Location: Freedom Hall State Fairground, Louisville, Kentucky, USA.
Tyson came out strong and dominated the first round. At the midway point of the first, Tyson staggered Williams with a left uppercut, causing a shaken Williams to clinch with Tyson. Tyson continued to hammer Williams with power punches and was able to again stagger Williams with 20 seconds left in the round, but Williams managed to clinch Tyson and made it through the first round without suffering any knock-downs. Tyson, however, had injured his left knee - by tearing a ligament - which would impair his movement and ability to throw punches for the rest of the fight. He underwent surgery for the injury a few days later.
Williams had a much better second round, being able to land several power punches and trading blows with Tyson during the final minute, but Tyson still managed to win the round on all three of the judges' scorecards. Williams attempted to remain competitive with Tyson in the third round, but had two points deducted for two separate fouls, one for a late punch on the break that opened a cut above Tyson's right eye, and another for a low blow. In round four, however, Tyson began to tire, neither throwing nor landing as many punches as he had in the previous rounds.
With only 25 seconds remaining, Williams began to rain in a long, unanswered combination, which ultimately sent Tyson into the ropes and onto the canvas with 10 seconds left in the round. Tyson remained seated on the canvas before finally attempting to get back up as the referee's count reached seven. Although the groggy Tyson was able to get back up, he narrowly missed beating the referee's count of ten. As a result, Williams was declared the winner by knock-out at 2:51 of the fourth round - กีฬา

That was a brutal fight for both men. Tyson got very tired. But he's still the Hall of Famer that will go down in the history books. Props to Danny Williams. A hard, skilled big man.

Damn, Williams took a beating of 100 men from Tyson & still came back to win, amazing ! Never saw anyone get hit so many times & so powerful from Tyson that wasnt KO'd. Iron Mike was phenomenal but Williams won. Huge Props to both Warriors !

That is a long story so when we went to the fight it was hard being a Tyson fan to not support both. Danny showed force and it stunned everyone. After I really thing people disrespected him to a degree that was sick. Otherwise he would of had alot more fights booked. Anyway that's that I guess. Love to meet Tyson but he isn't an easy man to meet. Danny was game on and became a friend.

In 2004, Tyson was not the same as in 90'. He experienced major shipwrecks on a private plane and other injustices. In this match, Tyson is 38 years old and Danny is 31 years old. As time passed, his opponents had the opportunity to prepare tactics against him. Many were waiting for his fall in order to oppose him, and until then they ran away from him like the devil from the cross. For me, Tyson is the best of all time. The only match I would like to see, which is impossible, would be a match between Tyson and Ali.
Same thing would happen to Tyson that happened to George Foreman. Ali could take an incredible punch. If Tyson would've fought the Ali of the 60s, or even the early 70s, Tyson would've tired himself out swinging at where Ali WAS a second before, and sometimes even land a good shot, or two. Ali wins by KO in the 8th-10th round....

I don't think it's so unbelievable when it should be obvious to anybody that when they step into the ring with Mike Tyson, especially after the first time he lost in Japan, now everyone truly has a game plan in their mind as Muhammad Ali said about Cleveland Williams:
"People never truly understand how hard it is to beat a man that steps into the ring and has made up his mind to win".
I think it's reasonable to say that there's certainly came a Time if any that after losing to buster Douglas somewhere there after, Mike whether he realized it or not was certainly up against it every fight he had from there...
I also think it's fair to say that if Cus' theoretically never died, Tyson wood probably go undefeated and break Marciano's record basically taking on all comers...
The odds are against it of course because of simple statistics, but there's no doubt it's reasonable to say if anybody could do it it would have been Tyson and he established enough credit where saying he had the potential to, is rather irresponsible.
The guy under the watchful eye of Cus, was a wrecking machine only to get better in theory if one thinks about it but that's not how history played itself out obviously...
But obviously there is a point to all this and Tyson was a dangerous and special hybrid fighter.
Could he beat a young Cassius Clay is an interesting question.
Probably set up for the greatest three fights and third being the rubber match if ever there was at greatest matchup possible.

Mike Tyson purposely didn't get up from the floor, he was too tired and couldn't be bothered. If you look closely you see that when Tyson was down he raised his glove to protect his head from the last punch Williams tried to land, so Mike was obviously aware of his surroundings and was not ko'd at all..he just had no heart left. Drugs & booze ruined this guy big time.
