    Your running commentary and imaginary comments made by the figures had me smiling and chuckling. I had these guys when I was a kid and they're long gone now. I'm looking at them at a nearby hobby store for 8.99 CAD. The figures are definitely dated in their molding quality, but the poses are great and I have a box of Mini-Art and Master Box K-98s, MP40s, ammo pouches, canteens, bread bags, bayonets etc etc I would use to help out the details...

    Thanks mate, they are good value, and can still be made to good, with some careful clean up and painting.

    I’ve these lads awaiting assembly as we speak...lovely detail and your painting technique works so wonderfully with Tamiya kits (and Reaper products while we’re at it) 👍

    Good value, I think the original mould dates back to the 70,s

      Yes mate I agree I was sure some of these figure kits were well and truly a lot earlier than the mid 80s I thought the 70s as well as my older brothers had them as kids, that is how I got started in modelling looking at all their old made up Tamiya kits. I need to investigate better , thanks for comment :)

    If I remember correctly the decals did look like they were tad to big, but better than nothing. Like you say great for practicing on. I'm only just getting into figures after too may years to rember just throwing away the figures that came with the kits. I did try the odd one or so and remember getting a set of figures to see if they were any different to the ones that came with kit.

    Kit might fetch around $12-18 today August 2020 . Local, lone Hobby shop here anyway. Still a decent price. German figures seem to run a bit more over American figures.

    • @MrBMBuilder
      @MrBMBuilder  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Geez that price is high for $US

    • @edhorst7212
      @edhorst7212 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Higher price reflects on the Afrika Corps Germans actually.
      As mentioned with the British WWI figures, with the covid stay home many kits once on shelves have disappeared. Hesitate and next day no more. German figures seem to be more money anyway

      @@MrBMBuilder I built this kit as a kid in the 1990s, along with the assault troops and machine gun team. Those were some of my earliest German builds. I also always thought that #8 was weird, so when I rebuilt the kit in the 2000s, I converted him into somebody being shot, since he looks like he is collapsing.
