Just keep an eye on it. I had a generator stolen while it was running, and in use. They waited until we were on the roof, and threw it into the back of a truck.

I purchased the CutHub in June. I have been doing finish carpentry for over 50 years. Excellent stand. After 4 months of hard use it shows very little wear which is expected once its set up and being used. Price point is good for the quality and ease of setup. I’m 6’4” and adjustable height saves my 72 year old back. My Milwaukee 12” Fuel sliding miter saw was perfect out of the box. That saw has been abused! Caught in a pop up thunder storm once, dropped off my tailgate ( my own fault). Minor adjustments and it runs great again. Great videos Richard.
Today (7/71/2024) is the first time I've seen or heard about Cut Hub. It looks fantastic. As a retired trucker just making sawdust on the garage floor I can't justify a purchase like this; I don't even have the room to store it, but if I was doing finish carpentry professionally I wouldn't hesitate to buy it. Great tools are an asset and although the end result is what counts, I would say that no one is going to show up to a job with this kind of investment in tools unless they could back it up. I also caught your comments on style when you unpacked the Milwaukee saw. That is attention to detail that's important when your work is on display. I hope it has been working out for you after 3 years.
I’ve been watching your channel now for a few months. Just had tile put in several bedrooms. Watching your videos before I installed new baseboards ...your simple yet effective tips have made my finish work much better. That saw stand is awesome!
I don't know about the rest of your viewers but you just sold me on this work station, can't wait to see how it stands up in the field, Thanks for sharing.

I paid £1000 for a Bosch sds max, and people called me mad, its something I use every day, and the one thing I couldn't do without, so that makes it worth every penny. You get what you pay for. The quality of your work speaks for itself.
Beautiful piece of engineering. The price tag seems pretty high, but those buttery stop blocks and the laser etched rules down the center are amazing!😍 Also, I don't think that you should have to apologize for purchasing a product or giving your honest opinion. It's your money, your business. You do what you want and forget the haters. Thanks for sharing 👍
Jetah yep. I didn’t have to measure and cut each piece. Terrific stop set up. Only trick is that after you move the station you have to make sure the saw is in the right spot for each side’s measure in the middle of the table. Mine is outside and always up. I’m going be doing a trim where I will need it on site.
Hi, Pretty cool system. I have to agree It's pricey but we all have to remember these tools will pay itself off within 3 - 5 projects. Sometimes sooner depending on the project. It's nice to have good tools that help your projects move more efficient. Good luck with your new stand. Can't wait to see your next project. Thanks for the video
They say "spend your money where you spend the most time." For most people that means invest in a high quality bed and high quality shoes. For a lot of people it also means a quality desk chair. If you're spending hundreds of hours each year at that stand and it improves comfort and/or makes you happier, your only regret should be that you didn't make the investment sooner.

The guys who created this were production carpenters. This is built to last with minimum working parts. The stop itself is genius. You haven’t even seen the extension where you can hook up a table saw!! Everything else that’s portable uses supports. When you cut crown or repeat cuts on long stock, this allows it to be measured ONCE. If you’ve watched his videos you know that repeatability bid critical to his work. And the guys who sell this are terrific to work with. Can’t say enough good about the whole transaction.
I bought a 28 foot werner pick and screwed blocks unto that's the height of my slider. Only needs a pair of horses and is rock solid, can set up on uneven ground and no interlocking pieces to deal with. Cost 700 and the blocks were scraps from a framing job. Best saw stand I've ever used, great for azek and the like
If a bunch of craftsman can’t appreciate supporting a small business that creates high quality products that actually make work better then I just don’t know. I appreciate you highlighting this for sure though brother
Looks great looking forward to seeing you using it on the job site and your comments after some time has passed, don't think you will have problems, just fantastic work as usual
I have a ridgid compound miter saw and noticed the fence has a slight angle, about 1.5 degrees, where both centers come in, creating a gap. When I cut end pieces, it is inaccurate and off. Any ideas on how to fix this.
Great video look like a amazing bit of kit if you invest in another middle plate you can have one for different mitre saws just swap them out keep up the great work massive amount of respect for your craft 👍
I’ve spent years doing cabinets and that’s a badass set up. Not sure it perfect for my type of application, but I can appreciate trying new things to make your performance better
If you're talking about the leg extensions...I'm sure they considered this, but metal expands and contracts. If the extensions are made from aluminum, it might cause some issues in 100 degree heat...but I agree with you.
Beautiful, well built stand. The efficiency it brings to the work site is well worth the cost. Having good equipment means better productivity and that equals more money and time for you.
Thanks again for taking the time to make a video, Richard!! Honestly, for $3400 I would have expected better quality fastening (instead of the same push buttons a $99 canopy has) also, what about an adjustable crown stop or material storage hooks in the front. Seems a bit shaky, too considering it was engineered from the ground up. Those 2x12s should be aluminum as well 😏 Sure, it’s pretty and will last forever but somewhere around $1200-1500 would seem more reasonable. I hope you have success with it and are 100% happy (or at least that Cut Hub will allow you to return it for a refund if you’re not satisfied). Looking forward to the new miter saw video review 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Just curious if the measuring increments lined up correct on both sides of the saw blade. Seems like the actual location of the miter saw between the 2 saw horses might be a pain to true up.
What a great looking saw stand. "Quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten" While I will never buy a saw stand of any kind, I have a bunch of high quality products at my home who seemed ridiculous expensive when I bought them. 25-30 years later, I still have them and use them.
How does it load and unload from the van, all those pieces sticking out seem like it would make it cumbersome to store on the van/trailer? I unload and load that trailer every day and it has to fit, be smooth and work every time.
Hello Richard, Great Video as always. It looks like the two center tubes can be set longer in the center of the two tables for a wider support ...? Now you have to rethink your Crown Stop set-up...? Question, did the 2:16 time include the leveling of the 8 feet...? You, still being in the mid to early stages of your Career I can see the Overall. Cost.would be to your advantage spreading the cost out over a decade or two to make it viable and justifiable of the $3,400 price tag... I have been a Carpenter now for 42 years. At 61 years old I could not justify the price ... Greg.
That's awesome brother. Glad you are finally getting up of your knees. And if I had the extra money..I would definitely buy one. I totally agree with your reasoning for the purchase of it. I think its a awesome setup and can't wait to see you put it to work. Stay safe and keep on hanging. Very happy for you. I know when I get new tools, I feel like a kid again on Christmas morning and it looks like you had a AWESOME Christmas:)
Your absolutely right. The time you spend making this tool means you are not making money doing what you do best. That’s why you bought it. Also, let’s face it when your tools look good your customers translate that into someone who cares about their work. If everything you have looks like it was wore out 10 years ago, it just doesn’t have a good look. People care about what they see, high end customers may not know anything, but they care about the look. Good choice, looks like an awesome and efficient setup.
Congrats! hope it serves you well. I say buy whatever you think will aid you in your work. Mobile working is tough enough anyway so we all deserve to make it as comfortable as possible. Not a practical option for me in the UK as it rains OFTEN and most properties would not have enough garden space to deploy that device. So for me, it's gonna remain the Dewalt stand and a few plastic saw-horses and planks.
i just thought of something. did you measure the distance from the blade to the stop measurement? second: with the wood supports would be the stop block function?
Looks sweet and no doubt the best for precision outside of a shop setting. What tool one chooses depends on the result they're going for. I do mostly framing and decks, so I get by with a 36V cordless Makita sliding miter saw bolted to rolling Ridgid stand--under $200 with lifetime warranty--in combination with a couple of roller stands (another $50). Easy to move and pops up in seconds. But no doubt not as slick and accurate. One of my favorite words is hemidemisemiquaver, which means a 1/64th note in music, but I like to think of it as a 1/64th of an inch, too, which is a standard I strive for but I can get typically get away with a larger margin of error. It's only spending too much money if the tool exceeds your needs. I find it's helpful not to think in terms of cost, but value. Cost is an absolute number, where value is more subjective.
Usually I don’t like watching you tubers with all their big fancy tools and stuff it seems pretentious, but I love watching you get giddy over new tools. Lol you deserve it. As essential craftsman says, “keep up the good work.” 👍👍 (also does the cut hub have attachments for crown stops?)
The beginning had me cracking up. Unfortunately, I’m only a DIYer & have no need for one, but have wanted one ever since I saw it & its creator on RR Building’s channel.
There use to be a PBS cooking show called The Frugal Gourmet and the host (Jeff Smith) once explained when he pulled out a very expensive ingredient (truffles) the “frugal” did not mean cheap, it meant spending your money wisely but still using the best ingredients. So if this new stand helps you do your business better and more efficient, it is money well spent. And I would imagine just a couple large jobs you do would pay for this.
Very emotional opening, I'm gonna need a moment. I saw the cut hub on RR builders channel. I'm kind of surprised you went with something that heave duty for trim work. It should last forever and you can use it as scaffolding:)
Because of the precise measurements on the side tables you showed. How do you get them to line up to the center of your blade so that those measurements are correct?
Do you have any tips to have a good dust collection system when cutting Mdf or wood using miter saws, circular saw & table saws? Because I have my miter saw connected to my shop vac and it only sucks 50% of all dust I don’t know why ?
I completely understand your reasoning for getting this system, remembering all the wing supports that deflect under the moderate weight. If I had the bread I buy one too.
Do they have an attachment to nest your crown molding or just the stop block for length? I know you put a lot of work in modifying your crown stops on the dewalt.
Looks great does it have any plastic clips. One thing I have problems with on my DEWALT stand is the wing nuts on the end pieces of saw stand. I’ve replace them quite a bit. Like the light weight aluminum the feet adjustment is cool too. Something DEWALT didn’t offer.
Would like explanation on measuring system because were you set miter saw & what miter saw. How does that line up with measurements on out feed tables?
Maybe I missed it but how do you calibrate the tape measure to the miter saw? Does it slide and lock down? I switched from the flexvolt to the milwaukee 12" a few months ago. Love it. My work isn't as high end as yours so I'll be stoked to hear your review on it.
A very versatile platform with many uses. Has built in measuring system with a stop, nice. What else can you get for it? Waiting anxiously for the conclusion. Price shouldn't matter if tool functions how you expect it to, the better the tool the money itll make ya....awesome 👍
Wonder if you could also put a router in there, but it might be too narrow between the connector rods. Also, whether it's possible to attach a dust collector ?
The reality is they gave it to you just like they have given other highly viewed stations one for free for advertising. Nice stand but not $3400 plus tax nice. For $3400 you can turn a cargo trailer into a miter stand.
I enjoy your humor! If people don't, they need to just chill out. The only time you really had me goin was your video response to Matt Risinger...it took me about 30 seconds to get that you were joking, but you had me for a minute!
Thanks for sharing the height adjustment. I'm 6' 4" and was concerned it would be to low for the money....now I'm convinced for sure this is the way to go!
I can hear it now, "you paid how much??? Harbor Freight has a piece of junk for $69 and I have a 20% off coupon"...........I already have the price list and deciding my configuration. Once you're actually in business and replacing your stuff, then you might realize why this is a great video and probably this mans best investment yet. Great job my man
The quality of everything looks really nice but its just me but i require a FLIP stop for the way i work for efficiency. I always wanted a hig quality saw stand when i used to do field work. Can you show the stop up close how it works and how it zeroes?
That looks absolutely badass. I would even pay $1500-$2000 for it 🤣. That said, I'm a remodeler not a trim carpenter that uses the miter saw 90% of the time, so I understand. Still think it's at least $1000 too much though but throw absolutely no salt your way for buying one. 👍🏽. Do the damn thing man, and thank you for all the great content that you take the time to send our way.

Best saw stand I've ever used, great for azek and the like
Just came across your channel today , loving your tips and sense of junor and your honesty .
Lots of woodworking love from ireland 🇮🇪👍🙏
Very nice saw stand.. What are the add-on side supports made out of? Are they wood? What is the rest of the saw stand made from? Aluminum?
I like your sense of humor! A good chuckle every two minutes! Great videos, great work!
What if your using 16ft pieces? Looks like you would need extensions on the left and right side. What are you going to use as extensions?
I have a ridgid compound miter saw and noticed the fence has a slight angle, about 1.5 degrees, where both centers come in, creating a gap. When I cut end pieces, it is inaccurate and off. Any ideas on how to fix this.
Great video look like a amazing bit of kit if you invest in another middle plate you can have one for different mitre saws just swap them out keep up the great work massive amount of respect for your craft 👍
I’ve spent years doing cabinets and that’s a badass set up. Not sure it perfect for my type of application, but I can appreciate trying new things to make your performance better
the only complaint i got is that for that money there shouldnt be any plastic parts
Yeah. That is disappointing but you guy a new truck these days and the gas pedal is plastic
You might change your mind about the cost if you go to a Metals Supply House and see how expensive aluminum in any form is.
@@choimdachoim9491 it's 1$ per pound in ingots.. but extruded alu is pretty good.
@@jetah50 I recently paid over $300 for a sheet of diamond-plate plus cutting. Extruded pieces at Home Depot, etc. are astronomical.
@@choimdachoim9491 what size and thickness sheet? i'm not seeing anything in that price range at hd website.
I think he might be adding in the 600.00 miter saw and shipping. It doesn't look 3,400.00 to me. If it is I kinda feel like that's a rip off.
You have my full attention because I know you are not selling something to me. It is really generous for you to allow us to learn on your dime.
Just curious if the measuring increments lined up correct on both sides of the saw blade. Seems like the actual location of the miter saw between the 2 saw horses might be a pain to true up.
What a great looking saw stand. "Quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten"
While I will never buy a saw stand of any kind, I have a bunch of high quality products at my home who seemed ridiculous expensive when I bought them. 25-30 years later, I still have them and use them.
How does it load and unload from the van, all those pieces sticking out seem like it would make it cumbersome to store on the van/trailer? I unload and load that trailer every day and it has to fit, be smooth and work every time.
It’s one of those things that you get what you pay for. Cut Hub is the only way to go!
Congratulations 👏 happy to see your going up in the world I know it ain't easy make life easier
My wife would say you can play with your new toy when you're done moving that pile of dirt.
How accurate is the engraved measurements on the stands? Did you have to calibrate the saw position to suit that?
It's too wobbly side-to-side to use as scaffolding.
Very impressive. Looking forward to you using it.
Your a clown😂😭😭 15:25 ... thru out the whole video you had some parts but this one had me dying🤣💯 GREAT VIDEO btw!
Impressive versatility. The wood planks are great for clamping onto.
I guarantee that after you stopped the watch on the assembly run. You spent another 10 mins trying to level it on the grass.
Maybe I missed it but how do you calibrate the tape measure to the miter saw? Does it slide and lock down?
I switched from the flexvolt to the milwaukee 12" a few months ago. Love it. My work isn't as high end as yours so I'll be stoked to hear your review on it.
Love that setup! My miter saw cart/stand is garbage 🗑 Can’t wait to see the field review
Nice new tool. Nothing like having the right tool for the right job.
Heck yeah!!! So happy for you. Glad that you spent the money for something that is worth it. This will prob be your stand for the rest of your career.
The reason you like it to look sharp is because you are trained for detail as a finish carpenter. Detail is your life everyday!
Looks super nice! Congrats!
Great to see your personality come out more. You created this so enjoy your masterpiece
Very nice new tool n'joy working with it 🙏👍
The reality is they gave it to you just like they have given other highly viewed stations one for free for advertising.
Haha! Thanks! Glad I could get you at least for 30 seconds !
Does that one except the table saw ? Ok have been looking at it , how long is booth together
Thanks for sharing the height adjustment. I'm 6' 4" and was concerned it would be to low for the money....now I'm convinced for sure this is the way to go!
Interested to see what you will do for crown stops or if the company offers crown stops. Looks like an awesome tool.
Very nice video I've been watching your channel by now you must be a multi-millionaire with all the commercials you're getting
Totally understand your choice. You are the best and you need the best.
Dude your sense of humor is hilarious 🤣 that intro and your wife joke...lmao bro
