Hi Magnus! The years fly by! I would love to ask for a video doing gym workouts + their climbing application. It’s one thing to look at it online, but between yourself and the guests on your channel, it feels like some of the ‘secrets’ are missed out on.
The way you talked about this being a sort of 'Time Capsule' moment in your life, and it hit me in much the same way. I watched the original video here before i was married, before the world shut down, before my ACL Injury, and so on. Time just moves onwards relentlessly and i can relate to a lot of the fears you have of getting older and weaker, though i'm mostly weaker because my body keeps falling apart! Anyway, enough of that. Here's to another 5 and hopefully more successful years for us both. Hope life treats you well Magnus.
Had to pause the video after the old/young comparison to comment. You've spoken quite a bit about this in your videos lately. Aging can be pretty terrifying, especially for someone who has worked to be as physically excellent as yourself. My first instinct as someone who has been inspired by you for many years was to just bolster your confidence with the facts- you're outstandingly strong and fit right now; your strength-to-weight ratio and level of technical skill make you one in many many millions. But, I believe there's a more important point (from my outsider's perspective) to be made... Aging with grace is about shifting from learning, acquiring, conquering, and seeking (inward processes) to teaching, bestowing, offering, and building (outward processes). In your years of learning and conquering a skill, you have created a platform that sets you ahead in this way; you inspire thousands of people to be active and push themselves, developed education for aspiring and advanced climbers alike, you've shared content that reminds us of our humanity (through your transparency and sincerity) rather than distracts us from it, and built a clothing brand that has created jobs and brilliant, eco-friendly, high-quality clothes! This is a fabulous list to your name and it only touches upon the obvious and publicly apparent parts of your life. I imagine that there are more meaningful things that lay closer to your life and heart off-camera. I wonder what you feel reflecting on these things, is there a box you haven't checked yet? Do you feel that there is leaning, acquiring, conquering, or seeking you would still like to do? What might that be? Or, perhaps, you feel passionate about making your shift of purpose in a different way- your vision is out of alignment with your steps? You've provided a great deal to the TH-cam community and the world, I hope that your relationship with this platform does not become a limiting one. Continue to face your own life with consideration and passion! I hope that voices of pride, fulfillment, joy, and peace speak more clearly and loudly than the voices of comparison and self-doubt even just today. The warmest of wishes to you and your ongoing adventures!

Climbing gym redemption arc! Love to see it.
Magnus released a video.
Me : Happy as Fuck.
Always.
Magnus' videos are always so comforting to watch it just feels so safe. Idk how to describe
Magnus should get "makeover" tips from the sweet staff guy. I didn't realize it was him either.
Where is Marte?
I'm assuming they've broken up a while ago, but so is life.
Edit: just saw the end and the way he said he's "not here with his girlfriend" is definitely a bit ambiguous. Though I'm guessing he would have said Marte if they were still dating
@@wsemenske this could totally be wrong, but I vaguely remember hearing some time ago that she simply preferred not featuring in the videos
This felt like a really special video, seeing past and present Magnus hanging (out) together was really cool.
i love the idea that the gym guy got this different hairstyle in the hope that magnus shows up someday and does not recognize him! xD
no, i think he would have welcomed him right away if magnus spoke japanese. he might be nervous speaking english.
Magnus's videos always leave me with a big smile on my face. Cheers Magnus!
0:10! We miss Marta ❤
It was really fun to see that the same people were there and also that they had saved the photo from 5 years ago! Seems like a good community
that video was 5 years ago?! Hard to believe, i remember it very well.
What a great time that must have been. It's always nice to bump into people after that many years and they still remember you. 👍👍👍
Yay, a brief Marte appearance
Are they still a thing? Just very curious
@@Zeemac No idea actually. After the Alex Honnold reaction video you never really see her again. Never saw anything saying they split so I assume they're still going?
