Its very simple. Just weld a pipe nipple to the end of the tank and attach a brass gate valve. Look on the mysticsmokers.com website for photos or my Facebook profile. 3/4"× #9guage flattened expanded metal
Would that be 3/4x1/2 or 2" ,we don't have #9gauge I guess that would be about 1/8th thanks

Do you ever install a propane system in your cookers?
Yep. Easy peasy. I haven't done one in many years though. The trend lately seems to be high airflow stick burners.
