- This is one of the most beautiful songs ever made - by the amazing band Evanescence!
I've been a huge fan of theirs since I was a teenager, and this song has been with me through so many different parts of my life.
I never felt confident enough to make a cover of it until now, so I hope you'll give it a listen and enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Gosh, a song close to my heart. Years don't matter, love friendship stay, she understood so many years later and stepped out of this life. Words said and unsaid, thinbgs changed and unchanged, feelings changed and unchanged .. Yes that's life, sometimes a shame, sometimes pittifull, sometimes a missed opportunity .. but the friendship and love stays even after death

In song styles such as yours in this video, the lead vocal track is placed in the instrumental(s) until it is "well seated." That means the volume on the lead vocal is boosted if it is too quiet, or reduced if it is too loud.
For your song's style, the instrumentation should be quieter than the vocal.
I listened to only the vocal track for your video, and your singing is beyond merely excellent. It is a shame that it was lost in the instrumentation. Your voice is sitting behind the instrumental.
I noted your vocal's reverb, that shows the vocal and instrument were mixed (there might also have been added a delay track, but if so, the reverb is masking it). Whoever did the mixing did not seat the vocal properly: the piano is excellent, yet it is too loud. Nor did I detect enough compression on the vocal.
If I had done the mix, I would have cut the instrumental track's volume 4dB or even 5dB. I would have boosted the vocal by 3dB. I would add more compression, or compression, at 5:1 ratio, -15 threshold, 50ms attack, 100ms release, 50 wet / 50 dry, and make up the gain by about 3db.
If you want to hear the song the way I described, I will upload a remix for you to download. 75 megabytes .WAV is best to hear the changes.
