Picture quality wise , other cheaper options won't be that worthy. Because every tv have different performance in terms of HDR, controlling the motion blur etc.
As you have already mentioned sony x90L ans OLED series A80, then these beautiful TV's.
If you can stretch your budget for OLED , then definitely go with it. If need a slightly lesser price tv model, then go with Sony x90L.
They both gives beautiful HDR performance, balance of contrast and brightness, Dolby vision support and Android os.

This was the most layman's term information provided by you. I'm currently thinking to buy a new Sony TV as ps5 pro is on the corner, had a lot of thoughts and doubts about sony Bravia TVs. I even went to sony showrooms just to ask detailed differences in all the models. But every salesman started to say big words of Sony's processors and display which I had zero clue about. After asking for detailed info every salesman said it'll take 30-45mins to explain everything in detail and didn't bothered. In Received X64L had Backlight Bleeding issue or little white dot in left corner so SONY has given me replacement of X70L.
But brightness & sharpness are low compared to X64L.

If your usage is of gaming and ott , then better tv will be Samsung Q70C ( neither x75l nor q60c).
Though you can do casual games on x75L and it's good for a mix of ott and hd movies ( as it has very good upscaling).

It has got inbuilt JBl 100w soundbar too , hence good audio. See , this one has limited upscaling compared to LG mentioned above. But overall a good tv.
This one is definitely better than Vu glo led and Mi X pro
There's Hisense tornado 3.0, but it has got 60w audio and right now out of stock.
TCL TV's starts to lag after sometime, hence right now won't recommend it.

As your main tv watching content is sd/hd channels for 55/65 inch size , your tv would require proper upscaling of the contents.
One of the top brand which gives proper upscaling is Sony.
You can prefer sony x75L , which is beautiful for watching sd/hd channels from set top box and also occasional gaming.
Also , if you can go with more budget then consider sony x80k. This tv has better hdr performance.
One more thing , all top tier brands provides average audio ( sony tv will have clear audio but not too loud , 20w)

The jitter problem is nowadays faced in many TV's from almost all brands. This issue was mentioned by many reviewers across the globe. Though the tv brands are doing very less regarding this, but still you can try few things.
But this problem is tackled with steps which may or may not applicable to your tv.
Some try , just taking out the plug for 15mins and then inserting the plug and restarting the tv.
Some try to go in picture settings.

Sony x90k itself is a worthy tv to buy. But there is another tv , with same mini led's and dimming zones with better brightness and details : Samsung neo qled qn85b.

Advantage is , you get better details in dark scenes.
But it cost is higher than sony x90k. If you are ok with it , then please go ahead with samsung. If budget can't be stretched then sony x90k itself is very good.

Advantage is , you get android OS and dolby vision support.
Note : sony x90L , the newer model has also been launched , but it too costs more and has refresh rate of 60hz. Hence right now It's not a value for money.

When compared , LG qned is a good option to go with. But do note , it has its own web OS and not the Android.
When , talked about sony x80L (standalone) , it's a good tv , considering its HDR performance and Android OS with its X1 processor. But , I would definitely like to add another option for you.
Vu masterpiece QLED (considering your main usage is OTT). It has beautiful brightness, support of Dolby vision and HDR , good built-in audio and 120hz refresh panel ( for smooth action scenes & sports).

Was searching for a video like this. This is amazing content. For last few days I have been researching for the perfect TV to get. Since you, so sincerely, have given us an option to seek your opinion, I would love to utilise it. As your usage of tv will be ott contents and set top box channels and also gaming , I would suggest two options according to your budget
1. Sony x75L : It will give beautiful upscaling of sd and hd contents. Very nice colours. Also very good ott experience. For gaming, you can play casual games ( not PS5 as it doesn't have 120zh refresh )
2. Vu masterpiece QLED : It has very good brightness, Dolby vision support , very good for 4k contents from ott platforms and hd channels. 120 hz refresh panel with vrr and ALLM will give smooth gaming experience. ( Do note , upscaling of sd contents like Sony cannot be given any other brand , hence vu masterpiece qled's sd content upscaling is just fine not that great , but for hd contents is good)
If you watch sd channels more often and do casual gaming then go with Sony X75L
If you watch hd channels + 4k contents on ott + sports + gaming then go with vu masterpiece qled
