Just bought a RIGID and have watch several videos on using it, and this is the best video I've seen yet including RIGID's how to video. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Thank you! This is so helpful and you were careful to explain everything and show everything so clearly. What a great gift to those of us who must try to make do on our own! God bless you sir.
I’m a renter, but I don’t like bugging my landlord… and I wanna learn to do this myself. Thanks for the video 👌🏻. I’m gonna go buy those tools tomorrow. My clog is somewhere behind the wall. I tried a cheap, 2-3 foot hand snake, but I couldn’t reach the clog. We’ll see 🤷♂️
Hey Cory. Good luck. Let me know how it goes. Remember don't let any slack on the cable. It will tangle . Keep it 6 inches or les from drain. Remember to bend it a bit so it goes down. Use a flash light.
I just did my bathroom sink not too long ago but I did not cleared the pipes with the snake ( I don't have one). Nice video. next time I have to clear a sink I will make sure I use the snake to clear the pipes in the wall. Thanks for the video.

Hello Ted. Is always better to apply Teflon paste or and tape. It still had traces of the paste and since is a low pressure drain, the chances of leaking are slim. If it was supply water... yes. always!! Thank you so much Ted. See you around1
@@alexthehandyman3494yes brother, I made sure it went down and put full 25 ft snake in, when pulled back nothing came out and then I put a 5 gal bucket of water in each at the same time and it was draining good until the very end it stopped draining again. Help bro !
@@alenbazarov3039 Maybe you just need a longer snake. You can rent one from Home Depot . Get a 5/16 or 3/8 50 or 70 ft.long. Is this the kitchen drain? How far from the main? Usually the main is by where a toilet is? If this is a kitchen, this is a branch and eventually has to reach the main. Keep me posted. One more thing, Is this pipe 1 1/2 to 2 inch? If is bigger the snake might coil and not go all the distance.
My kitchen sink was clogged for 3 days, after listening to your vedio, I did all but the line, and it is clear! Thank you!
Im so glad for you. Thank you so much for your comment.
Thank you! This helped so much. I did not think of using a plunger. It worked!

Is Teflon required?

Looks like the stuff in the p-trap was the issue
Mine is still clogged with the 25 foot snake.
Did you make sure it went down. Did you see it physically, If it went up then you went through the vent. It needs to go down. Let me know.
