Hey guys, I’m in my 60’s and I can’t tell you what a breath of fresh air Nightwish is. You know what has happened to music in the past twenty years. I hurt for young folks that will never hear someone like Queen for the first time while cruising in the car. It was like Magic. Certainly there wasn’t a band like Nightwish accept maybe the Moody Blues as you mentioned or Pink Floyd. I have hope for young people that music will make its way out of the production studio and back to live bands. Not debating good or bad but when you have my catalog it makes it more difficult to find quality music in this day and age.
Nah that was the right video. Wembley is pretty good as well since it shows her growling a little more clearly but overall this one is more fun. Nice reaction again guys.

I really like this particular recording because it shows that they’re just as good in a small venue as they are at the festival scale. Play with the same energy and passion regardless of the crowd size. I like to see that level of drive in a band. :)

Yes Nightwish music is like a journey, you just can't predict their song but they have something unique that we/fans are still can recognize it's Nightwish song. If you wanna continue to explore Floor Jansen with different style of her singing I recomended 'STARGAZERS'- Live from Tampere.
The Wembly version of this one is really good. But I definitely like this version better. You just get a better sense of Floor in this one. She looks particularly gigantic in this one. And it's cool to see them in a much smaller venue.

This is a fun song. I will bother you again to check out Devin Townsend. Kingdom or Deadhead live at Royal Albert Hall. Floor and Devin have collaborated on a couple projects before she joined Nightwish.

Guys that has to be a rule, if your are a guest which we are here then act like one and make it easy for the hosts to do your request...add the link it takes a few seconds and saves them from scrambling around and wondering if it is the one that the fan wanted!!! The band loves this event, up close and personal with your fans (imagine how the fans feel being this close to the band) and just look at their faces as they are performing here, having a blast with their friends and fans!!! I swear that when Floor starts belting out this song the ship had to list about 20 degrees, no fear though it wouldn't dare sing with her on board!!! I am sure by now you are buried with the NW army requests, my only advice always go for the LIVE version when ever possible and always LIVE if Floor is the vocalist. Floor has been doing this since she was 16 (singing in a band) and has worker her butt off training her voice for her career and it shows!!!Now 20+ years later she has an outstanding band that will NEVER ever overpower her during any LIVE performance, she does hold back sometimes when Marco has the lead during a certain duet but otherwise look out when the Valkyrie Goddess starts her vocal performance!!!

I've never been a fan of the growling, but Nightwish knows when to do it and they do it right. Some bands growl too much.
