Before you do Poet and the Pendulum you need to research the back story. The lyrics would be hard to understand. It is an emotional song. Also if you do the one with lyrics it doesn't seem to be blocked. What she does with her hair is called the windmill...... :-) That is why I love them, because you never know what you are going to get!
@@TheBandSShow Somewhere after the the second song in this concert I think, Marco tells the audience they have a new prescence in their midst and calls Floor their very own "Flying Dutch Woman"😁😍😎
The only thing I would wish for Nightwish is a bigger popularity in the US. Consider this: when they come over to the US they play for venues of max 5,000 people while everywhere else they have audiences of at least 25,000. Wacken for instance hosts 82,000+ people! So what would be nice is gaining many US 'ambassadors' - like you guys - willing to 'spread the word'. Make them better known and more famous in the US. They surely deserve it!
For Poet and the Pendulum you’ll need to pause every so often to avoid the copyright strike. That’s a song where understanding the bands backstory will help with context.
Wiyh "Poet And The Pendulun" you have 5 sections and if you do it with lyrics you know where to pause, alsoo read a little bit of the back story why the song was written. Did you allready see the first female vocal of Nightwish ? "Phantom of The Opera"live by Nightwish will give you a good grasp of her vocals and alsoo Marka shines as "The Phantom" 😍😎👌

In the original studio version of this song the operatic part that Floor sings was done by a complete choir, as the singer at that time could not do the operatic voice. In fact in "Ghost Love Score" the last 90 seconds or so were redone by Floor and Thomas to take advantage of Floor's vocal range.

Unbelievable the way Floor performs. But if I could be in Nightwish, I'd want to be JUKKA! He is ferocious the way he literally stalks his drum. Unreal. And the guy who isn't reacting at all, must be deaf, a narc, or an over protective parent who bought his kid a ticket and hadda go watch. LOL!
B and S; I have to mention the drummer who I think was the best stick man in this genre; Jukka Nevalainen. IIRC he is a founding member of the band and was their only drummer until 2014. Unfortunately, in that year, Jukka had to leave the band due to his ongoing battle with chronic insomnia. Here is his Wiki bio; en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jukka_Nevalainen

The Greatest Show On Earth at Tampere. Phantom of the Opera from the End of an Era Concert sung by their original singer Tarja in their last concert together before she was fired. Poet and the Pendulum was written by Tuomas to deal with his depression arising from the firing of Tarja, who was a long time friend where he commits suicide through the song rather than in real life. If you like Marco singing, he does a song called Smile While Your Lips Are Still Red. Sleeping Sun by Tarja is awesome. My Walden is Celtic in feel. She's My Sin is heavier. Nemo is a good song. Not even sure when to stop. Lol.
There are a couple of easy things to avoid getting Copyright strike of Poet and the Pendulum. Pausing for short reflection between each section, is what I've seen the most.
Poet & Pendlum is best to react from the Wembley concert: many have managed to share that. You could also pause the videos, often that seems to help to get it thru.
It would be really eye-opening for you guys to read about and listen to the early Nightwish with their first singer and Founding Member Tarja Turunen. Ann can certainly help you out with any questions you might have. Like Floor, Tarja is Classically trained as a Mezzo Soprano while Floor is considered a Dramatic/Lyric Soprano(I think). This is their performance in 2006 at Hartwall Areena in Helsinki. It was to be Tarja's last with the band. She was dismissed the next day. I believe Ever Dream was the first song they performed so here it is; th-cam.com/video/rnVx0PWiDcg/w-d-xo.html
Little backstory, this song was written for the previous singer Anette Olsson that has a more rock pop voice. The "original" version is cool (we love and appreciate the previous singer and respect her contribution to that era) but Floor's version is always a million times better ;)
Poet and the Pendulum you need to research the back story, It is an emotional song. do the one with lyrics it doesn't seem to be blocked as much also its in 5 parts and you can pause at the start of each to help with not getting blocked..

Also, High Hopes (With Marco Hietala, the bassist, singing). Finally, I want you to react to The Greatest Show On Earth at Tampere 2015. Ofcourse, you could also react to some that never get love, like Alpenglow, 7 Days to the Wolves, etc...
Also, I want to point out that Nightwish fans are literally the coolest fanbase in the world. We are VERY passionate, however, we are very accepting of other people and their views. Nightwish is so diverse, there is stuff for everyone, and not everyone has to like everything. Never feel like you are going to "disappoint" or "anger" us, we are chill as fuck!
There's something about a big crowd of predominantly white people with long hair in the dark with a huge goddess in total control and you can sort of imagine some of those crowd surfers having the honour of being chosen to be tonight's human sacrifices, you can almost smell the blood. Its so gothic.

Little backstory, this song was written for the previous singer Anette Olsson that has a more rock pop voice. The "original" version is cool (we love and appreciate the previous singer and respect her contribution to that era) but Floor's version is always a million times better ;)
Love me some Patricia Benatar. Pat Benatar was also a trained opera singer who went common voice for her rock career.
One of the greatest ever.
That dude is a cop for shore lol
Btw, I think Hans Zimmer allowed the to use Crimson Tide’s theme (from around 4:40 in your video)
Ever Dream Wacken 2013!!!
The 6 dislikes on this video are from the dude in the audience who just stood there unamused.
Check out songs from the Tarja era: Ever dream, End of all hope, Sleeping sun, Wishmaster, Over the hills, Nemo
Just insane literally cannot watching your reaction video 🤘🏼
Poet and the Pendulum you need to research the back story, It is an emotional song. do the one with lyrics it doesn't seem to be blocked as much also its in 5 parts and you can pause at the start of each to help with not getting blocked..
Great reaction to STORYTIME, now you should watch THE LAST RIDE OF THE DAY. Nice reference to Pat Benatar. Have you reacted to her yet. Thank you.
Celtic? Last of the Wilds (Wacken 2013)
I can't live without Nightwish
Please react The last ride of the day from the same concert.
I'd like to hear you react to Scaretale the ALBUM version (With their 2nd singer, Anette Olzen) and Phantom of the Opera on the End of an Era DVD (With their 1st singer, Tarja Turunen).
How have you guys not done Babymetal Rondo of Nightmare live 🥴
There's something about a big crowd of predominantly white people with long hair in the dark with a huge goddess in total control and you can sort of imagine some of those crowd surfers having the honour of being chosen to be tonight's human sacrifices, you can almost smell the blood. Its so gothic.
I love nightwish but i have to request Powerwolf - Resurrection by Erection, Powerwolf - Army of the night, Ghost - He is
as you are still rather small and i see a chance :D
Retro NIGHTWISH, try Phantom of the Opera, live.. Tarja, vocalist
Go Poet and the Pendulum live on Wembley with lyrics so you can understand it better.. And remember to pause some times to avoid the copy right :)
