If it wasn't funny enough, the very thought of having the movie characters also experience turbulence is pure comic genius! If anyone watching this says it wasn't funny, my reply would be you have no sense of humor. This was hilarious!
This was my ALL-TIME FAVORITE solo Jerry Lewis film as a kid! I watched it so many times, I have the whole thing practically engraved on my brain. Lewis was a genius!

I agree with you Nanette! Jerry brought me so much laughter and joy as a kid - his movies were an integral part of my childhood. To this day, I am a fan of his comedic genius. It's really sad that we lost him, but at least he lived a long and amazingly productive life.
Dinner a la carte was a liitle diiferent with Jerry in charge!!!!! lol With Jerry being our pilot , there was no doubt he'd get us through the dark clouds and into the bright sunshine and non stop belly laughs!!!!!!!

IT IS a Ford Tri-Motor. . .And this very plane is STILL FLYING. . .it's owned by the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) and was fully restored by them. . .They fly it around the country to show it and they even offer rides in it. . .I saw it about 2 years ago at a small airport in Newton, Kansas just north of Wichita. . .I was able to go inside and take as many pictures as I wanted. . .Even got up in the cockpit to take photos. . .They have a plaque on the passenger entry door detailing the history of this plane, and it includes that it was the plane used in this movie. . .
i saw this as a kid. The scene where everyone in the projector film slides sideways had me laughing for a week!

Anne Baxter was a major hottie 🥰 Her role as Irene Adler to Peter Cushing Sherlock Holmes, was her final role and she was so lovely. 🥰
She was no Hope Emerson (hubba hubba!) but the late great Ms. Baxter was indeed one truly lovely lady!
Lewis said it was hard to film the Captain Eddie sequence, because he'd finally found a character that was too goofy for even him not to crack up...
