seemingly decided to program in an automatic stop into the game after about a minute of the same input. However, this can seemingly be bypassed by making your macro release and hold the key again every minute.
I just held it with my thumb on my steam deck while I watched something and was worried something was wrong when I would randomly stop. I don't get why they would complicate it unless they were worried the exploit encourages people to overheat their computers.
I think it's more efficient to use victory pose after the first wave instead of two mega flares and ignore the second wave completely. Two megaflares gets you 1,100 while one and a pose gets you 1,360 on critical. Doing this method I was able to average 300k in an hour.
most of my leveling in bbs is during command grinding, I've gained plenty of levels by just grinding for as many commands as I can for the attached abilities early on
Firaga and Aero do not make crawling fire. You have the recipes backward on the recipes, if anyone else is making a million fission fires before realizing

I was going to say that there's no way that BBS is worse to level up in compared to ReCom. But then I realised I only thought that because there isn't a max level trophy. The ReCom plat would be so much more enjoyable if they just didn't include max level trophy like with BBS
This is why I MUCH prefer to play these games on the PC. Just download a cheat table and turn on the experience muliplier to 100. I only ever do this once I've finished the game's main storyline and it cuts down grind time significantly.

I thought BBS was a pain to grind in! If all three methods aren’t really engaging might as well do the method with the least amount of work. Sure it would take a while to walk to 99 but I can do other things in that time!
