You two make learning fun. I love the collaboration and humor. Having said that, this is a wonderful overview of whiteboard options (beyond the old fashioned stationary kind where it's not only laborious to write everything out but your back is turned to students. Great way to lose an audience.). In master teacher style, I appreciate the consistency of the option overviews: product name, key features, downsides, cost, and who it's best for. Wow, I'm so impressed by how helpful your videos are.

Good question. I miss a whiteboard, that is available on all plattforms and userfriendly. It needs some kind of administration and focus on collaboration.
i try and test some of them - but in the end, i maybe will try to start to code my own.

i am new to white boards ,can u suggest one on which simple science animations can be loaded and explained.

I'd say Limnu is probably the one with the most realistic 'handwriting' but none of them have an import brush feature. Also sorry this reply is so late!

Hi. GREAT information. Not a whiteboard app, but I've been using menti for my kids in Japan (aged 6-8). Given that I'm teaching English to these kids, can you suggest which whiteboard would have the lowest learning curve so that I can explain what to do on screen with minimal frustration for all involved? Cheers, everyone.
I'd say Jamboard is the simplest to use if all you need is basic writing and drawing :)

I thought whiteboard apps can be useful because I always seen it in the mystery shows when the protagonist or antagonist of the show always have like a road map of who done this and relation to that. Well to simplify it a productivity tool on digital platform and open source. But since I am new here I really hit that subscribe button for these videos.

Explain Everything does make the writing a little cleaner.
I got scared off when I was going try out miro. Unless I'm mistaken, boards made on the free version are available for everyone to see... What does that mean? Anyone who also has a miro account, like an open source board of content? I couldn't figure it out and don't try it. Any input would be great to help me figure this out. Also, thank for the reviews, I think I'm gon a give jamboard and limno a go
Hey Adam, this reply is way late, but to answer your question, you can make your boards private even on the free version. If you share your board though, I believe it'll give whoever you share it with access to all the boards in your dashboard. @@NewEdTechClassroom hi there, v grateful for your reply. I tried out jamboard and limno and opted for openboard in the end and forgot to go back and figure out miro. Openboard is working for me quite well for 1 on 1 online lessons.

Hiiii, which white board allow me to insert Pdf on which we can annotate. Moreover, it should be compatible with obs studio so that we can record videos and upload on TH-cam.

Nobody said a word about whether recordings can be uploaded to TH-cam.
Most of these apps don't have a built-in recording feature. Explain Everything does have the ability to export your recording to TH-cam. The free version of it limits your video to 1 minute.

At the bottom right of the vidéo, click on "parameters" (the wheel) and adjust speed to 0.75
Not trying to sound rude, but speed is the entire purpose of this video anyway, this is a video to bring to view some whiteboard apps they tried and liked, they even ranked them pretty amazingly from their experience, it's NOT meant to be specific hence making it fast is perfect

As a Kahoot! premium subscriber I got a decent discount on a whiteboard.fi subscription. I used it quite a bit while teaching virtually. I like the tools available and the fact that I can create a background image, push it out to my students, and watch them work in real time. The library feature is awesome and a bit time saver. I do not like the fact that only one room can be open at a time. So, if students do not finish work during class, I have to close that particular room in order to open a room for the next class. After watching this video I plan on learning more about whiteboard.chat. Thanks for sharing, very informative and enjoyable information!!!!!
