Susan Linda Bay Nimoy (born March 16, 1943) is an American actress and director. Among her television appearances, she portrayed Admiral Rollman in two episodes of the television series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: "Past Prologue" in the first season and "Whispers" in the second.[1]
more than that....a great writer, director....innovator (invented the video assist monitor, now standard practice for all screen work)....humanitarian......one of a kind, and 90 now !!
@@NaturaBreeze All that you wrote and more, an interview with an actress told how on the first day on the set of a new movie he made it a point to meet every member of the crew from a simple stagehand, to the top and by days end he was calling each member by name, not a hay you, or hay lighting guy. he knew all their names which were over 100 people.
Jeannine Riley's character reminds me so much of Loni Anderson from WKRP. She's a blond bombshell who just so happens to be the smartest person in the room.
When they initially walk together to where the tennis balls are,if you look closely you are able to see the shadow cast by the moving overhead boom mic.
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment should release this classic on DVD! The Big Mouth, Three on a Couch, Don't Raise the Bridge Lower the River, and Hook Line & Sinker were released by Columbia in the '60s, which is now owned by Sony, so it's up to Sony to release them on DVD. Way...Way Out and Hardly Working were released by 20th Century Fox, so it's up to 20th Century Fox to release them on DVD. I'm sure if Jerry had his way they would all be available on DVD already. Most of Jerry's movies were released by Paramount (The Family Jewels, The Pasty, Who's Minding the Store?, The Nutty Professor, etc.) and those ones are all released on DVD by Paramount.

+Stephen Skellington Hardly Working never came out on DVD.
When they are walking over to the court, you see the shadow of the boom mic cast on the green fence for a few seconds. Jerry must have missed that in the editing.
I am aware that the plurality of you may not believe such a thing, but the actress partaking in this current scene (Tennis Match) from the film, "The Big Mouth," is as a matter of fact my Brother's Wife's genetic Mother. This is a sight that astounds me every second of viewing. Trust me.
You got that right! Jerry's late 60s movies were not very good & were not box office hits. His frantic style was really getting stale. The poor scripts didn't help much. No wonder he didn't appear in any feature films between 1969 & 1980.
As I have mentioned elsewhere God favored Abel over Cain because God enjoys the aroma of meat cooking. BTW cats must eat meat or they go blind. Did God enact that law of nature in response to Adam and Eve eating the fruit of the tree of knowledge?
Some of the early stuff with Dean Martin is quite funny and had audiences rolling in the aisles back in the day. However, after they split Dean got funnier and Jerry got embarrassingly unfunny. In the end his ego - as the great know-it-all film maker - got so bloated that he was unwatchable
willie otoole Dean was always funny (and that's not just my opinion, if you watch any interview of other entertainers who knew him they all say that he was hilarious even off-screen in private life) But his jokes and ad-libs were always sidelined in the act by Jerry's more manic slapstick humour.
The Big Mouth is my favorite of Jerry's late 60's comedies. A guilty pleasure for sure. But your right, Jerry's movies always had cringe-worthy moments that a more talented comic/filmmaker would have learned to temper (like Chaplin). How sadly ironic that in 1970 Dean Maritn starred in Airport, that year's biggest blockbuster, while Jerry's film career imploded.
No matter how professional you are how do you not crack up with this guy..wonder how many takes it took…kudos to Jeanine 😄
Seeing him in slow motion going completely in the wrong direction than which the ball is coming, hilarious!!!!!
He was the funniest guy ever

She's good! Working with the master she holds her own and with class too!
She plays really well. Moves her legs a little bit after the hit, but it's certainly a good serve. Bravo!
a master at slapstick. there will never be another Jerry Lewis

SLAP STICK eh...quite the PUN in this scene i think! ha ha!!
and his children are glad...
This ends right before the best part!
She could have someone’s eye out with those things. 😁
WHEN HE EXPELS GAS AT 3:12, I LOST IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MASTER OF COMEDY !!!!!!!
He's gulping, not expelling gas.
Genius Jerry Lewis
I agree. He had a dark side but there's no disputing the genius. I wish they'd put a clean, letterboxed copy of this out on dvd. thanx for watching :)
what dark side
?
What he means is Lewis was a prick with ears.
I can dispute the so-called "genius".
David we all have a dark side! Jerry was precious! A genius! Such a terrible loss :( :(
Jerry had no "dark side." People who "dispute" his genius are bo-bo heads.
A tough taskmaster with a passion for his art that rubbed people the wrong way😜
Julius Kelp playing tennis! Lol
It's funny that he mentioned being mistaken for Gregory Peck because the same thing happened to me yesterday!
No one knows who he is anymore.😮
RIP Mr. Lewis. A funnier man has never walked the planet.
"Now don't forget your balls" lol
Off camera you know Jerry had to be smashing that in his trailer!
Jeannine Riley's character reminds me so much of Loni Anderson from WKRP. She's a blond bombshell who just so happens to be the smartest person in the room.
Now that you mention it...I agree!
I certainly have a notion to second that emotion !!
Seems like Jerry's "Gerald Clamson" character is the same as his "Professor Julius Kelp" from "The Nutty Professor."
You are CORRECT!!!!!!!!
It's his best character.
"Maybe holding onto it firmer-ly would have been stronger than loose"
When they initially walk together to where the tennis balls are,if you look
closely you are able to see the shadow
cast by the moving overhead boom mic.
Good catch!
I can't help but notice that the lovely Jeannine Riley bears a slight resemblance to a young Florence Henderson...
I thought it was Florence Henderson, but the voice was off.
Me, too...
paul simmons She's the well built sister that Florence always hated.
jeanine riley? as in Jeannie C. Riley the singer?
@@Lauren-vd4qe no,but she was on Hee Haw and was the first Billy Jo Bradley on Petticoat Junction

Oh, I see. Sorry, my mistake. But well, Way... Way Out has come out on DVD, but I believe is out of print by now.
Stephen Frankenstein Maybe now that Jerry has passed on some of his old films might be re-released in tribute.
😅😅😅😅😅😅 imortal Jerry Lewis ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Lewis = Genius
Ok those serves were all out...
"It's murder to play with just the, uh, rackets..."
He reminds me of Professor Kelp from the Nutty Professor
Yeah he was a variation Kelp. Lewis would dust him off from time to time after Nutty Professor. I believe this film is from approx 1970
this guy's a nut
Love you Mom! You look as beautiful then as you do now!
Corrine Rice Hello!!!
*Corrine Rice - Hello!
explain?
I love this gag! , but it is not syncronized, the audio and the video, a pity but thanks just the same!
Jeannine Riley was on heehaw and petticoat Junction
She indeed was ! A lovely lady & good actress !
When they are walking over to the court, you see the shadow of the boom mic cast on the green fence for a few seconds. Jerry must have missed that in the editing.
My guess would be that was a take they had to use due to no other good takes and limited schedule. You can't miss that boom shadow
Pure Prof Frink
That lady is pretty!🥰
She's no Hope Emerson (hubba hubba!) but she is indeed quite lovely!
De hecho, el saque de la profe es solido y excelente!
One funny mother fr!!
the King of comedy miss you Jerry
The nerd that he plays is the best!
Agreed
He was a genuis....oh,no......
I've undervauled him..
0:14, hilarious... "walked right over and said, ah ha..." susan bay is the actress, married leonard nimoy 20 years later.
That isn't susan bay
Perfect parody of the Poindexter.
I remember Lewis saying: “The 3 Stooges were the worst!” I liked him even less after that.
Jerry's ego was always bigger than his talent.
I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous
You can hear rhe swallow🤣😂😅
Professor Julius Ferrous Kelp is forever!!!!
He loved big Tipped blondes in his movies...
He was a clown ... 🙏🌹 from France 🇫🇷
Now watch him with dean in any bit on Colgate comedy hour. Jerry could never be that funny again.
Yes they were both great on CCH , however, Jerry was ALWAYS funny and wonderful
This role fits him the best because he is nerd
2:05 He farts...🤣
No, he gulped, you can see it when he does it as a reaction to her being so close.
The original Professor Frink!
De acá salió el chiste de las muñecas de la Anto
I'm in tears laughing!!!!!!!!!!!
I ♥ Jeannine

Raquel Welch had two kids long before her heyday even started. Bodies can stay beautiful long after child birth. It's up to the woman.
as the professor he is a very intelligent but doesn't know what ambidextrous is
FRED ROGERS that was part of the joke
Such a funny guy it's just to bad he was a egotistical bastard in real life.
When I was a kid in the 60s I thought he was funny. But then later found out how egotistical he was.
Best part appears right after clip ends. th-cam.com/video/hwFLMmYqvo0/w-d-xo.html
This didn’t age very well

anyone here because of multiversus?
He made the same type of joke three times. Never found his goofy mugging funny.
Totally agree. He didn't have much restraint. Went overboard with his gags. A little bit of Jerry went a long way!
Some of the early stuff with Dean Martin is quite funny and had audiences rolling in the aisles back in the day. However, after they split Dean got funnier and Jerry got embarrassingly unfunny. In the end his ego - as the great know-it-all film maker - got so bloated that he was unwatchable

Disagree, he made his best movies after the split.
Well said and well put. He wanted to be another Chaplin. But he was never THAT talented. And what an ego!
Completely and utterly unfunny. Embarrassing, in fact.
Well, there's that. A product of it's time.
Indeed. His late 60s movies are painfully unfunny for the most part.
How annoying!! is this supposed to be funny!! This man was well overrated!! but eh what do you expect.....its Hollywood
