I tried a sample document, and I can see where this might be useful for working with students in my subject area. I'm not using Google Classroom, tho, so I would have to see how efficiently Kami interfaces with my LMS before I commit too much to it.
You're very welcome! You can generate shareable links with Kami, so it should work irrespective of your LMS!
Is it possible to use Kami during a Zoom session to assign different tasks to each student simultaneously while ensuring that only I can view their work in real time?

I used Kami last school year and found it to be helpful for teaching hybrid. I used a "scavenger hunt " approach to allow students to learn/apply the different tools and then quizzed them (Quizizz) on their mastery. Since I teach high school, this process was a little easier, but your idea of teaching one at a time may be helpful for others. At any rate, thank you for this presentation...great refresher!

I have working through a sample assignment for the first week of school, using your video KAMI TUTORIAL FOR TEACHERS. Current questions: what is the difference between a video comment and a screen capture video? Also- do I have to save each time I add a feature (audio comment, extra page at end of the PDF...?).
Hi Susan, I am more than happy to explain this to you! A video comment takes a video from your camera and can capture content from what you demonstrate in front of the camera. The Screen Capture tool allows you to create a short video of your screen and link it to your file as a Kami annotation. 🎥We do have the option of Autosave which you can select by going to the top right-hand corner, clicking on the little save icon and then ticking the autosave button. Additionally, if you go into your Kami settings, click 'Automatically Save My Changes to Google Drive'. This will ensure all of your annotations stay saved! - Kayla

No, but you can achieve almost the same thing with the Draw It tool in Nearpod

@@samueld.shuler7420 You uploaded a Kami document to Nearpod? I haven't tried that, actually, so you'll have to see how it works! I would try logging in as a student to verify before actually teaching your lesson to make sure you don't run into any problems.
