- Habibati! I can't get enough of Nightwish, I think we'll do one a week. Half way through the song I felt complete. The song gave me all the feels that I needed, I felt accomplished for the day. But then, THEN, I can't even describe to you what I felt. Time stopped. WHAT THE ACTUAL F$&%B*#$. I don't think anything makes me as happy as being surprised by Nightwish. I love this song. I love this band. and I love all of you for introducing me to them. so Thank you!

Props to you for noticing that Floor growls in this one, many reactors tend to miss that. She is the beauty and the beast in one awesome package. This song is basically Tuomas way of saying 🖕to trolls and haters. Theirs is an empty hope.
Seeing if someone notices, and their *face* when they do, is one of the main reasons I love watching reactions to this song.

It IS amazing! Reaction videos like this are how I found Nightwish, how I continue to partake in the joy of rediscovering them over and over with other wonderful people all over the world, how I was encouraged to get their albums and go see them live this year, and how I am now a fan for life and hope to see them again! Feel lucky to have found them, but only wish I had found them sooner. Great reaction by the way! Not everyone catches that Floor is doing that. It's amazing, all the things she can do with her voice.

@Arab Man Reacts: Did you seriously not know Floor can growl? She has been growling since her days in Revamp, and growled in Ghost River during Wacken 2013.
As an aside, I first heard this song from the Nightwish Cruise performance, and the sound balance was so good that despite the smaller venue, you couldn't tell Floor was growing, unless you realized that only Marko was singing the chorus -- yet Floor had her mic up, and was still vocalising her part.
When I realized that Floor was growing that low, bro...two words: Mind. Blown. 🤯🤯🤯
Hey! I do know she can growl, I reacted to a NW song a few years ago and that's when that discovery was made. It's just you still never expect it, or at least that's the case with me. So it still gets to me when I hear her growl like that. Like a new connection is made in my brain and circuits explode.

Robert! I feel you man, NW just hits different. Life isn't easy here that's for sure. Minimum wage has dropped from like $400 to like $40 so you can imagine how hard life has become for people. Add to that all the political rubbish we have to put up with and the port explosion. But we're figuring it out, one day at a time.

I looked at your list of Nightwish reactions and there is one missing that is one of my favorites. "Noise", from their latest release. One of the few cases where you MUST see the music video itself, not the live versions because it is an exceptional commentary on the cesspools of the internet and social media. It is extremely striking visually.
As long as I have your ear, let me get a plug in for you to do more Devin Townsend, please! I can guarantee you if you just do a few more, you will have the same level of amazement and excitement that you have for Nightwish. The videos for "Stormbending", "Spirits Will Collide" and "Genesis" are remarkable. His live performances of "Higher", "Awake", "Grace"(Retinal Circus), "Willy Wanka" (and most especially, even though it's almost a half hour long), the incomparable "Funeral / Bastard / The Death of Music" at Royal Albert Hall is the best of the best. If you have to pick only one, do the last one, please!

The "Noise" video is amazing visually and the artistic video concept really drives home the message they are conveying about modern tech alienating us from the world around us, which is as important as the song itself.
And you're very right about "The Islander", but if I had to choose it would be the live version because we get to see Marco display his charm, talent and charisma live on stage in the spotlight. It's magical.

I love, love, love your reaction to this amazing show opener at Wembley. Some people cannot bring themselves to believe that it is Floor doing the harsh growls on every chorus while Marko sings clean above her. WTF indeed! One of her talents which never gets a mention is her 'elastic' face. That roar of hers was full horror movie level without the need of CGI. In one concert she fell on a rain soaked stage and when she got up, she went into clown face mode to make a joke of it. That talent is very much a part of her expressiveness.
