A LOT of the visual impact of pretty much every music video is due to the editing. I mean, they aren't singing the track while this was filmed, right? And you use multiple cameras and then match the track and the video. If you can lip sync it, great - if not, show something else (0:38, 2:07, 2:15). It can also (and is, they change location) be done in multiple settings. Like, you don't show it, if it isn't good. Yes, the result looks cool because it matches up, but from an editing perspective it's normal business.
The song has so much more impact, when the singers know exactly what the writer has experienced. This group of singers deserves all the accolades and all the love. ❤❤❤

We both loved Evanescence and I loved her more then she would ever know. We both sang songs to each other almost everyday and this was always hers to me. I grew up in a Waldorf school, so music was a huge part of my late childhood. The first chords of this song instantly bring me home. Ever since eighth grade graduation, I have felt very lonely as the only friends I have really loved drifted off to other social circles. This song is so beautiful and tragic and expresses my feelings very well. The ending seems to be open, like someone waiting to be called home. Thank you.
